I attempted to install addons I need for raiding like omen, xrs, grid, etc and they just arent loading. They show up in the addon list at the character selection screen and are showing as enabled but they won't show in-game. It's like something in your ui is preventing other addons from loading? Is there any way around this? I see that you have those addons working in your raid screenshot so I assume its something I'm missing due to lack of experience with lua.

My Guess would be that you're missing the needed Libraries for those ACE mods to function.

Couple of raid shots of what I'm using currently:
Would love some feedback, I really want to find a way to have my grid in the bottom eePanel but I just can't find the room. Also would like a better solution to the buffs as having EBB where it is just looks kinda cluttered to me. Also, I've been looking for a simple cooldown mod that will display a cooldown timer on all of my icons (I use bongo bars and autobar) if anyone has a suggestion for a good one of these.

You can use bufflo or santrina's buff frame for displaying buffs.

Hm, could have sworn I had those. I'll have to give that a try. I used the wowace updater to install them and picked "With Externals". Does that not download the libraries as well?

Rbars question
Hello, i've been using Zork's ui for a few days now, and i'm pretty bad at editing LUA's files, and was just wondering if there was a way to make the main bar have buttons 1-12 all across the bottom, instead of 1-6 on the bottom and 7-12 on the top, and having the second bar next to it, in the 1-6 7-12 format. I find your UI to be great, absolutely perfect for my warrior needs, just found this a bit annoying, Also is there a way to make the right hand bars stay out all the time, and not hide when in combat? thanks for any help!

Well, I gave Zork's UI 5 hours, 1 5 man and 1 Heroic to run.
I just can't stand it. Guh. Its a good UI, it gets a lot done, but there are so many things that just drive me up a wall:
No organized bags(/cry)
Unbalanced action bar placement
The complete inability to move or change anything(and when that means tooltips are in the middle of the screen...thats gg)
I'm sure it does well for a lot of people, but for me, it was 5 hours of lackluster play and just frustration. Guh.

You can change all of the things you don't like about it.
For the bags you can download a separate mod. The tooltips actually have an in-game config menu that lets you put it wherever you want. The action bars I think require some lua editing.

I'm confused with this post. Are you saying that thanks to what he said you can now correct it and use the UI? Or are you saying it should work perfectly fine "out of the box" and work just the way you want it to without problem. Because if it is the latter, refer to the text under my name. If not, forget I ever posted this!

Another question, why did you switch the first 2 bar orientations around to 2x6? It doesn't seem to work well in regards to having one of those two disabled, or if happen to work with the default ui at times (my normal button configuration, changed to look correct on the 2x6 + 2x6 layout, would be split up in most default configurations of other bar addons/no addons at all).

So redid my UI and I think it has become better.
Although there are stills some things that need to be changed e.g.:
The Party Target's Names/ MTT's Names :
The Good - As you can see, the name is shortened to a few letters, because of the party Targe'ts Health.
The Bad - especially in Arena or Dungeons, the Names shown are too short.
The Ugly - If I Put the Name above the Unitframe - the names will overlay.
I'd appreciate a shortened name above the Unitframe, for instance - instead of "Gimp of the seven Stars of Azeroth" only "Gimp" - if you catch my meaning.

That is strange since I use Omen and XRS myself in raids. Try to download them from files.wowace.com.

Check the textures on the buff-icons and bar-buttons.

My beloved 6 button-system. It works best for me in the matter of eye-tracking.
If you have a straight 1x12-button bar I find it hard to keep an eye at button 1 and 12 at once.
If you make the bar 2x6 its much easier.
I have another 2x6 bar right next to it for not so often used buttons.
It doesn't have to mean that this fits your needs, but you have the opportunity to edit the code and make it fit.

If you need some other addon, no problem go download it.
If you need some modification, no problem go and edit the lua code.
Anyway, I am just trying to give you some options that you could play with. Nothing more and nothing less.

I, for one, am extremely grateful that you allow us to download your collection of addons. I find alot of your tastes suit my play style just fine. Also, I find that the coding of your addons are easy to follow and edit if I want to change something. I'm not a coder but I can pick apart existing code and make changes so I don't mind editing some things to my taste.
I just wanted to say thanks for the contributions you've made, they've changed my mod-heavy memory-hogging UI into a low-mem beast. I went from almost 200 addons at 90mb to 33 addons at 12mb and its nice and smooth and still does everything I want.
Thanks for the work you've done and keep it up, I just wish I spoke German so I could participate in the forums at TDMOG.
*Edit: I guess I should include a screenshot since this is a UI thread:

Love this UI, can you tell me what you're using for the unitframes. Also i'm assuming that's eePanels for minimap and action bars?

What part exactly should I be looking at - it appears to be the same glossy square you always use. Is there some subtle difference in the border that I'm missing?
edit: maybe I was looking at the wrong picture when I originally posted, I guess it looks more like the new pic lacks the distinct glossyness of the others. I guess I'm still confused as to what vertexcolor actually does however.

The gloss on this screenshot is black/grey/whatever. Not that white glossy stuff like the other screenshots.

It's a modified pTags which can be found on zork's google account.
---
My current UI, modified rBars for my 1x12 button display and added ic/ooc fading. Also edited rBuff for my needs (whole debuff-colors and so on)
http://deponie.org/ui/079.jpg
http://deponie.org/ui/080.jpg
... what I changed in the last ~10 minutes:
- oCD got same texture like rBars etc have
- oCD got spacing between icons.
