Mod request: Mob attack timer

Reading through the Mother Sharrez thread in the regular forum brings up a potential idea for a mod that tries to track mob swing time and does account for parry haste as well.

Does such a mod exist? Could it calculate out how fast the mob attacks and such or would it need to be hardcoded into the mod?

I guess you could write a mod, which tracks swing time of your target via combat log and creates a bar depending on the last swings, calculating speed-up swings by parries etc.

Wouldn't be hard to calculate the swing timer at all. Just measure the time between the last two hits and extrapolate forward.

Quartz has a swing timer for the user. Maybe you could thief the code?

Most if not all mobs have a 2.0 speed, however Mother Shazz can queue up hasted parry attacks (which is being fixed in the 2.2 patch) for some crazy burst.

I am using this addon to time my slam.

But how does it work with mob's attacking speed?

It has an enemy bar as well.

Recap has a field for intervals, so just pick the mob's melee entry and see the average time between the ability.

I don't think recap updates during combat though.

I think he's trying to get a mod that shows the time until the next attack. IE "Incoming attack in 0.5...0.3...NOW" type of bar. The catch is that it would also have to update after the tank's attack is parried.

Yes that's what I was looking for.

I don't think I understand LUA coding enough to create something like this unfortunatly.
