Wow, there are some really clean UIs here that make mine look like the proverbial bull in a China shop.



Visible mods are Bongos2, X-Perl UnitFrames, Fubar (with a bunch of plugins), Omen, Sorren's Hunter Timers, Elkhano's Buff Bars and DamageMeters.

Resolution is 1920x1200 on a 24" Dell 2407WFP.

I love the unitframes :P

Does anyone know of a way to permanently hide the minimap? (currently using squeenix to modify the minimap but it doesn't seem to have the option to perma hide it so I have to manually hide it every time I log on.)

A common unitframe choice of UI designer's is Pitbull, because of its customization.

(Though I like Xperl and it doesn't require hours to set up

Here's my UI, and I am having issues with the simpleMinimap. It keeps changing and going back to default after every time i relog or reloadui. It doesn't seem to be saving my settings. Any one know how to fix this?


I love PerfectRaid, does the job since I don't need much details as a tank.

Trying out the whole minimal deal while still displaying all the information I need at that time (the need changes from Idle -> Solo Combat -> Raid/Party Combat). Will update with a raid screeny later did this while sitting out on vashj.

If you google Dafont it will show you a site with a large variety of free font downloads. Then, if you have the cf font package ( the addon package separate from cf2), you can just change out and rename folders to implement them. I like to do that since I don't feel comfortable with coding.

Hei zork could you please tell me what resolution and scale are you using? I can't seem to get it to fit to my screen

I use 1280x960 with no scaling.
If you play windows mode full screen your windows resolution should be 1280x960 too, but you really don't need to use my resolution. If you have problems with some elements on screen try to move or delete them, its not that hard. I change sth. on my interface every day, its just for fun.

Recently installed on a new laptop and ditched my old Interface/WTF. I sort of dove in head first when it came to gradients this time.

Basically every crazy thing that could possibly take place on the screen at one time:



Did a few space saving things like running my focus's cast bar through the focus's target's frame (focus is the frame with the portrait in it and focus target is above that). I'm below the focus, pet below me, target to my right (with large target portrait in the lower right), target of target and tott above that. I like to keep a big portrait for my focus mostly because it's easier to see if it's still sheeped while playing my mage.

The little numbers running up on the left and right side are a hacked EavesDrop not displaying icons and made much wider than the set max. I prefer it to SCT because it keeps track of events that pass out of view, and I can view the history by scrolling in the middle of the screen.

I decided to switch from elkbuffbars to something that showed an iconic view, but I'm having a bit of trouble finding something that really fits what I want. I'm using buffalo2 right now, but it's pretty buggy. I want an addon that I can use to configure the number of rows/columns, how buffs are sorted, that sort of stuff (preferably with the bartender3/dreamlayout look). I'm also looking for a mod that lets me move my target's buffs/debuffs somewhere else not attached to my target's frame. Basically Debuff Filter without the filtering. I thought about diving into the LUA to stop the part that filters and just let everything through, but for now I'm still looking.

Decided to do this with my cast bars:

You can do all of this with Elkbuffbars. Make some new groups, and use the filter whitelist/blacklist to adjust whatever you want. Remove the bars from your buffs altogether and just keep the icon/time. When it comes to customizing, there's really nothing like EBB. The only problem might be getting Dreamlayout on the icons, not sure how you would do that.

SharedMedia is what you want, if you need more fonts (and bar textures) for pitbull and generally more fonts/bar textures for all ace2/rock addons.

The best Ryas UI ever....and that unitframes is a must for everyone :P Looks cool and quite clean at the same time. And of course it has what the hunters' need

I don't ever look there; I could turn auto-hide on, but I don't see why. It's just a detail anyway.
