I copied the layout from Kerp in his Kael'thas video, then added my own touches.



Now, I already use Pitbull UF and Grid, just not like this guy does. I love how Grid is set up in the bottom right corner, the map in the bottom middle, and how the whole bottom area is blacked out.

I'm a total noob when it comes to UI's, and was wondering if anyone is bored enough to help talk me through this. Whether here on the forums, vent, AIM, anything-- Any help would be greatly appriciated.

What is the mod that blacks out the bottom area of the screen? The mod that brings the map to the bottom of the screen, and the mod that has all the consumables on its own bar?

Is there a mod exactly like Eavesdrop, but that lets me set it to monitor the main tank instead of myself?

Also, what addon is use to reposition your buff? I like the standard blizzard buffs, but now that I've moved my map to the bottom they look out of place.

Either Depot or Skinner (both Ace) will do that. Depot has only the bar as its function, while skinner can actually shrink the entire viewable game screen into a "view port" so you're not missing things on the screen, but it is much larger and has other functions that you may or may not want.

The best minimap mod I've used is simpleMinimap (Ace). Squeenix (also Ace) is decent, as well, but simpleMinimap does cool stuff like let you hide the map button, etc.

Probably Bartender3 (Ace) or some similar bar mod. Bartender three is great and easy to set up. He probably just takes an empty bar and fills it up. It isn't as if Bartender will actually put your consumables on a bar. You've gotta figure that part out on your own.

Buffalo (Ace) is probably what you're looking for.

What's the bar on the right hand side just above the minimap showing available cooldowns?

coolDown would be the mod on the left hand side above the chat frame. I'm asking about the bar above the minimap on the right hand side.

For clarity:

Sorry, I got confused. That's just a regular bar that he's dragged the skills to.

It's not an addon (which was what I thought you were looking for).

Just get a bartender bar (or bar mod of your choice) and drag your skills to it, then activate cooldowncount or similar mod and you've got it.

Simple solutions are the best solutions.

This is what I thought it was initially, also, but judging by the fact that he has those buttons on his actionbars, as well, I think it may actually be something else.

It might be something, but I'm hesitant.

I used to do it to have the "key skills" at a glance. But if you look at the picture, CloS and WotF aren't on CD, and they're not in the bar, which leads me to believe it's not an addon.

It might be some action bar with an option to hide the button if the skill isn't available?

My best guess is just a regular bar dragged out and skills put in it though.

Worst case, armory Ihqdaa (can't be to many druids with that name) and make an alt to ask Mr Cu.

I don't know about the totem timers, but the Earth Shield-addon is called Earth Shield Tracker or ESTracker.

The totem timer looks like YATA (ace2 mod)

Trying to figure out what mod he has to make his castbar look like that (where hes casting Mind Vision Rank 2).
