The new taintlog feature is supposed to help with that.
Type /console taintlog 1
Relog and then after it happens there will be a log of mostly useless information in your log folder.
You can also try /console taintlog 2
This will give you a more detailed log. The log can be moderatly helpful in tracking down the issue, but unfortuntely as with most things WoW, its pretty useless and doesn't always point to the correct addon.

Anyone having trouble with OnScreenHealth lately? Whenever I target a mob the health displayed just turns into VALUE-PER instead of a actual number...

Had the same problem, completed removed Onscreen health and cleaned out the SV , reinstalled it and that disappeared but.. I can no longer see percentages.. So I think Savantido must have modified the lua to show percents?

Unlikely. I'm using r52422 and getting percents just fine. Either revert back to that rev (if you're above it) or download it specifically.

I just downloaded a compilation posted in the Interface UI thread and most of the profiles are set to default. After renaming the appropriate folder in WTF I still have profiles set to default.
Basically when I choose my characters profile the settings from all addons are lost and selecting default profile the settings are back.
I renamed my current WTF and Interface folders, moved them to a different hdd and for some reason bartender3 after choosing a different profile still loads the same bars and overwrites the skills I choose on different profiles.
Does this have to do with the cache folder? Is it safe deleting this folder?
How can I use my profile for the compilation made by another user?
Because using the default profile is not really a good thing.

Hold down shift when you mouseover an item. It's part of the default UI now.
That took me a while to figure out aswell

Hello, I've recently switched from Bongos to Bartender and I noticed that the buffs/debuffs were not positioned outside the frame, but I noticed in some UI's like Caith's the buffs and debuffs were positioned outside the frame. I was wondering if anyone knew how I can fix it, or the code I need to change in the aura.lua
Thanks for the help!

Reset SWL position
Hello.
After last patch I got my SWS and SWL (the combatlog supplied with SWS) windows outside the screen. With /sws resetwin it was quickly fixed for SWS, but for SWL it is not working.
Does anybody know how to reset the SWL Unit log window ?

It has nothing to do with Blizzard, the author of Onscreenhealth changed this himself AND anounced it in the official topic on wowace. You just have different codes now:
|
New text formatting system! It's a token-based system, similar to how %t will be replaced with your target's name in a macro. Your options are $c for current, $m for maximum, $d for missing (deficit), and $p for percent (doesn't include a % sign... use $p% if you want it). These work for both health and power formats. See README.TXT in the addon's folder for more details and some examples.

Thanks for that, I was referring, somewhat obliquely, to the EQCompare addon..and the shift mouseover part of the UI. I will make the appropriate changes and update it

You need to edit the aura.lua file in the pitbull/aura/ (or just addons/pitbull_aura depending on how it's sorted on your comp)
Zork posted this guide on how to do it:
TDMOG - Eine World of Warcraft Gilde
To edit your .lua file you need to use a program for it, the windows notepad isn't good enough. I recommend notepad2 or notepad++. I had to fool around with it for some time before I got it right, so try yourself with the plusses and minusses until you get a nice result.
To get the borders on the auras you need to download Caith's UI and then use his borders from his Pitbull/aura folder. It's just cut and paste the file into your folder so it overwrites.
Remember to backup these files, since every time you run WAU you will need to replace the files with your backed up files again.
I am very far from an expert on this and had never done anything in .lua before this, so It's perfectly doable if you take the time for it.

I have just a quick question, went around about 5 forums et cetera but I fail to answer a very simple question:
If I want an eePanel to only show up when I have a target selected, how do I anchor it? Same goes for a Target-of-Target frame - I can't figure out what name to put into the panel's "Anchor"-field.
Thanks in advance!

Like this:
First you get a macro with this one and keybind it.
/print GetMouseFocus():GetName()
Then you hold your mouse over the thing you wanna know the anchor name of and press the macro
Then you get a text in your chat (Probably PitBullUnitFrame3 for target (if you have pet enabled))
Then you chose a panel and go to "Parent" in the dropdown menu then write the ext you got with pressing the macro (PitBullUnitFrame3 for instance) (NOTE: It HAS to be Capital and small letters. so It cant be pitbullunitframe3 or PiTBULLUNITFRAME3. It HAS to be exact)
THen that panel will get parented to your target frame (or w/e frame you were holding your mouse over)
but now you're not going to see the frame cuz the size is exactly 100% of the frame, so just go to Width and chose like 150% and you'll see it so you can drag it around etc. and resize it to right size
Hope this Helps
Erzy

Is there any way to have Cartographer open the map automatically when my game starts up? I have a dual-monitor setup and have allocated space to keep my worldmap open all the time, but every time I load up I have to open it. (I found where to make ESC not close the thing in Look 'n Feel, but there's no option to keep it open all the time.)
For ref, a huge WIP pic (stupid work, interrupting my UI-play time...):

I think that you could probably write an addon to just open your minimap automatically, or add it into an addon like Cartographer. I don't think Cartographer has an option built in to do this, but I'm not entirely sure. I also don't know how you would add code to an addon to do this, sorry.
I am so jealous of people who have dual-monitors. I so need to get a second monitor, because that just looks amazing. How useful is having a second monitor with pieces of your interface on it, and how hard is it to set up (both the dual-monitors themselves and the interface across two monitors)?

Indeed it is. I just had it use a yellow border (I'm going for a dark grey and yellow theme, if it isn't obvious already. )

Snap. Coding is NOT my strong suit.
As far as dual-monitors...on another forum I frequent, I did a whole step-by-step thread to build up a UI (it wasn't as refined at the end, but it worked for the time I put into it). It can get rough sometimes trying to decide what you need to see and what you don't, but as I like having lots of chat panes up, it works really really well for that. It's not bad to set up...you have to basically tell Windows to use both monitors as one desktop (so if you maximized a window, it would take up both monitors), and then set the setting in WoW to something like 3360x1050 for a resolution. Then you use an addon like Aperature to set the viewport to only the left monitor, use MoveAnything or what-not to move a TON of stuff from the middle (which is techincally between the two monitors) over to the middle of the left side of the screen, and work on yer UI!
The images from the aforementioned thread can be found here:
Index of /images/interfacebuild
Specifically, the first few deal with setting up video resolutions and the viewport. (I used CT_ViewPort back then.) They're pretty basic so you can probably skip through 'em pretty fast but they get more interesting later.

Anyone else keep running into a problem with Buffalo ?
It fails to hide the standard Blizzard Weapon buff icons. Those are the only ones affected and not sure what the problem is.
Putting Buffalo standby and reactivating fixes the problem. Similarly, disabling and enabling 'Hide Blizzard Frames -> Buffs' in Pitbull sorts out the problem as well.

I'm looking for a solution to better recognize what stance my warrior is in. Are there any existing add-ons that could place the words "Battle" "Defensive" or "Berserker" over my characters head with some sort of transparency when I'm in the appropriate stance?
Any other solutions warriors have found for this?
Also, does anyone recall the name of the add-on for binding keys straight from the spell book?

Although I don't know how you would do that, you could possibly just make a large button on an actionbar that could represent what stance you are in. You could position this over your head with whatever transparency, though it would be clickable.
I have a question too; has anyone been able to get Cycircled working with Dfilter (Debuff Filter)? I need Dfilter but can't stand how ugly it looks compared to every other icon on my screen.
