/quartz opens the config GUI, select Player from the list on the left and then one of the first checkboxes should be called Lock, deselect it and drag the now displaying bar to your hearts content
In regards to locking a bar to a frame, I'm not 100% sure but if you select Target from the list on the left and go through all the options you may find something, I know you can have bars dock to other Quartz frames but not sure about other addon frames.

Try having a look at PT3Bar, it's an Ace2 addon as well and is very similar to AutoBar however it has no in-game GUI and requires the editing of .lua files to set up. The wiki and forum thread provide plenty of information to get started though.

After seeing Halcyone's UI, I decided that I had to try Pitbull. I was able to get it looking the way I wanted, except for the buffs under the Target. It's the only frame giving me a problem. I tried copying over settings from the other frames but the buffs/debuffs on the Target keep appearing to the left. As you can see in the photo, it looks like I have Ascept of the Viper but it's actually the hunter that I'm targeting. The second screen shot shows exactly where Pitbull has the buffs/debuffs placed. Any ideas? I saw at least one other post mentioning this problem but no solution was given in that forum (What's that Mod???) Thanks.

You can unlock each of the castbars at the top of their own settings. A global lock/unlock would've been nice.. yeah. When a bar is unlocked it'll show at all times, so you wont have to cast a spell to watch it. Also, mirror is not that important. It's only important use is for 'Breath' when you're having a swim.

I believe Hal has changed some lines in his Pitbull_Aura/Aura.lua to change the position of (de)buffs, so downloading the official file should solve your problem.

Unchecking "Lock" under Player, Mirror (only if not attached to the player frame), and Target will bring up preview bars that you can click-drag to reposition. I don't know of a way to attach the target castbar to the target frame using Quartz, but the unitframe addon Pitbull has an option to add castbars to frames. agUnitframes may too, but I'm not 100% sure on that one. Those are both available from wowace.com. Pitbull is a bit of a bear to setup if you're unfamiliar, however.
Don't know what's going on with the mirror bar. The preview sometimes won't show any text, but it usually updates when the actual bar is visible (on non-resting logout, for example, or while underwater).

Hi guys, this is my first post here.
I just installed the new Halycon UI (which I believe isn't made by hal anymore, but that's beside the point.
It's running great for me, I'm loving it. The functionality, the look, etc. Just one small problem that, if a resolution can't be found, will mean I won't be able to run the UI.
There's a timer for my pets abilities that pops up right in the middle of my screen that I can't move, nor can I find out WHICH mod it is.
It isn't so much a timer of the abilities, but say, when Frenzy procs, It will count down the 7 seconds, or it will count down how long until Bestial Wrath wears off. Here is a screenshot to demonstrate: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/MrGood/yargh.jpg
And another thing:
When one of my abilities has finished its cooldown, say for instance arcane shot. A large "button" arcane shot will appear in the middle of my screen for a split second indicating that the cooldown is up. It looks exactly like a generic Blizzard UI action bar button slot looks, but it's perhaps 6 times the size and is just one singular image displaying the icon for the skill which has just completed its cooldown.
If anyone could name either, or both of these mods, I would be eternally grateful.
Edit: After help from a friend, and finding a little thing that gives a synopsis of the mods, I found and disabled all my problems.

I'm currently using Proximo as an arena-assist addon, I'm trying to find an addon or find a way to configure this current one, so that it can show debuffs (I want to keep track of hamstring) on the enemy unitframes. An other thing that I'm looking for, probably impossible to show on unitframes, is enemy casting bars of all targets (not just mine).
I'm using spellalert and Natur - enemy casting bar currently, where spellalert becomes really spammy when you set it to show things done by all targets and same goes for Natur enemy castbar.
Does anyone have a possibility to maybe edit Proximo .lua files or something similar?

I just recently downloaded and started using Halcyone's UI v8. It's beautiful, it's great, works like a charm. Except now I'm getting an error that pops up and won't go away.
I get the exact same error only with the number 1295 instead of 1279.
Any thoughts or suggestions on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Download the new version of SLTimex which has been split into SLTimex and SLStats. You'll have to reconfigure it to look the same, but it'll solve the problem. For whatever reason, only a few people have been getting the errors.

