Can anyone suggest a nice, pretty, compact combat log addon? I used to use Eavesdrop and then Cascade and loved them, but they have some serious issues on the Atramedes fight so I need to replace it. Something similar would be nice, preferably with the ability to shift click an event to link it to chat.

What's your problem with Eavesdrop?

Whenever Atramedes casts Modulation or Searing Flames I completely freeze up. Someone on WoWInterface posted a similar issue in the comments, and Eavesdrop hasn't been updated in months.

I was most recently using Cascade, and saw the comments on Eavesdrop mentioning a similar problem. I guess I'll have to try it out myself.

I have seen that Saft's TukUI edit has an interesting colour on his actionbar buttons and buffs, but when I downloaded it, the colour wasn't changed from the normal one. So, any ideas on how to actually make it that way? Is it an external mod or do I have to write any line of code anywhere?

(notice how every spell has an interesting colour, different from the default one - I want that!)

It's an icon pack from wowinterface.com, can't remember exactly though.

I am currently trying to clear up space in my raiding UI. I have most of my action bars shown, though I rarely look at them unless I want to see what is left on a given abilities cooldown. I seem to remember an action bar mod that would allow you to set up bars to only show buttons when on cooldown, otherwise they would be hidden and non responsive to clicking. Does that option exist in Bartender and I am just missing it? If not, is there an addon that will do this?

I do not want to use a timer bar to track them. I just want a clickable icon that will only show when the ability is on cooldwon and be hidden otherwise, with a cooldown count displayed inside the icon. I don't really need visible buttons for defensive cooldowns, TC, SS, etc. at all times. Thanks in advance!

You can use Debuff Filter mod to setup what you want. However you'll need to manually fill the list of cooldowns to track. Another downside is the cooldown order — unlike normal actionbar buttons, these change their position depending on how many abilities are on cooldown, costing you the benefit of visual memory.

I swithed to using a cooldown bar instead — CoolLine. Try this out ;P

I'm looking for an addon that will "compress" the debuffs on my target frame so it shows only one of each instead of 5 x unstable affliction if i raid with 5 warlocks.

Mirror Image and threat meters

I'm looking for a threat meter that allows for threat readings during Mirror Image (MI). I've been using Mythreat for this, but ever since the 4.0.3 patch, it returns a value of 0 for my current threat while MI is up, only to spike back up to the 'expected' value after MI ends. I can't always rely on the tank being above me on threat by the time Mirror Image ends, so I'm looking for an alternative.

I know Omen3 has a feature of 'guessing' MI threat while it's up, but I really like the simplistic way Mythreat uses. Sadly Omen3 seems to be the only add-on that gives semi-accurate readings of MI threat. Is there an add-on out there that has both Omen3's functionality with MI threat, but with the simplistic look of add-ons like Mythreat?

@Gogusrl: While you can filter out debuffs that only you yourself cast, or are capable of casting, with most of the major buff mods (Raven / Elkano's / Satrina's), I'm not sure that the API Blizzard has made available to authors has the exact functionality you're talking about. However, it -is- possible to simply use WeakAuras or PowerAuras to show one icon depending on multiple debuffs, i.e. show an icon if Unstable Affliction is up, regardless of the source, or one if -any- of the overlapping spell crit / damage taken debuffs are up and so forth.

@Aul: Have you tried the threat module in Skada at all?

Does anyone know of a simple soul shard display addon? I use Stuf for my unitframes, so swapping to something else for my unitframes is out, I'd just like a nice little stand-alone addon to do the same thing. Before you recommend ShardWatch, I unfortunately can't use it because it uses /sw command which I use frequently for the in-game stopwatch for macros, and I would also prefer if it's customizable by ButtonFacade. If such an addon exists!

While I'm at it, if anyone have any suggestions for addons that makes for a neater StopWatch (I don't use anything else from the default Blizzard UI so it looks out of place!) I'd be much obliged. Mainly just aesthetics, the functionality I'm perfectly happy with.

Thanks in advance.

If your only problem with ShardWatch is the /command, you can manually edit that in ShardWatch.lua.

On last line change:
SLASH_SHARDWATCH2 = "/sw";
To (for example):
SLASH_SHARDWATCH2 = "/shw";
This part is optional as long as you can remember you changed the command to /shw
If you want to be thorough you should also change the help message lines that are 6-10 lines from bottom to:
SW_Msg('/shw scale # - where # is between 1 and 200 (default 100)');
		SW_Msg('/shw toggle - turns ShardWatch on and off');
		SW_Msg('/shw reset - resets ShardWatch');
		SW_Msg('/shw lock - locks/unlocks ShardWatch');
I tested the changed /shw command on my level 83 warlock and it seemed to work just fine.
