I`m looking for an addon that will monitor my cooldowns (items + spells) and will show them as Icons. I found a lot of them that use bars for display but only one with icons (Dottimer and this one doesn`t do everything i want).
I was watching a video of Zul'Jin to see what all my friends fuss was about when i noticed this addon the mage had...
I cant seem to screenshot it, it comes up as a black screen so if you could spare the time you only have to watch the first 30 seconds of the movie to see it in action.
It looks like scrolling combat text, but much different, "7014 Flamestrike(5 Hits, 2 Crits)" that is the sort of thing i am looking for.
Thank you for taking the time to read this Anguish downs Zul'jin - AOL Video Heres the link
Help me replace AutoBar. I'm fed up. It used to be so awesome, now it forgets buttons (I think its got an algorithim to "guess" what buttons I want but now I have to add new ones and I can't rename them and there is no "button bank" to pick from. Also there is Mounts: Flying and Mounts (which oddly enough doesn't include flying), but there is no "all mounts". Yet my mage HAS that button, I can't get it on any of my alts and I've used every single selection on "New Button"
Anyway. All I want is a button bar, resizable, that i can "stack" rollover bars on. I want it to LOOK and WORK like AutoBar...I don't even mind placing the icons into the bars manually.
Also, I just noticed that I have an Autobar config mod, maybe my beef is with that rather than the mod itself. Any ideas?
I use bongos for my regular bars but haven't figured out how to make them do any popups or anything.
Thanks in advance for any help!!
The autobar author went through some large rewrites of the config system. And very rarely made them backwards compatible. Update it to the latest version. And then while WoW is closed, remove your autobar saved variables files out of your WTF profile directory.
There have been a few revisions of autobar online that were seriously screwed. Most issues have been fixed though, and it works better than ever for me now.
1) I'm currently using Bartender3, and I want to be able to have a different bar-setup for when I respec (for example on my druid I want to have a saved setup for feral and resto). I've tried using the Profiles in Bartender itself, but these don't seem to work (although maybe I'm just doing something wrong!)
2) I saw a screenshot somewhere of a raid leader (using what looked like an addon-automated output) posting to /ra the people with only one elixir and without a Well Fed buff. I had an addon previously that tracked elixirs (ElixirPoints possibly?), but I'm especially interested in tracking Well Fed.
For bonus points, I would also be able to save the state of the raid's elixir/food usage to a file for future examination.
Edit: I found the screenshot of the buff tracking - Elixir/Well Fed tracking
Edit again:
3) Thought of another nice addon I saw somewhere - it modified the loot frames and had a "Link All" button (for presumably linking all the items in /ra".
Thanks in advance for the help!

Reason: thought of a third addon...
I'm looking for two different addons...

This can be achieved by explicitly setting a bar for each stance (or in the druid's case: form). For the main action bar (actionbar1) you can accomplish the same thing by binding keys that will swap the contents of a preferred setup into that bar's slots. I don't mean a regular paging modifier --that would require you to hold it down-- such as shift or ctrl, but rather something bound that you'd only need to hit once to swap the bar. It may be the best you'll get from BT3 or Bongos.

That would get me part of the way to where I want to go I think - however when I respec back and forth I want the spells/abilities to not get lost (ie when I spec from feral->resto->feral I want something that will still have Mangle in the right place when I get it back)
Different Profiles working like a charm for me.
Maybe I'll have to try them again - I realise this isn't a Bartender problems thread, but what I tried to do was use the Copy Profile thing from my base profile to two separate profiles (Feral and Resto) and then modified each of them as I wanted; changes to one also changed the other, though.
The "mangle is not at the right spot after a respec"-problem is rather related to blizzard storing the bottom left, bottom right, top left, top right bar server-side afaik. Starting with a cleared bar, using only bars 5-10 should resolve that problem, though i never tried. You would have to setup shifting states, stance bars etc manually though.
If it works for you, it would be great to know. I might go through the hassle with my shadowpriest then

The buff monitoring mod is Big Brother in that screenshot.
The loot mod you are talking about is XLoot.

This is maybe too hackish for you, but you could get around Mangle going away when you respec by creating a macro for it and putting it in the slot. If you have the macro slots available, that's most likely the simplest way to avoid losing your keys, since the macro won't cease to exist just because the skill isn't in your spellbook.
Just do a simple
#showtooltip Mangle(Bear)
/cast Mangle(Bear)
I'm looking for a mod that'll detect if a Windfury Totem has been dropped by a shaman in the group. I've only seen mods so far that watch the timers for totems for the shaman that casted them and spell alert mods that only detect hostile casts.

Probably not going to find a mod that does that. You can do one of two things that I can think of though. You can have the shaman in question (I'm assuming you're concerned that he's not dropping Windfury often enough?) macro his windfury totem so that it sends you a /tell or announces in party/raid that he's got the totem down. The totem itself doesn't do a gain on the party, but it does send a chat message of "Shaman performs Windfury Totem V" that you could hand edit a mod to look for.
Hello, I've been searching for a few mods for a while, mainly this is my dilemma (would be very appreciative of any input&help, so let me thank you all in advance!)
First off, I've seen an addon that reports when an ability is ready. Such as "Prayer of Mending ready!" while putting it in something that looks like (or perhaps is) the SCT Message frame. In short, an addon that will report when all my personal cooldowns are ready.
Secondly, I'd like to have another addon for SCT which would show gains and the like for enemies. Such as when a paladin gets divine shield, someone uses their insignia of the alliance etc. I've seen this and I had a working version of this a long time ago, but have since then lost it.
And the final & most sought after mod I'm looking for, something that is like this: http://www.ourworkisneverover.net/wo...s/serennia.jpg if you check out this screenshot you'll notice that he has a raid warning that alerts his group whenever the enemies warlock has his Spell lock ready. I've heard that this addon can be called 'MagicTrack' but I have yet to be able to find it on the net.
Any input is very appreciated, thank you all for your time.

Cooldowns are implemented into MSBT, the spell gains can be done with Witchhunt, can't help you on the last one
Looking for a combat fader thinger. Pitbull's likes to freak blink out on me and give me seizures. Would also like one for Bongos. I've heard of vFade and Fader but haven't been able to find 'em.
Something I'm interested in is a mod that notifies my party of cooldown remaining on certain things like Bloodlust or Drums of Battle, is there something like that out there?
[e] Not just a "hey I just used this ability" mod, but one that will do /party %Time remaining on next bloodlust"
