I use Pitbull and Recount and get this bug. Alt-z clears it up for me though.

I have this same bug happen whenever I invite a specific member of my guild into group. He is a druid if that matters at all. I run Pitbull and I DO NOT run Recount. I update my Ace addons on a daily basis. The first time it happened was about 3 weeks ago, the last time was about 2 days ago. To fix it I do the same thing as posted before, ALT-Z, ALT-Z.

I have the same error occasionally, i'm using both recount and pitbull too.
It is definately something to do with a group, as I only get it when joining a group generally. I normally get rid of it by leaving the group and asking for a reinvite.

I got the same issue, it only happens when i get invited into a party, but not each invite.
I always get a black part, never saw any other color like white as the OP shows in a screenshot.
I usually get rid of it by opening the map (Cartographer)
And i use Pitbull, but not Recount and play most of the time in a maximized window.

My guess it's one of the druids Buffs, Maybe lotp fading? (As both are druids in caster form) Or maybe they are in tree/moonkin form Most likely moonkin for, might be those buffs not being showed correctly? Try testing that by partying with a moonkin druid, and let him jump in and out of moonkin form and file a feedback form to the pitbull team.

I've had this bug also - it happened in AB when new members were added to the raid group. It's definately Pitbull related - not sure if I had Recount installed at the time.
For me it blacked out from the third raid group (I had 3 groups at the top left corner, expanding down) to right and bottom of the screen. I moved the raid group around a bit and this got solved each time, but the blackening occured 4-5 times at least.

The druid that causes the error in my situation is feral.

I've had this happen to me with only two Mages in a team, in the city after coming out of battlegrounds. (It could be that there was a Druid in my Battleground team before I left, though...I don't know.)
However, I have seen this happen for sure without any relationship to Druids, as I was in a 5v5 arena team which was Rogue/Mage/Warlock/Warrior/Priest and had this happen multiple times after returning back to Ironforge.

It's definitely Pitbull, I changed over from ag_uf to Pitbull a few days ago and started getting this bug the same day.
I can say for sure that it's not strictly due to druid party auras, as I've had it happen on raids, and there's not a single raiding druid in my guild with leader of the pack, moonkin aura, or tree of life. I use a whole slew of other ace mods (dozens) so there's certainly a possibility of conflict. Mods that I use that the shaman who convinced me to try Pitbull (and has no problems) doesn't include Expiration, PallyPower, TankPoints, and possibly RatingBuster.
Honestly though, I think it's just a pure problem with Pitbull. The addon seems to have a bunch of glitchy components.

I've never ever had this problem with Pitbull, although you people with the problem might be using different features than me. It's quite astonishing, though.

I have seen this bug as well, but I usually let it go away on its own. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I use Pitbull but not Recount. I do have auras displayed on the party (and raid) frames and include my unit frame with the rest of the party. It happens on my 29 battlegrounds twink, so it's not a moonkin issue, nor is it strictly party frames. It may still be druid related. The fact that it goes away on its own (eventually, sometimes takes a while) indicates to me that it's not a form or aura buff causing it, but something that can expire. I hope this helps narrow it down.

I've had the same problem, I also use pitbull and not recount. I've noticed that it frequently recolors the bottom half of my screen with the class color of the person who most recently joined a raid group. This doesn't happen always, perhaps it's a mod that the other players are using that's interfering with pitbull?
Just for reference, I am not using pitbull raid frames, they're disabled. I'm using Sraidframes.

I've had the same problem, but it went different colors (like pink and so..) it is a Pitbull bug for sure, and i fixed it by 'reinstalling" pitbull and not overwriting with new versions and so.

I've had a variant of this for over a year now. I've had it happen off and on since the AQ40 days when I first got my second monitor, on two different video cards and 2 different hardware configurations. It happens if you drag any window over a maximized windowed WoW window, and anything from the top of the window you drag over it down goes wonky, usually a frozen frame of WoW from some time several minutes before. It happens with Alt+Tab as well because of the little frame Alt+Tab puts on the screen. Mine goes away as soon as the window in question is moved (or the Alt+Tab box goes away) and it's never been a solid color, so mine is a bit different. It's some kind of video card issue, though I've had no luck finding out what to do about it for quite some time now. My problem is obviously not Pitbull specific since it's happened for a year-ish, but maybe some of the draw methods that some mods use contributes to it, I don't know. Anyone else experience this with multiple monitors?

My setup is dual monitor as well. I use Aperture to narrow viewport to left screen only. Interesting that it happens with sraidframes when Pitbull is loaded but raid frames disabled. It would still seem Pitbull related, I wonder if ckknight is aware of this thread.

I've had this bug since I ran a Wowace update yesterday. Before that, I've been having the same Pitbull bug lots of other people have seen - a Buff aura icon replaces various other Pitbull frames (usually grossly distorted/expanded). Since I updated, I get the lower portion of my screen covered either in black or translucent grey.
I'm suspicious this is actually a graphics driver bug, or if it's not a driver bug then it's a bug in the renderer caused by differences in the render path based on hardware. I can't see how else some people are having problems and some aren't.
Me, I'm using an nVidia 7950GT based card, WinXP driver version 93.81. What hardware are other folks using who have this problem?
