He I started writing on that a couple months back but put it on ice cause i discovered DOTA =D It would show a timeline and show who gained anything or used anything (casts, mana pots, health pots etc). Most of that information is shown in assessment/recount in a condensed form though (how many pots have been used etc).

I'm not interrested in the rest of the raid :-P
i can imagine that it is also handy for other classes.

NVM, XRaidStatus, is all i need.
except it doesn't check poisons
i'll google more.

XRS doesn't check food and consumables (elixirs/flasks) does it? It just check's regular class spellups like Fort/Mark of the Wild, etc.
I use BigBrother for the first part. Unless i'm using XRS improperly?

(not wanting to change subjects, but had to ask)
I was wondering what RLs use to sort and switch bloodlust groups during a raid? I have searched through countless mods, but none appear to work in combat. I have also failed to get a macro which properly switches people around in groups.
Currently I move players around the old fashion way - but this can become tedious. Obviously, you want your top 4 dps getting all your bloodlusts in a raid - but cross-buffing often throws a wrench (at least for me) into it. BLing the feral druid in the rogue group would be a waste, as would trying to fit your 4 highest dps in a single group.
Some fights it isn't an issue, but other fights I find that I am too busy tanking or leading the raid.
So long story short - what do all the other raid leads use to remedy this situation? I have a sneaky suspicion there's something deceptively easy that I'm missing.

( kinda offtopic question, but i can't create separate thread due to "10 posts requirement" )
I'd like to ask about raid planning. I've already searched for similiar thread and found 1year old one, but there isn't enough information in it. Also, i don't like "necroposting".
Currently we use a forum thread for next raid signup, that really doesn't work as intended.
I'm thinking about :
1) external web application like phpraid, raidninja, etc
pros:
- easily integrated with guildsite
- accessible from anywhere w/ internet w/o the need for wow client
cons:
- alt-tabbing is evil
- there're a lot of people, who dislike forums and spend much more time in game
2) in-game solution like G.E.M., Group Calender or Combine
pros:
- accessible in-game and stuff like that
cons:
- installation needed
To be honest, i don't have enough time for experiments and it's boring as heck, especially for web-based solutions. So, is it worth the effort? If yes, what do you use ?

Our current raiding mod package is as follows:
ORA2
BigWigs Boss Mods
SRaidFrames (notifies you easily about who's in shadow / moonkin / whatever form. If the hybrids won't pop a heal to save the raid when they really need to, then they're not doing their job)
Omen
Recount
BigBrother.
XRS is nice, but there's really nothing it tells you that your raid frames and BigBrother can't. Then again, both our raid lead, and myself are healers, so we're used to having all those bars on the screen. It's become second nature.
EDIT: HealOrganizer2 is nice for getting things sorted on most fights, but it lacks the functionality to describe healing waterfalls such as you run up against in fights like Magtheridon, where tanks require progressively more healing to survive.

Our MainAssist rogue last night on Kael'Thas had a macro to swap another shaman in for a 2nd bloodlust on the weapons, I'll ask what it was.

That would be awesome. I can't seem to swap groups around at all in combat (is it a raid leader only function, or can assists do it?) From various threads, I've read that it's either no longer possible since patch 2.xx or there's some mod that taints the raid frames and makes it impossible to switch groups in combat.

You can still do it while in combat and all you need is assist. There are some mods out there that probably lock up the frames while in combat, but I don't use said mods.
I usually move shamans around for bloodlust manually, but we also have some custom mods that will move groups around based on pre-arranged sets which can be useful for some Hyjal trash/bosses.

I had the same issue with not being able to bring up the Social window during combat in a raid environment and discovered it was because of the mod MoveAnything. Disabling it allows me to open the social window in raid combat.

Any chance you were willing to share these mods? Those features sound incredibly useful imo. I of coarse understand if you want it to stay in your guild only.

I am just getting into the game of doing some of the RL duties (all of the officers share these) and I am the data-maven so I run a number of addons:
BigBrother -- I love the way it prints misdirects and sheep breaks to chat. The buffcheck is good (and since everyone is sorted by class easy to see missing pally buffs). The reporting on flasks is cumbersome in a raid where not everyone uses consumables at that level.
pDebufflist -- I absolutely love this mod for tracking curses. I still need to configure the updated version to track JoW and JoL (although I can tell when JoW falls off from SCT).

Get Demon, version 2 of pDebuffLift. It has an interface for adding spells.

So far at least the template-creations works. If the rest works too will be seen this evening, but by now it doesn't seem to be unfunctional.

As of 2.0 it is not possible for addons to move players in and out of groups while in combat.

If you are interested in expanding that a bit, Assessment (from files.wowace.com) combined those functions with a Threatmeter and a Damagemeter, it's what I've been using to track these things.
Further I use oRA2 and XRS for raidleading.

Apologies, I did check with him and although he had said "I have a macro that swaps people in the raid groups" during the raid, he told me a few days ago that he does it by hand. I guess he was just mixed up when he was talking in chat to me about it.
