Very nice mod, just started using today and its been what I've looked for. Managed to increase its font size by doing a find and replace on the (font, 11) code in core.lua changing it to 13, its probably my ui scale that made it look too small in the first place.

Stupid question, but what is the T at the top of Demon for? Doesn't appear to serve any purpose while applying debuffs on mobs in my testing, and wondered if it could be hidden?

Can anyone confirm that duplicate debuffs are being counted properly? There were complaints about demo roar being psuhed off today despite me never seeing more than 36 debuffs up (mostly between 25-33 debuffs). I ask because it does have problems displaying wether same-named-but-different debuffs are up.

T is for target, F is for focus - shows which mob the list of debuffs is for.

I prefer DebuffFilter Since it leaves less visual spam on my screen. The colored bars, text, etc I find are much harder to digest than the icons I am used to looking at on the mob anyhow.

The screenshot doesn't show it but for debuffs you place on the target you have the option of the standard "picture radial timer" that debuffs do by default.

This mod is out of date, however (though it still works and I have had no issues). Perhaps another fine question is can Demon work in a mode similar to this? A maintained and updated mod that duplicates this display method would be awesome.

Edit: Question withdrawn. Found the solution myself by trying a suggestion made in Guild chat.

TellMeWhen can do this, but doesn't have timer functionality (yet).

Has anyone taken the time to update this with the new debuff system? If needed I could compile a list of debuffs that are raid essential and stack.

I know its not a updated Demon, but i am currently using Utopia - Addons - Curse and liking it a lot.

the raid comp tool @ mmo has a fairly up to date list of important debuffs.

there are a few alternates floating about including:

smarty
debuffenough

and as mentioned above utopia.

My opinion is that debuffenough is most similar to demon, however like most of these addons early beta.

Although I'm not really a programmer anymore, and absolutely ignorant of LUA programming, by having a look inside the Demon code and with some educated guesswork I managed to extend its functionality so a few new debuffs are tracked and displayed as equivalent (Infected Wounds, Ebon Plaguebringer, Icy Touch, etc) to the new ones.

If enough people care I guess I could repackage it and make it available, but I'm not even sure I didn't miss anything major.

One noteworthy item is unfortunately the Paladin version of Thunderclap debuff - Judgements of the Just. It doesn't appear in the mob debuff lists anywhere, as far as I know - it's just an additional effect whenever any judgement is applied by a prot paladin, and the tooltips don't help either.

If anyone figured out how the hell this could be tracked, I'd be most obliged and would try to include the functionality.

Just a thing before someone points it out - I already know this mod is considered obsolete, but I just happen to like it, and not like any replacements I've since run into. Thus my effort to keep it usable.
