Try to reset your aura settings and start over. Usually when I have this problem it's because I've turned something on that can't be turned on if that and that is off (!). So try to go from a clean start straight to what you want (instead of trying all the options out).

If that fails download Pitbull_AltAura.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, I'm not sure about the EULA/TOS, but that sounds like it borders on botting.
I understand why you would use an addon like that, but I doubt something like that would exist, and I'd closely check the terms before trying to develop that.

That's probably your best bet. Clear out your saved variables, reinstall Pitbull modules, and if those don't work, just toss AltAura in there. Seems like the easiest fix. I never had that trouble with Pitbull, but then again I've never not used AltAura.

I'm using eePanels2 and I parented some panels to the QuartzCastBar, it works fine as long as I don't relog. When I relog they just stop appearing at all, casting or not. I did the same thing to QuartzTargetBar and QuartzFocusBar and no problems there.

I googled it and found a post on the official WoW forums by a guy who had the exact same problem but the only solution they could give him was 'get a new castbar addon', which I don't want to.


And another eePanels2 related question.

I'm using simpleMinimap and I set its strata to the highest possible, however, an eePanel with its level set to 1 covers my minimap.


If anyone knows how to solve either problem it would be much appreciated.

AltAuras is working great, haven't had the problem re-occur yet.

I wasn't sure where this should go and couldn't find any more info on this, but I think few more people were wondering the same as following:

I got my new UI, I really like it, I'm quite close to perfecting, but I was wondering what could I do about the loading times. I'm using a lot of Ace2 addons, which makes the loading times really long and reason for that is that each addon has most of the Ace libraries and the UI has to load them all and check which are compatible with the addons and that is as much as I know why it's loading slow.
What I was wondering is it possible to have one addon (I have something called Ace2, which probably would do what I'm guessing, but lets continue) which has the libraries and all the other addons have those deleted from their folders? Also, using WoWAceUpdater I got a notice of thing called "Install with Externals", if recon correctly, those externals are the libraries in each addon, am I right?

What I'm asking here is just a more or less a step by step guide how to sort this... thing. Or give a link where I could find more info. Thanks in advance!

Check this page at WoWAce for information on how to get the WAU to use only one set of libraries for all mods instead of embedding the libraries in each one. (Just scroll down to the section marked "WITHOUT EXTERNALS")

Ok, I have done everything what it says there, but still, when I open a folder of some addon, there is a folder called lib and there are lots of libraries (depending on addon) should i delete those if I'm not using Externals anymore?

No...Just check off all your installed addons in the updater and then go to the file menu, and "Install/Update Marked Addons Without Externals."

EDIT: The keybindings to do this should be F4 and then SHIFT+F12

I'm having an issue with changing my nameplate font (the font that appears over your own head). No I'm not talking about a mod such as Aloft, (I use that as well) but changing the actual display font. I have tried making a World of Warcraft\Fonts folder with the font I want to use copied 4 times and renamed to the following:

ARIALN.ttf
FRIZQT_.ttf
MORPHEUS.ttf
skurri.ttf

This does not change anything for me. I also use ClearFont2 and have tried disabling it to see if the fonts would change then and they do not. It's very frustrating for me and I've been trying to find a solution to this for quite some time. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't think this font IS the one that's used for player names, but I do think that FRIZQT_.ttflooks wrong from here. That's because the real font has two underscores, not just one.

Further, I had a similar problem as yours when I renamed the original fonts in my folder. Get them out of there, renamed or otherwise, into a sub-folder or somewhere else. Just renaming them, at least for me, didn't work.

Okay, it was a misstype, there was actually 2 underscores on the original file name. I tried moving all the fonts into a subfolder like this: World of Warcraft\Fonts\ARIALN\ARIALN.ttf etc, etc... It still isn't working for me.

Yes, and it was still using the originals, wasn't it? My originals are renamed TRUE_*.ttf in a common subfolder named "fu" which seems to work just fine. Another piece to the puzzle may be removing the clearfont-fontpack addon. I believe I had to do that as well.

Renaming is correct, but I believe that we had to REMOVE the fontpack and use sharedmedia instead. Then perform the "infamous step two" action of renaming fonts.

THEN it worked.

I use Pitbull for all of my unitframes, and I'm wondering to what extent it's possible to show incoming heals on the unit frames. While playing alts with heals, I've noticed that my own heals on myself are visible as a transparent green extension to the health bar. Is there a way to get this for heals coming from other people, and on how many unitframes can it be displayed?

I have lately noticed that i get a lot of dc when im zoning and critical erros also. I have no idea why this is happening. Ihave used the repari tool dozen times now and redid my UI twice and nothing helps.
So is there any "addon" that could gather information about the reason why i get these critical erros not just the normal critical error message with file paths and stuff.

Looking for a mod that tracks my Active Ignore armor, aka Armor penetration, like that mod Tiny Attack power does. Please if anyone has one, that would be helpful thanks.

Hello. I've been fiddling with my UI, and find myself in an annoying situation. After getting everything pretty much the way I imagined it, I discovered a little cast bar, I just can't seem to get rid of. It's right above my HUD mana bar:

Also, the time displayed is not supposed to be there, but I can't figure out what that is either. I'll probably find that out eventually, but right now, the cast bar is what's grinding my groins..
