You don't need an Addon to do that. Esc -> Keybindings -> "toggle Minimap" bind wahtever key you like

I'm new to the wow scene, and I would like to know what a few of the addon's are in the second half (interface changes halfway through) of this video linked directly below.

What scrolling battle text addon does he use? That Mik's right?
What spell buff/cooldown addon is that under the mini map?
Which cast bar addon is he using? An older/customized version of Natur Enemy Castbar? I like that cartoony style a lot.
Finally what unit frame addon is that? I love how those look as well. Is that a highly customized Pitbull?

Came across someone on the PTR with the most useful mod in the world. It reads the main tank list from oRA2, and automatically assigns raid icons to the tanks. Whenever one of the tanks in the list switches target, it moves the mark.

Immensely useful for assist trains, and also for (e.g.) making sure all Hydross's adds are tanked.

Anyone know what this mod is?

I'm not sure if this mod exists, but I'm looking for a mod that tells me who's healing me(and me only), what spell they are using, and maybe see a casting bar for that heal. As a feral druid, I'd find this information useful. Thanks.

I believe what you're looking for is a mod called align. You can find it at wowinterface.com

Mods cannot directly interact with the game, i.e. place circles on the ground to indicate range from the target.

However displaying a number based on your distance from the target is possible - Simple Range Indicator | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com

Can someone recommend a good questing/questlog mod? I haven't leveled anything since my main hit 70 and don't really know whats out there for this sort of thing.

Does anyone know the actual font used for the default Blizzard combat text ? My friends with clean WoW installs and no fonts mod don't actually -have- a /fonts folder and my searches have turned up nothing. According to the clearfont2 website, modding your fonts creates a /fonts directory and these four files :

* FRIZQT__.ttf (the main UI font)
* ARIALN.ttf (the normal number font)
* skurri.ttf (the 'huge' number font)
* MORPHEUS.ttf (Mail, Quest Log font)

So in theory i should be able to switch ARIALN and skurri for the original font, making sure i rename and all will be good. I just need to know that font name !


I tried a search but only found one thread on the topic that was several months old, and nothing else relevant so i figured it easier to post here. Appologies if i missed something obvious.

I have recently been redesigning my interface and whatnot, and it's almost complete other than a cool down mod. I have one in mind (it's used in this movie: Helvetica 2 SPriest PVP). You'll notice as the the cool down is up the ability enlarges and then shrinks back into place, it might be an option for a cool down mod, in which case I must've missed it somewhere. Otherwise, if you know what it is, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am new to these boards,

I am looking for a mod where i can move by buff icons around individually and resize them. The reason for this is i want to move my Slice and Dice buff icon (only) to somewhere other than the top right of my screen because as a combat rogue, it would be more convenient. Thanks in any advance for any help.

How do I change the font over other party members/mobs/etc? I cant get mine to change from the lame red default blizzard ones .

Is there any mod to show an enemies spell lock (from felhunter) or mage counterspell cooldown, preferably when not targeting the player it shows the cooldown?

I've tried NECB and Antagonist, but neither show spell lock or counterspell.

Any ideas to help my Paladin friend?

Any mod that can substitute a background texture for tooltips will allow that, Skinner and Cowtip are two examples.

Looking for a raid position mod.


Since we structure our raids depending on which boss we fight, does anyone know of a mod that re-orginizes people in the raid based on a drop down/saved setting.


drop downs might have Gruul, King, Mag, ...

and which ever dropdown I selected, it would position everyone based on saved info

Work's a treat - resets all cooldowns come CS or silence etc.

okay i am not sure what exactly im looking for i know move anything works like this but i am not happy overall with the set up with that mod i would like to move when i scroll over things were the text box appears as of now at default it shows up in the bottom right corner i have no idea how else to word this thanks in advance

It sounds like you want to relocate the tooltip. I use CT_Core for this purpose.
