A while back the developer of TankTotals posted a note about not being able to continue with the update. Does anyone know if:

a. that project has been taken over by anyone
b. there exists another mod like TankTotals that calculated the same thing

TT was a great mod, would love to have it back.

It's basically a short term dps meter, that shows the last 30 or 60 seconds incoming and outgoing dps. I like it because it's small enough that I can put it in a easy to see location and it helps me in real time have an idea if I'm not screwing something up by letting me know if my dps and implied dps deltas are where they should be for that point in the fight.

I'm curious if there are other mods that do the same thing but don't have all the extra tracking info thus being more lightweight.
(I also don't know how often this mod will get updated, it's currently broken in 4.1)

All mods that parse the combat log will have to be updated for 4.1.
If you're a bit savvy in LUA editing, you can do it yourself.

Look for an entry similar to this:
function CombatLogOnEvent(timestamp, event, sourceGUID, sourceName, ...)

and add one new argument to the function call, named "hideCaster":
function CombatLogOnEvent(timestamp, event, hideCaster, sourceGUID, sourceName, ...)

(Of course the names of the function call and/or the arguments will not be 100% accurate, but I rely on your common sense here.)


Most times that's the only change needed to make an addon work again. It can occur more than once though.
And no, I won't give you any help in editing one specific addon because you are NOT savvy enough.

You can customize buff notifications and cooldowns pretty much any way you can imagine using Raven.

Yo guys, im playing my mage once more, but cant recall what mod i used to use in ICC. What it did was very very simple, it gave me a % on my mana and health in digits, that i could move around wherever i wanted on the screen. As you can see in this old recorded movie, i got it straight above my action bars, now if someone could give me a hint or even an answer to what the name of this addon, or anything that does the same thing, i would be thrilled. Im usually not that advanced when it comes to my ui, actually i usually as u can see, ends up with a mess, but i have everything i need.

I'm looking for an addon that is capable of displaying deaths in raid. I don't mean announces to the raid, but after a wipe, for example, I'm able to see how/when the person died. It doesn't have to be able to announce to the raid. I recall an addon that could do this, but I can't remember the name for the life of me. Something like Death Note - WoW AddOns - WowAce.com would be ideal. Though I don't really like the feel/look of that. Thanks in advance.

Acheron - Addons - Curse Will do what you want it to. There is some minor tweaking to make it work with 4.1, but its extremely simple and outlined in the comments. For the sake of posterity (and just in case that comment gets buried) here's the fix for 4.1, spoilered for wall o' text.

Skada also shows deaths, has been improved a little bit lately, too. It's not awesome, but saves you the other performance hogs (both DN and acheron are really heavy wrt performance).

There is a fan updated DXE floating around Wowace when I looked last, but the author was really slow with updating the timers. I'm not aware of any skins that exist for DBM/BW that looks like DXE, but I'm sure someone could write one.