I've been looking for something similar. Knowing when your cc, snare or whatever breaks/runs out is valuable information, but SpellAlert/Witchhunt and NECB are (as you mention yourself) way too spammy. You'll get a headache trying to find the valuable info between all the garbage.
Having buffs/debuffs on Proximo's unitframes would indeed be nice, however someone in your party has to target the enemy to get reliable results.
Instead I'd suggest a universal PvP addon (for both arena and bgs) that'd check both combat log and your target/tot/focus/raidtarget/etc. for information. And most importantly it would let you choose specifically what you want to "hear". Ie. a bar that shows when the sheep effect on an enemy target run out - or in your case a bar for Hamstring (I'm guessing on a secondary target). Perhaps with a subtle sound when a cc breaks, when your healer is cc'ed or when the cooldown on the paladin's bubble is done.

A problem recent cropped up with my Grid, and I can't for the life of me solve it.
Grid refuses to show people as in range no matter how close they are, or how many times I mess with the settings. It has happened with latest version of Grid and all the older versions I've tried.
Has anyone else experienced this? Or better yet, fixed it.
EDIT: Problem solved. Nothing like deleted the grid folder to fix things.

A relatively simple question which I am sure has an even simpler answer. How do I remove/move the "target tooltip" shown in the bottom right corner on top of my mini map/Omen? I've gone into "Interface-Enable Enchanced Tooltips" and unchecked the box. However, the tooltip remains. I'm running SimpleUnit Frames, Skinner, FuBar, Omen, Grid, Buffalo2, BigWigs, Quartz, Bongos2 and oRA.

OK, so I just downloaded Tapestry yesterday, and so far I've been tweaking to fit my preferences, however, it has the dreaded addon that I have seen in the past. As far as I know, all it does is play sound clips when you kill another player. The sound clips are from Unreal Tournament, I am desperate to know which addon this could be, so I can remove it. If you'd like to see a screen of my addons, let me know. Or you could just download Tapestry UI. "11.3 Widescreen" version.

Just a quick question, for a while now i've been using a mod that set up all my addons in a certain place and it's been great, but it has been out of date for a while now but i've still been using it just so it would put each part of my interface in the correct spot. What i was wondering is if there is a easy way to do this on my own, considering i don't have the programing skills nor the patience at the moment to try and figure all that out.

There's a mod called ShaderMod that does that for crits and killing blows, do you have that installed?
If so, that's it.
If it's not ShaderMod, try doing a file search on your machine using the name of one of the sound effects, like "dominating.wav" and open the containing folder. That should be it.

For some reason when I go to add spells to a bartender3 button, there is one row of 12 buttons that looks like the Blizzard button UI (standard set of 12 buttons), and it just....wont...go...away. I have tried starting from a fresh interface and just installing bartender3, and that row is still there. I also made sure BlizzFrames were hidden in Pittbull.
Anyone know what this could be?

I'm not certain if this belong to either this topic or what's that mod?? but I belive it's here.
I've some minor issues configurating NECB. First of all, I'd like a ace2 alternative but I can't seem to find one that fit my needs. I only want to track the duration of cyclone, hybernate, root, bash, pounce, main and DRs for those. Anyway, I have the following issues:
No bar with duration for cyclone/root shows if I change target before I finish my cast. I can get it back by targeting the affectet player but it's not very appropriate.
Also I can't filter stuff like FF that I don't need. I've heard someone mention that you can shift + rightclick to remove specific effects from being shown, but it dosen't seem work.
Last but not least it only shows DR for my current target. I'd like it to stay regardless my target, atleast for cyclone.

This might sound silly, but have you made sure you have unchecked the additional Blizzard bars in the Advanced Interface options (in the game Main Menu)?
It's easily done (as it happens to me everytime I mess with my UI) - for some reason, the Blizzard bars stay on screen if they have abilities in them when you switch to Bartender (oh and it "remembers" even if you do a clean interface install by deleting /interface and /WTF)

Hello,
Firstly, apologies if this has been asked before, but a search for "Rogue Pitbull" doesn't really help matters.
(Target Cast Bar)
(Combo points on energy spark)
The cast bar on the target frame constantly messes up like this, also, on the energy 'spark' on my player frame, combo points constantly attach themself to the energy ticker (So they go up and down the frame with the spark), also, sometimes, my target frame and target of target frame are fully covered by a buff/debuff that -I- have.
The odd thing, my warrior, druid, paladin are all fine. These issues only occur on my freshly-created rogue.
Help?

ShaderMod is not installed, and the search returned nothing. I have gone through all my addons, both through my addons folder, and on the character select screen, nothing turns up that would hint to which addon it could be. However, I am sending Savantido a PM about it, I was hoping to just figure it out on my own, not bother him about it.
