I've been searching for a mod which will allow me to play certain sound files when certain events occur. To be more specific, I'm looking for a mod that will alert me when I'm stunned, slowed, poisoned, etc. with individual sounds for each. Idealy it would allow me to play sound files I recorded myself, so I could simply record myself saying "Stunned", and when I'm stunned I'd hear myself alert.. me.

Don't know what font that is but the chat tabs are Fane.

I am using fane and prat, not sure about minichat though.

But by looking at fane's code, I would say yes, they work together.

I'm pretty sure you can do custom sounds too, but it might take some work.

Parrot (Ace) and MSBT, maybe SCT now too, can all do Triggers that play sounds as well as display text when you get a debuff or buff, among other events.

Sorry about that. The link I posted requires that you have an svn account with wowace.com. Just grab the standard RangeDisplay addon from wowace here:

http://files.wowace.com/RangeDisplay/RangeDisplay.zip

Extract it and install it.

Then download this file:

RangeDisplay.lua - FileFront.com

And copy it over the RangeDisplay.lua file in the addon directory.

/Rangedisplay doesn't seem to do anything...

I don't see any indicator. I downloaded all of the libraries that the wowace wiki says to get, but it still isn't working.

I was looking at the carnivores site with the zean UI, and ... even if you do get it translated from korean to english you need a residence number just to register with the loggin site. I did this by using bable fish instead of google translator it seemed to have better results, but anyways.. unless we know a korean resident were kinda screwed on that front.

You can register as an out of Korean resident. I actually got all the way through the process and had a phone call from an automated system, but I couldn't understand the message to write it into the confirmation box

I've made a few changes since the last post, but mostly just positioning. I would have liked to put borders on the raid frames, however eepanels was a little buggy with them. There are probably a few tweaks that can still be made (move the minimap/meter/log?) but this should be enough for anyone who is interested in using it. that ui is very very nice, what mod are you using to have your spell damage/crit/haste displayed like that ?

I quoted myself explaining my UI in that post above, but yes its StatBlock's CasterStats but modified (+5% crit to show Devastation.)

I have recently been looking around for a mod that will track the raid for who is not (or alternatively, is) using potions in raid groups. Anyway that I don't have to do this by hand (clicking on each person and looking threw their buffs for the potion icons). Hopefully something simplistic and user friendly. Thank you in advance

one that comes to my mind is BigBrother... it has a pretty good overview with Flask/Guardian/Battle/Food aswell als the normal raidbuffs and paladin blessings. might be the right one for you, thekirin64

That black bar that spans across the bottom of his UI is called a Viewport. You can have that Viewport from an addon called skinner found on wowace.

Skinner is not a Viewport addon. Thats something else.
Aperture IS a viewport addon.

Depends what you want to know. I do still use a modified TipTac taken from Roth (Zork).
But in the options all should be clear, both mana and health bar are enabled. Changed the texture. Target at the above line. Show who's targetting the current mob. Disable Health and mana text in the bars. That's about it I think.

Hey guys,

Not a mod question per se, but is it possible to bind a key (or in my case, mousewheel) to target;

a) Mouse Up: Scroll through party members;
b) Mouse Down: Scroll through enemy targets (on Proximo).
