The color might have to do with the option "Target by Hostility" which I believe may overwrite the "Color by Class" for players of the opposite faction. Double check those options and make sure you don't have a custom color enabled either.

I unchecked that and now whenever I'm targeting an Alliance character, it's neon green instead of their class color but if I target any Horde character, it colors the bar by their class.

I use the default Blizzard UI for 5-man instances and Arena, but I'm wondering if there is some way to get rid of this little quirk the Blizzard UI has. I use a lot of "mouseover" macros for healing and whenever you hover over a unit frame, you get this tooltip for that player's buffs. There are often so many buffs that it obscures the health of the unit frame beneath it. I've tried other unit frames but I always come back to the default Blizzard UI... dunno, I like it. Is there some way to disable the "buff tooltip" manually?

My CyCircled skins haven't been staying applied.
My default was Vol, I would set it to VolM, cast a few spells, logout/exit the game, log back in, and it's reset to Vol.
I've updated everything involved with CyCircled about 15 minutes ago.
I'm not doing anything weird like Alt-F4'ing to quit, etc.
Any ideas?

I just fixed this tonight for myself.
/ace disable cyCircled_Vol
I suspect that cyCircled_VolM has some identical index and the mod will always find the one listed first alphabetically (or stacked earlier?) and that was causing it to use cycircled_vol.
Alternately, you can remove cyCircled_Vol if you're never going to want the gloss back, but I hate doing that. Disabling it allows the thing to find the correct one and load it.

AG_Unitframes Aura Filtering Problem
I, along with quite a few others around the globe, have been having some problems with the AG_Unitframes aura filtering option.
Basically, it used to work in such a way that enabling it, in for example parties, it only showed the buffs you could cast, and the debuffs you could dispel. Now, however, the filtering option doesn't work anymore and you see the buffs other classes can cast as well.
I've been looking around a bit, and some people came to the conclusion that might have to do with the function Unitbuff().
Now, here's the tricky part: For several of my friends who also use AG_Unitframes, their Filter Aura option still works. I had a friend take a screenshot of his UI for proof, and he also gave me a screenshot of his AddOns folder.
Afterwards, I asked him to send me his AddOn folder, including his AG_Unitframes, and I promptly deleted everything in my own AddOn folder, and my WTF/SavedVariables folders and I installed every AddOn he is using. Then I proceeded to try the aura filtering option, but still no luck.
I have now installed Pitbull, and the equivalent of the Aura Filtering Option works fine there.
Is there anyone who might have some insight as to why the Aura Filtering Option in AG_Unitframes is not working for me, but it is working for some of my friends?

Yeah, you were right.
The .lua for cyCircled indexes vol first, and once it finds the letters "v-o-l" I think it stops and loads that one because it thinks it has found the correct skin because the textures match.
The textures folders for both Vol and VolM have the same names for the textures. (i.e. pushed.tga, equip.tga)
If you look at the textures for SimpleSquare, for example, the textures are named simpleSquarePushed.tga, simpleSquareEquip.tga, etc.
The texture names are all identical for all of the Vol skins, so they'll just need disabled until the author renames his/her texture files.

Custom textures doesn't show
Hey, I'm wondering how get my home-made textures/images in to WoW using Eepanels2. I managed to convert a downloaded .jpg image, added alpha channel and everyting with CS3, saved as .tga and managed to get it into WoW. But now when I've painted my own image I do the exact same procedure but it simply wont show up in WoW. What I did was this:
1. Created a new canvas, 1024x1024, background white, RGB/8-bit.
2. Painted background black, finished my image of an actionbar, used some brushes etc to make it look like I wanted.
3. Created an alpha channel via the Channel tab
4. Selected my image, and colored it white while selecting the alpha channel. (rest of the image went red to make it transparent in WoW)
5. De-selected and saved as .tga, alpha channel checked, and saved as 32-bit and that last option unchecked (the dialogue box after the save dialogue)
6. Set the background texture for my Eepanel of choice with no result.
The same panel works if I load another texture, including the one I modified first. (The one I didnt made myself).
I've converted them to .jpgs for you to study;

Is it more than one friend, or just this one? The problem could be class related; it's possible it's only working for druids at the moment.

So, yeah, I'm really quite baffled as to why it's working for them. I also asked them to send me their UI etc, to test it out. Still no go.

My Gladiator addon(The one that shows opponent bars when you scroll over them when entering a Arena) seems to be stuck in the middle of my interface. I try left/right clicking to drag but it seems locked in place. When I go to the options in configurations I find no options about moving/unlocking. I'm just a little confused about how I'm supposed to get it out of the middle of my screen and into a more convenient location.

Sounds like Proximo which, like any other "it's stuck in the middle of my screen" ace addon, has a feature that allows dragging while you hold down the ALT key.
Is the exact name of the addon actually "Gladiator" ?

I've been trying to find a mod that I at least thought I saw on the post your UI thread. I've been searching a good half of the morning but no luck. What I read it does is make it easy to replace a chat window with omen/damage meters when in a raid setting. Does anyone know what this is or are people simply laying their omen over the chat window?

I've read remarks in that same thread about "using Dash to hide my ____" so that's what I looked for on wowinterface.com and that's where I found this link to Dash

I remember reading about that mod, but I have the distinct impression it wasn't that. I pictured/remembered it more as a way to have it as kind of a tabbed system, almost like you were switching to another tab but instead of another tabbed chat window, it was whatever you put in there (Omen, Recount, etc).
But as an added note, this looks like it could work. Thanks. I'd appreciate any other input if there's other alternatives.

I believe Caith uses a macro to hide a chat tab and replace it with omen in group/raid

I downloaded Caith and checked out the macros in the WTF folder. Didn't see anything that might do that unless we're talking some other kind of macro? I might give the Dash addon a try, but I'd like to run as lean as possible. I have tendency to use to many addons as it is.

NECB bars shifting from chosen position
Using NECB [8.3, I think] and it has started shifting vertically from the position I set it at. It'll be fine once I reset it, but after I relog/reload it shifts way up.
I truthfully can't think what mods I've added could affect it [and I've got way too many to start disabling them one at a time]. Anyone any idea on what sort of mod could cause this effect on it? [not looking for direct solution - unless someone's had the same issue - but more, pointers to find it myself]
Apart from a few, I use almost exclusively mods that are from wowace, and it's probably after an update through WAU that the bars started moving.
No screenshots available just yet - but I will if needed

Cartographer Problem
Anyone having problems with Cartographer? More specific, Mining, Herbalism and Extractor Addons.
I have this folder structure:
It's standalone, not downloaded from Ace Updater. Cartographer contains all the subfolders by default inside, and I downloaded Mining, Herbalism and Extractor addons, they are activated in Addon Screens but they DON'T track what I pick up!
Help...
