Current stance macro?

I'm trying to find a way to make one button show the icon of the current stance I'm in. Any ideas?

#showtooltip [stance:1] Battle Stance, [stance:2] Defensive Stance, [stance:3] Berserker Stance
Doesn't work.

I don't think this is physically possible. Assigning multiple icons to a single keybind/tooltip isn't possible, as far as I know.

Well using /castsequence Siphon Life, Immolate, Corruption displays each of the skills's icons sequentially as you use them, so I assumed it was possible.

Okay, sorry, let me clarify - none of those are based on a current state. Obviously, a macro can display the icon of a usable ability.

What you're asking (I think) is whether or not your tooltip can call the stance value of the stance you are currently in, which I believe is not possible.

Tested and working!

/Cast [Stance:1] Battle Stance; [Stance:2] Defensive Stance; [Stance:3] Berserker Stance;

It just as an indication of course, as useing the macro would just recast your current stance.

Edit: In order for this to work, you have to pick the red "?" as your macro Icon.

Okay, I obviously misinterpreted again. I assumed the end result here was a stance macro (i.e. a macro to change stances).

If all you are after is a hotkeyed position taken up on-screen to show you what stance you're in, then yes, this is a viable option.

With that said, if all you're after is a visual indicator of what stance you're using, assign 3 stance-specific abilities to that button, and actually get some use out of the button! You could use Shield Block/Charge/Intercept, or Overpower/Revenge/Whirlwind... same effect, but a useful end result.

Change the comers to semi comers.

#showtooltip [stance:1] Battle Stance; [stance:2] Defensive Stance; [stance:3] Berserker Stance

Use the Question mark macro icon, and there you have it.
