How would I go about uploading a UI as a different resolution than my own, or the files resolution?

Do you mean as in to upload the UI for somebody in their native resolution? I'm not sure how you could go about it if their resolution is bigger or different aspect than yours. But if you're just trying to put it in a smaller resolution I think you could just change your wow video settings to whatever resolution, and redesign it from there, and I think you'd just upload the WTF and addons folder. I'm not positive on any of this though.

As for my question, I'm using dominos with buttonfacade, does anybody else ever have problems with your global cooldown not doing the spiral motion? It seems to happen while I'm dicking around with UI settings, and can never figure out how to get it back. Sometimes it randomly fixes itself it seems, anybody know what could be causing this?

edit - Also, I've got an aesthetic question, with the UI setup I'm using now, I've got my combat log at the bottom right, chat at bottom left. The problem is my tooltip is down in the bottom right blending with my combat log kind of making it hard to take a quick glance at the tooltip to find out whatever it says. I've got moveanything or whatever the addon is, I just can't find a damn good spot to put it, they all seem so awkward especially with how the tooltip varies in size, so one place it looks good hovering over one thing, may not hovering over another. Anyways, I'm open to suggestions.

For reference[this evil tooltip can be seen hanging out with the combat log]: http://i40.tinypic.com/2079uh4.jpg

@funnehman

Tooltip mods such as Cowtip, tinytip, etc. will allow you to move it. I know there are others as well, I just can't think of anymore atm. I know Cowtip will let you anchor the tooltip for certain things (like talents on your bars) to your mouse (if that's an option for you) and move it anywhere on the screen as well.

As for modless placement try placing it above the combat log? Move your buffs up a tad and put it between the buffs and combat log.

About a junk seller from the previous page:

tekJunkSeller will automatically sell all grays when you visit a vendor.
DropTheCheapestThing adds a button to the vendor to sell your junk. It also plugs into a broker display to give a fubar-like button that allows you to manually drop the cheapest item(s) if the need arises. The author says that it is a rewrite of GarbageFu.

Looking for a versatile buff/debuff filtering mod, ideally one that hooks into pitbull or other unit frame.

Pitbull has filter options, but it won't let you break it down by friendly/enemy.

Specifically, here's what I think I want:
Friendly buffs - show only what I can cast
Friendly debuffs - show all [I use highlight features to flag frames that have debuffs I can cure]
Enemy buffs - show all
Enemy debuffs - show only what I actually applied. [bonus points if it lets me merge overlapping debuffs like mangle/trauma]

Thank you for any ideas.

I'm currently using Stuf unit frams, which I'm REALLY liking, but there's one thing I'm curious about: can VisualHeal be incorporate into it? There's an "Incoming Heal" section to it already, but I don't like the Percentage; I prefer the estimated health be shown in the health bar as it does with others. Any suggestions?

Just cross-listing this post from the WoWAce forums - I've been attempting to try to fix my disconnect issues in Naxxramas for awhile. Anyone see a "bad mod" on my UI list, or know of the big culprits that may cause disconnects?

Frequent Disconnects, help! - WowAce Forums

Thanks in advance.

@Riot: To borrow some from what people said at WoWAce forums, have you looked at your modem and/or router? As a FYI I had seen a huge spike in DCs recently and it turned out that my modem was defective (it slowly killed itself via over-heating). I don't see anything in the list that would lead me to a culprit, but in my 4+ years of WoW experience, DCs have been an issue with bandwidth throughput whether from ISP or hardware and not addons. The theory seems to be that there are addons that are so computer resource-dependent during certain fights that they overload the computer to the point that the computer cannot allocate the resources to maintaining the network connection. Which seems very implausible: I could see addons causing FPS issue, but not overloading the computer to the point that it DCs. And given your specs I would guess you have the hardware. Have you tried playing without any other bandwidth dependent program (i.e. GAIM, Steam, et cetera)?

Not sure if this helps: more theorizing than a result-oriented statement. Good luck.

I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my UI before I release it. The one thing I can't figure out how to do is change the default blizz border on pitbull 3 to something like Caith or the Apathy border from button facade.

Something like this: http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/2190/...0509195908.jpg

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

The character linked in your profile appears to be below level 10. This may account for your poor Patchwerk DPS.

I've for a quite while tried to find a decent Buff Reminder/Buff addon.
I've ended up with Cork, but I don't really like it.
What do you guys use? Anything you guys could recommend me?

Thanks!

I'm looking for 3 mods here (one of them is the same as the guy above me):

1) Addon that Checks for pre-fight buffs for myself only (Food, Flask, Fel Armor, Spellstone), but have been unsuccessful at finding an up-to-date one.

2) Addon that flashes or warnings or something whenever I get low health.

3) Addon that tracks raid cooldowns (Battle Rez, Bloodlust, etc.)

Thanks!

i am trying to work in LynStats and change my font for it.

i replaced FRIZQT__.ttf with the font exprswy free.ttf in my WoW\fonts folder
then renamed exprswy free.ttf back to FRIZQT.ttf so that WoW will recognize it
but it is still showing up as FRIZQT__.ttf in game.

-- text
local text_anchor = "BOTTOMLEFT"
local font = "Fonts\\FRIZQT__.ttf"
local size = 12
local addonlist = 30 -- how much addons should be shown?
local classcolors = true -- true or false
local shadow = true -- true / false
local outline = false -- true / false
local time24 = true -- true: 24h / false: 12h
i also tried changing the path straight to my fonts folder in Windows, but that didn't work.
any thoughts? or am i missing something simple?
