I find that Uberquestlog and Lightheaded work with me the best. But even if you stick with a different quest log, I still suggest Lightheaded. It's a great mod that helps with quests by giving you information about the mobs, location of any item or NPC's you need to find, the next part of the quest chain, possible quests to do with the quest you're currently doing. However most of the information (rather, all of it) comes from Wowhead.com's commentors.

Uber Quest Log is just my personal favorite out of the bunches, no real particular reason, I just enjoy it. Sadly, it's 'Minion' (also known as the quest tracker) doesn't replace Blizzard's default quest tracker since the last patch :-(

By the way, if you do happen to get Lightheaded (again strongly recommended) please veer away from Bayl's Quest Log as Lightheaded doesn't work with that particular mod (don't know about problems with any other quest mod). :-)

I used Doublewide with Lightheaded in conjunction with Metamap to plot out the waypoints.

I am looking for a mod that will track the uptime of a buff in combat. Does such a thing exist? Specifically the proc from 4pc t5 mage set.

Uptime Meter should be what you're looking for.

Wouldn't it be great if you could paste a list of names, and then auto-invite everyone on that list to a raid? I've used macros for this, but unfortunately, 25 names do not fit in a 255 character macro. Is there a tiny addon that can do this? And I know ORA can invite everyone in the guild based on level or zone or rank, but I really need to specify a list of people, then use this. I've searched wowace and curse for "raid invite" addons, but no one seems to be able to do this!

Is there a mod along the lines of Recount/Recap/SWStats that can show me stats on my sources of mana regen? I vaguely recall someone posting a screenshot of a neat Recount-style pie chart of this but I have no idea what mod it was from.

The only charting function of a mod that I'm aware of is the one in Recount.

I loved TC2, but it hasn't been updated in like 7 months and the values you get are inaccurate. I also believe that the development of this mod has ceased.

Dr. Damage is a nice alternative but i do miss TC2.

Can anybody identify the addon that is the top frame here? Obviously the other ones are recount and omen.

I'm looking for an addon that allows me to keep my tradeskills/hearthstone and things of that nature on an invisible bar that will pop up on key-press. Essentially I don't want my UI cluttered by my out-of-combat trade icons. Any suggestions?

Possibly Trinity bars sounds like what you're after, you can assign an action bar to show up on a press of ctrl, alt, or shift. You can also make it so that they don't appear in combat and have different button arrangements. Sadly, however, the way to move the bars and such isn't as straight forward as people would like, but the pro for that is it has tremendous amounts of control over the placement, look, and feel of your actionbars.

Unfortunately, SCL doesn't do this.

I can add a "Watch" for a specific person (or multiple people). But that shows you everything that happens to the person, which is mostly spam.

SCL will let me filter by event for things like "Focus" and "Target", which might work, except it won't show "Hits" (ie. incoming damage) for "Focus", which is really the only way I could use it. And that is still is rather limited by only letting me log a single target.

I could do this myself with the actual combat log that is generated, however it is cached and only written to the file every so often, not in real time.

To Darlal auto bar has all of those functions on multiple customizable pop up bars. It also handles different class specific abilities now too.

Nurfed Combat Log was capable of doing this ages ago. I wasn't using Nurfed mods for a long time, but I think you should give it a try.

I've searched everything I could think of looking for this, but I just can't seem to find it.

XPerl UF used to (probably still does, I haven't used it in a while) recolor the information in your guild pane, depending on class, level and location.

Is there a stand-alone mod that also does this?

There was a mod a year back or so called accountant which kept track of gold incoming, outgoing, spent on training, repairs etc, and it tracked it per character or per account. This addon is no longer being updated from the looks of it.


Anyone know of a good addon to track money like this?

If you already use Bartender, why dont you use Bartender3's ability to hide bars until you mouse-over?

On the following pic of Ryas' UI, what is the mod which allows the quest tracking to be moved and reformatted (in the top left next to the minimap) ?
