I really love this mode, awesome ^^
I recently tried to create my own set but failed at this: I wanted to display the miss rate of the whole raid, I base my set on the critical rate hit but It doesn't work :/
Does anyone did this already ?
PS: I am at work and cannot currently post it here

One thing that was mentioned before. I am interested in 'dmg done to target' ( swstats got it but i miss it in assessment ) to, for example, track who did dmg to totem in FLK in SSC...
can it be tagged some way?
if not, pleasee introduce it in next version , guessing it isnt something hard as swstats got it.
greaty addon btw.. thanks a lot for it

Installed, gave it a spin.. instant love. It's so intuitive I wondered why nobody has thought of this before. Terrific work! I'll advertise it as much as I can, it's a must have, to analyze the postmortems.
And about its precision synch/non synch, even if the problem exists, the help this addon gives in assessing the situation is terrific.
Thanks for such a great work! Really hope you can keep it up!

Is it possible to show the breakdown of Damage dealt to 'who'? For example :
20% total damage to target 1 ( click, further damage details )
30% total damage to target 2 ...

Hi,
I'm interesting in testing this new Addons as Recount seems to be not updated anymore.
Just a little question : as i'm using the french client, do I need to install FixLogString addon or does Assessment include it ?

This would be awesome. Also, maybe a breakdown by spell crits/hits/max hits as well.
Still looking for that instant DPS tag as well if that's possible. The whole damage/fight length really doesn't cut it. It shows me doing ~500 dps vs. WWS of like 1000-1200+.
Great mod so far.

Yesterday I've quickly put together a small lua script that adds:
3 Tags:
Activity
DamageActivity
HealingActivity
2 List Types:
Damage Dealers
Healers
It seems to work quite nicely and computing results similar to Recount.
It still needs testing in a raid environment as well, which will happen tomorrow night.

I've noticed that the DPS reading that the default Assessment tag is, well, not very good. I'm not sure if this can be fixed with some changes or not, but it seems way off compared to, for example, a WWS phrase. For example, a Rage Winterchill fight sits the highest DPS at 900 and then goes down to 600 odd where the WWS places DPS (correctly) at 1600-1000 ranges. Is it possible to make it more accurate? Damage done / Personal combat time?

Beska - WWS by default shows Instant DPS, which is what I've been asking about. Assessment, and most back of the envelope DPS calculations, does Dmg Done / Combat Time, which gives low figures on fights where you have to stop DPS for any amount of time. Instant DPS however is only relevant in the context of the DPS Uptime, the strategy used, and the length of the fight. Anyone who says "Oh I did 2000 DPS yesterday on WWS" without stating the length of the fight, their strategy, and their uptime, is pretty much full of shit. A holy priest can get 1200 Instantaneous DPS if they got a big Mindblast crit in the fight, but their uptime would be near 0%, which tells the real story.
What I've been asking for is basically what Lightstrike mentioned above - a Damage Activity and instant DPS.

Vyktianity already has over 75 billion followers. The first verse in his book "Gift of the Wild" is "In the beginning Vyk cast lifebloom and then maul."

Would you be interested in committing your additions as an Assessment_Activity addon to WoWAce's svn, or released separately?

A big thanks to lightstrike. He EMailed his module to me, and I've included it in the main Assessment distribution.
This adds a few new default display sets:
1. Activity
2. Damage Activity
3. Healing Activity
4. Average Instant DPS
5. Average Instant HPS
To access 2, 3, or 5, you'll need to mark them as 'favorite'.

++Rep to you both.
[e] Holy crap the instant DPS figures update insanely fast... is there a way to dial it down a little?
Its also showing Mobs along with the friendlies.
Nevermind I see where to fix that bit.

Every stat has its own update rate, the default is 10 for ten times a second. You can reduce it to 1 for once a second.

Windows > Window x > Update Rate
or
FuBar Options > FuBar Text > Update Interval
I have my windows set to 1, longest allowed update rate, and my FuBar to 2 which is the longest for that.

Ohhh, your post above said that each stat had its own update rate. I was looking in the data set options.

I would use assessment but I can't seem to get it to show 1 type of feature I need.
I rely on Recount for death explanations. It generally says exactly what killed the person and who healed and what they healed before that person died. It also does a "who healed whom" type display so you can figure out if people neglected healing assignments and what type of heals people were using.
So far, I can see the amount of damage a person took - but not the source of the damage (was it flamepatch or alar melee?).

I'm pretty sure the flat death list has tooltips over the damage sources that say where the damage came from. I could be wrong though.
