Energy Watch Mod

I'm currently using Gonffbar to monitor my energy ticks/combo points/energy because I can place it in the middle of my screen and have it only turn on during combat. However, the bar which shows energy ticks is very jerky and it's driving me up the wall.

Any suggestions on a better mod (for a Druid), or how to fix the jerking?

Beh, what's wrong with the question? My searching turned up very little, either because of my poor search terms or that there are so many threads.

Pitbull has a built in energy ticker directly on the energy bar. It's not mobile but it is smooth.

Oh I just read the title and figured this was a "what's that mod" thread question

On my rogue I use kEnergy and it fills my needs. The option to only show it in combat or stealthed is great.

How it works for druid I don't know.

I use a combination of Pitbull and aloft.
Moved my Char and the Target Unitframe to the lower center of my screen. Additionally i activated show combo-points on the hp bar of the target with aloft.

This results into me having an energy bar on my unitframe. 1-5 dots for cp on the target frame and additionally numerical 1-5 on the aloft hp bar on the target.

How to get an Android Authenticator on your PC. (updated feb'11)

This is wonderful, I searched wowaceupdater for energy, I have no idea why this didn't show up.

Is it on WAU? Not sure, couldn't find it at files.wowace.com atleast.

Just a warning, it got messed up two days ago, started getting energy ticks in the middle of the bar and I think it showed my current combo points +2 or something. Restart of the addon worked however.

Since switching from Pitbull back to aguf, I've been relying on IceHUD's energy ticker, but now that there is a patch for the aura lag issues, I may just switch back. There used to be a mod called "energywatch" or something that was a good stand-alone energy ticker.

kEnergy sure seems great, but it has been broken for 3 months on my Druid...

The Washington Post helps perpetuate a common and pernicious misreading of the decision, referring to "the Supreme Court’s judgment that corporations have the same rights as people when it comes to political speech." What the Supreme Court actually said is that people do not lose their free speech rights when they organize as corporations, including nonprofit interest groups as well as businesses.

Wait what? Is the patch actually working now?

Not to stray from the topic, but according to the Pitbull thread, aura lag has been resolved with a patch. If it works, I plan on going back to Pitbull, but I'm at work currently and I won't really be able to test it in a raid until tonight anyway.

For what its worth, I get a similiar (Im assuming) jerkiness in Pitbull's casting bar after my computers uptime goes beyond several days. The problem goes away after rebooting, so its not that big of an issue.

Is it constant jerkiness for you from the first time you start WoW after a reboot?

I use XPerl Unit Frames and it is rather clean. There is a refresher meter that shows you how much time is remaining for the next energy gain. This is shown directly inside the energy bar - an additional bar isn't used.

I have not experienced any jerkiness in the meter.

if you're up for trying something a bit different, I suggest EnergyTick. Instead of a visual indicator you get a heartbeat sound when targetting a hostile creature. My interface is kind of information overload anyway so it's nice to get at least some information non visually, especially as I rely a lot on combat sounds anyway. it feels really intuitive once you get a hang of it.

since i missed this for so long i can't report you, but i can neg-rep you for being a douchebag and running around like the fucking gestapo. way to admit you didn't even read something before you were about to report it.
Someone sure thinks they're a cool dude for that kind of rep note.

Edit - Some of you goons need to lighten up, seriously. The posts referenced above (which are what, over 2 weeks old?) was made in jest to an EJ guy because the title seemed to fit in the "Whats that Mod?" thread. Reporting threads is contributing to the forum, for the guy who thinks otherwise. Lay off it already.

I can third this particular mod. It's never broken for me, I've never had to update it, and even on 2.2 PTR, with completely screwed up energy tics, it's been 100% on. Amazingly handy little mod.

Energywatch still works. The only updating I ever did to my copy was a simple version change to make it not show up as outdated. I've used Pitbull and IceHud as well. All work great.

Note: The statement above is probably a lie.
