Does anyone know an alternative for ClassButtons? Preferably to list my Paladin seals and blessing on another place than my normal bars.

I normally use Opie for this, as it can be strongly customized for any class and situation, but has rings for class-specific buffs and spells already laid out.

Is there a raid unitframe addon that can be configured to only show the members if they're dead? I'm looking for a way to target for battle rez without constant frames.

edit: Got it to work in Grid, thanks Pyrates!
- under status, set Unit Health to 0% opacity and low priority
- in indicators, checked Unit Health and Death Warning
(this could be also be used for an invisible-unless-afflicted-Decursive)

Can someone tell me where to download the updated version of FuBar that was mentioned a few posts back? I have searched curse and wowinterface for it and only come up with FuBar 3.6 which is not updated for WoW 4.0.1. Is it under a different name now?

It seems the latest version is 3.6 r38: FuBar 3.6 - r38 - WoW AddOns - WowAce.com
I don't know if it works with 4.0.1 but it said "cataclysm fixes". Probably you will need to turn on outdated addons to run this.
Also the Bazooka addon looks very similar and recently updated.

I'm pretty sure I can do that with grid. Maybe one needs to write a little plugin for that, but if you're interested, I'd write that for you. Let me know

Mapster used to color code by class the blips in the Zone Map (Shift+M), do you know of any other addons that can do this?

It looks like PartySpotter can handle that, as well as a few other situations you might find useful (like distinguishing party from raid in battlgrounds).

Hello there. I was recently watching a few you-tube videos of ICC raiding. I saw a really neat add on that I would love to get. Basically what it does is make the enemy unit frame, look like the old-school Warcraft 3 or Starcraft.

I play a DK and I am worried about disease clipping, whats the best mod out there to track this sort of thing?

Horrorshowrot, I have the feeling you might be describing something like SunnArt - Starcraft 2 Terran UI : Graphic UI Mods : WoWInterface Downloads, but the choice of words 'unit frame' makes me unsure.

There's a number of options, out of which it's mostly a matter of preference. Some Unit Frames already have a solid function for it. Other options include Power Auras, NeedToKnow, Satrina Buff Frames or Class Timers.

As far as I know NTK and SBF, since I use both of those addons, don't show when the actual tick of the dot goes off.

I use NTK to track diseases, and SBF to track buffs, debuffs, and procs.

I am looking for an addon that specifically shows when the dot is going to tick, so I don't accidentally reapply my diseases before the damage goes off.

I am specifically looking for a mod that will show me visually when a disease is about to apply a tick of damage so I don't overwrite the disease and waste the damage before it goes off.

EventHorizon is very customizable, and will show you when your dots will tick (it may need some tweaking for glyphs and talents, but for most classes it's ready out of the box).

However, under the new 4.x behavior of dots and hots, you may ultimately find this unnecessary, as there is now a healthy buffer of time remaining during which reapplying the spell will lengthen the overall duration rather than clipping remaining ticks.

Ya I was reading about dot ticks no longer being able to be clipped, but I could only find clarification on this from a warlock and a spriest perspective. If they do lengthen the overall duration, then it works for them but for Frost DKs diseases still work the same.

It doesn't increase the overall duration, but just puts them back at 29 second timer.

Thanks for the mod suggestion though, I will check it out when I have time.
