I don't know if you use CowTip since you didn't mention it, but I had the same issue before and it was actually a setting on CowTip under Show Tooltips. I had to set it to always show unit frames.

Hi.
I have a serious problem with grid, not sure if this is the place to post though. Anyways here it comes.

On every computer I install grid on, with GridStatusRaidDebuff the debuffs never show up in the raids. This is catashtropic, I can never see any debuffs in the raids. It works fine in heroics and in the normal world, but when I enter BT or MH (or any other raid instance) grid never shows the debuffs. Since im getting this problem every time I try to reinstall it, surely more ppl must have the same and know about a fix. It used to work on one computer a little while ago but doesnt work there either anymore.

Do people use the GridStatusControlPipes addon for Grid? If so, what kinds of things do you use it for?

I've loaded it and keep it up-to-date, but haven't really figured out a use for it. I get the feeling that I'm not being creative enough in my thinking. (Or is it simply a technology demonstration that no one else has found a use for either?)

Regarding Grid + Pets, In a group of five people + one pet I get one row of six boxes. What I would like is one row of players and on top of that another row with pets. ie.

x
ooooo

Where 'o' is a player and 'x' is the pet of the first player.

I've tried both group 5 w/pets and group 10 w/pets with the same result. Ofcourse this would only be usable in a 5man group which is where I'm interested in having pets. In raids I dont care much for them (yet)

Does anyone have a hack to this or am I simply missing something? I tried searching this thread but didn't come up with anything.

"Player Options: Right-click to see..."

The above tooltip is caused by the Blizzard "Beginner Tooltip" option acessable by hitting "Escape > Interface > Help > Beginner Tooltips."

One simple question,

I use lifebloom addon for grid, that changes the color of the icon/number, when you have 1 stack, 2 stacks or 3 stacks,

there is some kinda of addon or some way to do the same with Wound Poison?

really think it might be usefull to diference when your m8 or you have 2 poisons or 5 poisons stacked.

I'm not certain whether it is default grid or gridcooldowntext that does what you want.

Here is a screenshot showing how you can navigate the "/grid config" menu to display numerical stacks of poison debuffs. You may need to raise the priority over 95 to get poisons to show over other debuffs so I've included information for that as well.

Just wanted to toss a quick post up, I added a couple grid modules to curse today, they are pretty simple but brought on by some changes to Disc priest healing:

GridStatusGrace
GridStatusMending

They both check the status and will show the size of the stack on the player.

Hope these help folks.

After 3.02 anyone has a bug where the Border when you select a box specially the ones to the left side and right side don't display?

Was that direct at my post? What I'm stating is a bug. I asked here because I couldn't see any post related to the same bug, so I wonder if thats only my problem or is it known.

EDIT - I solved the isue. It was strange. I messed around with spacing and the bug went way. Some spacing values make one of the sides of the border dissapear. So if you have this bug you know what to do.

My grid is taking up more space then it did before 3.0 due to extra padding between frames, even though the padding is set to 0. Does anyone know what is causing this?

I believe the answer is that you don't move the frames.

At least that's what i've been told several times, since i too would LOVE to be able to move the individual frames of Grid independently, would make healing assignments infinitely easier. But alas... not possible.

The best i've found to do is use the option to forcibly assign a person as a "Tank" so that they are in the center of my view regardless of class.

I have seen similar distortion of the borders when my grid's scale isn't some "clean" number, for example 0,73 rather than 1,00.

This can happen with plenty of other addons too, probably has something to do with rounding the set size values multiplied by the scale factor to actual pixels. A quick way to fix this issue usually is to set your addon's scale to 1 and then set the frame width and heigth using pixels as they will appear on your screen.

I have not tweaked Grid recently, but can you set the padding to a negative number?
