Does anyone know of an addon that would on entering combat run a cumulative timer of all the time you spend idle. So I could get a physical number of how effective I am dpsing. Basically the timer would start when entering combat then pause when im either casting or in GCD and keep stopping and starting based on this. Then have me able to see the total idle time when leaving combat.

Does anybody know how to change the font in Gladius?

I'm looking at line 162 in "frame.lua": local fontPath = GameFontNormalSmall:GetFont()

I guess my syntax is off when trying to redirect it to a font in my SharedMedia folder. Either that or I'm looking in the wrong place, any suggestions would be appreciated. I looked at other interfaces but they seem to be using the Interface/Fonts folder instead of what I'd prefer to do.

Are you using local fontPath = \\Interface\\Addons\\Shared_Media\\font ?

Thanks for the feedback, here's exactly what my line 162 looks like:

local fontPath = "Interface\\Addons\\SharedMedia\\fonts\\accpres.ttf"

Gladius still functions fine but its using the default font still, and not Accidental Presidency.

Placing \\ before Interface or not using quotations causes Gladius to not function. Also, my SharedMedia doesn't have an underscore. So I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm all ears to suggestion.

It's been a while since I've played WoW, and am just starting again (work and all), so I've been out of the loop on many, many mods. I have been playing with a lot of my mods lately (something I never used to do), and need some help with key bindings.

The problem I am having with Bartender4 is that I manage to set my key bindings just fine on bar 2 (for the second bar I am using ctrl+X commands), but when I try to use the commands, they will not work (for instance, I set wrath on the second bar and assign it ctrl+2, then Bartender tells me it's set). I realize that this is more than likely a simple problem to fix, but I am what most would consider a 'noob' when it comes to mods.

Edit: After re-installing and reloading my UI, Bartender4 seems to now recognize my control key commands. I thought this may have been a 'user' error, but I changed nothing about the way I affixed my controls the second time through. Please disregard.

Okay.. I'm gonna start building a more practical (and preferrably goodlooking) interface than what I have now, and there's a few things I'm missing. So what I need is some advice on addons for each of the following things. Generally I wnat something that's easy to configure, flexible, and doesn't take up too much room.

What I need is:

Something for my chatlog. I'm thinking of trying MiniChat, but I don't really know anything about it, so if you know something better, I'd like a suggestion.

Minimap icons: I already have a minimap replacement (carbonite), but I'd like some bar or something for minimap icons.

Threat-meter. Does anyone of a threat-meter that saves the data, so you can look back on it after a fight? Right now I'm using RecountThreat, wich is great for keeping an eye on my threat in combat, but it would be nice to be able to see a graph or something.

Also, is there a way to configure Grid to show manabars and possibly pets health?

GridManaBars will give you the Mana Bars option. From memory, you already can enable pets in the Group settings.

As to the chatlog, just have a stroll through either Curse or WoWinterface. They both have a Chat mods subsection.

My SharedMedia has a "font" folder, not a "fonts" folder. Might want to double-check that. Or try using this syntax:

local fontPath = [=[Interface\Addons\SharedMedia\font\accpres.ttf]=]

For whatever reason my SharedMedia folder actually is "fonts" so that's not it.

I tried the new syntax, still no dice =/

I'm currently redoing my interface (see this post for some explanation/screenshots), and I'm running into a few problems.

First, a problem that I've had for a while is the minimal randomly going black sometimes. It fixes itself when changing zones (sometimes), but I haven't been able to find a cause for this. I'm guessing this could be caused by SimpleMinimap, but I'm not sure.

Secondly, I have a problem where the highlights/text of my bartender icons sometimes move to the right a bit. This is a problem that I've had for a while too, and some other addons also have it (for example, the highlighted part of NTK has it). It looks quite weird, but fixes itself when opening the interface options window (or at least, it does in the case bartender). My only guess is that this is caused by the fact that I use wine, but I'm hoping to be wrong in that.

Finally, I'm looking for something that would give some kind of notification icons. Like I have the icons that display runes, I'd like to have a dot next to them or something to highlight when a specific spell could be cast (death coil, in my case). Any ideas on this?

Has anyone been able to set up Reflux with NeedToKnow or TellMeWhen or any other addon that uses SavedVariablesPerCharacter instead of SavedVariables?

Reflux overall seems to be pretty picky with an already set up UI (despite the /snapshot command), and although I managed to get most of it to work (trial&error), I haven't found any solution for these type of addons yet.

Is there an addon which lets you hide the chat tab borders, but not the tab itself? I'm working with two chat tabs (one for general, trade, etc and one for guild, raid, etc), and I would like to have the tab names always visible but to hide the border. Can't find an option like that in Prat sadly.

OK, I have a specific UI need. I want a mod that shows icon + duration of the poisons on my weapons. It needs to show the poison spell icon, not the weapon icon (since when I weapon swap, I am using the heroic and normal version of my offhand) so that I can tell which poisons I have up.

Buffalo shows weapon icon, no option for spell.
Auras in Pitbull have this option, but for about 2 months its been broken and the icon for your offhand doesn't refresh properly when you swap.
Satrina Buff Frames shows weapon icon, no option for spell.
Power Auras shows weapon icon, no option for spell.
TellMeWhen shows weapon icon, no option for spell.

Any suggestions?

i have this strange problem that, sometimes my quest log frame and raid members frame would get screwed up

like the "abandon, share" buttons would be non-responsive to clicking and quest details would disappear
and raid members frame would look weird
