I wanna do the slick UI dance, but ill need a "mouseover-mod" for the addons not consumable by FuBar... Like raidframes and such...

The general idea is to have as little as possible shown on the UI and keep most "On demand" by e.g. pull your cursor to the side of the screen, where something then pops in... like a tab...

I know i've had a mod like this before... Used it together with teh epic FlexBar, but cant find it

Some other questions remain:

1.) Can I get a timer on my minimap with Squeenix mod or do I need another addon for that?

2.) I like to use Pittbull unitframes for my Target frame, but I dont like the layout, is it possible to customise that? Preferably to give it the same looks as the ones I have for my aguf-customised uf.

3.) It seems I cannot disbale the tooltip on my spells. Anyone knows a way / addon to do that?

Just wondering, is there a wardrobe type mod that'll switch on my spirit weapon and wand when I evocate, and switch my spelldamage ones back when evocation is over?

No, youll need a macro from the mage forums.. But afaik it is not possible for an addon to "switch back" - and then, MountMe doest it with riding crop and such..

Actually, ClosetGnome_Switcher can switch back to a set you were wearing previously -- and it has a module for a mage's evocate.

It's an Ace mod, but it requires the core ClosetGnome to operate.

Im wondering if this exists. A mod that takes your chars data, +hit, +crit +dmg, everything. Basicaly taking the data you would get from your spreadsheet from these forums then turns it into an in game thing that would allow you to chose which gear you could equip to best improve your character.

There is a mod by the name of DrDamage which is similar to what you're thinking about. It gives you detailed information on spells in their tooltips, including marginal gains from hit, crit, and +damage. It doesn't quite tell you what to do, but it can certainly help you in doing some quick math yourself to optimize your gear. It's an Ace2 mod:

Switch Bartender out of locked ActionBars mode. Right click the bar in question > Button Paging > Modifiers > Alt/Ctrl/Shift > Select the bar to display. Now, hide the bar.

Because using the button modifiers will simply reveal a bar, you can have a bar reveal itself when the modifier it pressed. Good luck.

Spellcraft. I haven't used in a while, but I assume it's just as good now as it was then.

Thanks, sorta kinda what im after. Just looking for something that will tell me at a glance if somethings an upgrade or not. Gear wise based on all the information in the Spreadsheet. Its a pain to try and plug in numbers while their taking DKP bids, I suppose ill just have to do it before hand and pick out which gear id like to get.

Is there a mod available that is able to track buffs, such as healing way (once it's reached the third stack) and ancestral healing, that are refreshed before they expire? Since it's not reported in the combat log when it's refreshed, mods like Natur Enemy Castbar don't refresh the timer. Are there any mods that keep track of this and refresh the timer when a spell that stacks/refreshes the buff lands?

If you apply it to a target and it's your stack you should be able to see e.g. Ancestral healing timer bar / clock counter(at least pibull and quartz)

Yes, everything in Pitbull is 100% customizable (You just have to hunt around for the right thing to change sometimes).

shut off enhanced tooltips (might actually be called detailed tooltips, I forget) in your interface options.

It takes some configuring, but have you tried ItemValues, or Pawn?

They both do Tank Points/Heal Points/AEP style comparisons of gear (ie. assign each piece of gear a single number based on its stats). The only issue with these mods is that you must configure them yourself, and by that I mean tell them how much each stat is worth to you.

I am really at a dead end here, guys. I've made this sweet downscaled UI, which becomes a cluster of useless windows when in a raid. Being a DPS warrior, i dont really need all that info on raids, only in some situations and only very sporadic.

Does anyone know where to find a mouseover-mod, to make things disappear out of the UI until the cursor points at their hotspot an the edge of the screen?

I don't believe it's possible for the same reason an EM or decursive aren't possible. Unless I am mistaken, dynamic windows cannot created in combat. Although, now that I think about it, I don't see why they can't be hid/revealed, assuming they are not created/removed.

Speaking of the minimap, what map mod is that? I recently switched over to using Simple Minimap for the square map, but the minimap icons are still in the positions they would normally be in if the map was a circle.

there is a mod called DetachedMiniButtons available on curse gaming that allows you to move minimap buttons wherever. Visor2 will also allow moving of basically any frame you can imagine, but it is way more complicated.

Outfitter works great. I switched over to it from ItemRack and have been very happy with it.
