WoW Aceupdater problem

Recently installed wow aceupdater. When I run the program, it does not recognize any installed ACE2 mods (I have several). The WOW install directory is set automatically to the main wow directory, should it be the addons directory? Basically, the program does nothing, as I cannot get it to see my mods, or show any other mods. Anyone have any ideas?
