Perhaps a Skinner BottomFrame? If not, then eePanel or a viewport addon?

One thing that really struck me was the bag / menu buttons on the side and your huge exp. bar. Like Thal said, you can use Bonogs to hide elements that aren't all that useful (or at least scale them down). I don't know what all you can do with xPerl, but Pitbull has the option of including your experience bar as part of the player frame.

Speaking more generally, you have several other elements that just seem really big or unnecessary. All of your unit frames could be scaled down, and your player frame has lots of things that can removed. You should know that you're a druid, level 68, and what your name is for example, so you could remove those things and just display health/mana. Like you said, you just don't have much room to work with so any little thing that you can take off is going to help.

[e]: Some screens as per your post. Basically, to me, xPerl's display just seems really bloated and here's an alternative. I don't think of my setups as being perfect or great (or even very unique!), but I think they're a lot cleaner and simpler than perl.


The first is my paladin's player frame while leveling. The second is one member of my party frame. They display about the same information as yours with a lot less clutter.

Yeah, tried tweaking all of those. Turned off eepanels completely and various viewport settings in Skinner. Nothing seemed to work.

EDIT: Ok, figured it out. Even though I disabled eepanels in-game, it didn't completely disable until I turned it off on the add-on screen before logging in. Once I did that, the black panel was gone and I'm a happy camper.

I'm using Flexbar2 at the moment, but it has not pet bar support, so I'm also running Bartender just for the pet bar. I'm looking for a lightweight preferably Ace mod that will just handle a pet bar. I've searched wowace, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if it's possible to scale the menues in Deucecommander, or any of the other Fubar menus for that matter? Only way I can think of is increasing UI Scale, but that will break my UI and I would really hate to move everything in place and rescale them again.
Also when you right-click on the player frame, the window that appears, can it be scaled somehow? They sort of look like eachother, but I don't know if there's a connection or not.
Any point in the right direction would be mostly appreciated!

I got a question about textures, looking at Hal's UI(http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/full10707.jpg). How does she get those textures with eepanels, and on the other addons, like pitbull and the casting bar.

And an other thing, how do I anchor a panel to f.ex to an unitframe?

I would love if anyone could explain how to do this, or give me a link to where to find a guide or something like it.

Until recently, I had been using SpellWatch (wowace) to track the duration of my traps on the ground - not the duration of trap effects, just the traps themselves, and by mental extension, the cooldown. SpellWatch seems to have recently stopped working, and hasn't been updated in almost a year, so I'm looking for another mod capable of doing exactly what I described above and nothing more. Chronometer can do the trap bars like I want, but tracks everything, and doesn't seem to have a way to add and remove spells. Anyone know of a mod that does this, or a mod that's useful for tracking trap durations in general?

If you're using SimpleMiniMap (which I am), unlock the minimap frames and you will see the handle for the frame under the minimap. If you don't, I'm sure you can move it with visor.

I'm envisioning the chat tabs for my chat windows a certain way, and I thought Prat would be enough to do what I want, but I think I was wrong (unless I'm missing something).

I was hoping to have the tabs alpha be 0 and have the text of the tabs still be visible. I also wanted to change the color of the text, and perhaps have the text blink if something happens in that window. Can Prat do this?

P.S. Saw something like this in the post your UI forum but it's long buried and I don't think I can find it.

Alright so I've just about finished rebuilding my UI and i start to cast something and i see this : /



The blizzard style cast bar in the middle of the screen, i haven't the foggiest of how to get rid of it save completely redo the UI. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am looking for an addon that will help me with offensive dispels. The perfect one would allow me to bind a mouse click to a frame for dispels. The frame would have all opposing players on it. Sort of like arena frames, but with the ability to bind mouse clicks.
Also it would be nice if there was an addon that woulld announce only specific spells like ice block and divine shield (configurable).

I noticed the new Proximo2 has options for right clicking, middle mouse clicking, mouse4,5 button etc, to invoke a macro. This might work for dispelling? As for tracking, maybe a mod like antagonist set to filter for only the spells your interested in tracking. You can track the duration and the CD too so you can get a feeling of when they're about to pop it.

It looks like you are running Bongos. Try disabling the Bongos casting bar module.

I have been using the addon called; 'Cooldown Count' for some time now and never really been able to configure it.

In my case I haven't been able to configure it trough Rock and I am really wondering how I get it to work properly. I got iFrame(manager) installed and I do know the option /ifm to unlock/lock it.


Is there anything I am missing at this moment?

Been working on this UI for quite a while now, but I've come to the point where I think I'm gonna need some help. Anyways, what im looking to do is have the buff bars(quartz) circled in yellow to be visible for "Player" but there is no such option in quartz. Is there anyway to edit the lua file in quartz so that all the Buffs->Focus settings could be altered to Buffs->Player? (as per the screenshot I have myself focused and this is the exact visual I'm looking for but without having myself focused of course.)

Also, I cant seem to get my cowtip alignment to go to the right anymore? any suggestions on that?

@ 350: I'm pretty sure CooldownCount just shows a number on your action buttons. I don't remember the name of the addon you're talking about (above your minimap, right?).

I downloaded a mod pack that I'm really comfortable with, except for one thing: I use the key 'alt' to self cast very frequently, and when I press it it changes my bars to alternate bars.

I use bartender.

This is how my bars look if I don't have anything pressed:



As soon as I press 'alt', this happens:



any idea of what might be causing this?

Something to do with button paging.

Head into whichever bar you got at the top in Bartender options, open up the extended menu and go into Button Paging. The Alt modifier should be on the first slider, change it to zero or whatever that main bar is.

Alternatively, disabled the button paging for that bar altogether.

So i modified hal's ui for my own tastes but for some reason my sltimex has disappeared. Like it doesn't tell me my time, durability, gold count, or anything that mod should do. It was there in the beginning now its gone. But it does show up in my /rock config of all my mods. And also my honor fu doesn't show the amount of honor i have earned anymore or an icon that it should have.
