I guess Sorren's timers and Antagonist are the first that come to mind? But I think Antagonist is more focused on PVP CD's while Sorren's monitors more than just that.

Alright, I'll check em out.
I figured out how the GCD portion works, it was kind of a newb mistake for me. I wasn't pressing enter after I put in a spell.

I know you said you managed to fix this with a LUA change, but I thought this is simply an option within Parrot.
I have turned off the ability names in my Parrot, the icon was enough for me and I try to reduce the spam on my screen. I didnt change any LUA files, I'm sure it was a built in setting.
Maybe you're talking about the 'SCT D' section of Parrot, which I dont use.

I don't know if this is the place to ask, but i'm looking for a nameplate addon. I know of pTags and Aloft.
What i'm looking for is something as simple as pTags, BUT with a castbar showing like Aloft does. Since Aloft adds the same texture to the castbar like it does to the healtbar, it adds a castbar AND it show castbars from other targets next to you that you don't have targeted.
Aloft is heavily overloaded compared to pTags, i hope there is something in between or an option to code it into pTags.

Did you try reducing non-target frame alphas to 0% in Aloft?
I don't think you can get rid of them entirely via the config menu, but you could technically set the opacity to 0% if I remember right.

Would still love some help on figuring out how to change the status bar texture on hzfrosty...or a method of getting Class Timers to read the invisible Summon WE buff.

Fubar allows top and bottom panels to be autohidden until mouseover, but I want a detached, center panel to also autohide until mouseover. Is there any way to do this, even if I need to cut into the lua?

Is there anyway to gloss up simpleminimap like rMiniMap? Or must i download rMiniMap? Im not good with lua, so if there was a way to put the gloss effect on simpleminimap that would be sweet =).

You don't need to edit anything if you use rMinimap. The only thing MIGHT be it's scale and that's really a nobrainer to edit it in the lua - just search for scale and replace the number to a smaller/larger digit.
But basically it's all set up already, wich is the idea of using rMinimap.

Ah, i thought you had to use lua to place it also on your screen as well, guess not? Hmm, well aside from rMiniMap is there any way to do it with simpleminimap also or is rMini the only way?

I have searched and searched, they answer may be simple but i havent found it.
Using AG_unitframes is there a way to make the player bar auto hide when ooc?

I don't think so Krypt. I could be wrong, but I don't recall such an option. I really like ag unitframes but it's too simplistic for my taste (although xperl isn't all that fantastic either; it has the options that ag unitframes lacks).
Also, as far as my own UI woes go... I am having a problem with SCT Cooldowns. The mod is supposed to alert me whenever a spell comes off cooldown. This part works fine, however, when I get counterspelled, pummeled, etc, it proceeds to spam me with every spell of that tree that supposedly just came off cooldown because I was silenced. Any way around this? It's really annoying to see 15 spells spam your screen.

I've seen various videos, posts, etc., advocating the use of mods like Aperture to limit the game field viewport to a stripe across the middle of the screen, leaving black bars on the top and the bottom where buttons, charts, chat, etc. go.
The theory behind this is apparently that by getting these out of the way of the game field, you can see more.
However, when I actually use Aperture, at 1680x1050 native resolution, vertical reduction in the game field size appears to translate directly into clipping -- i.e. the black bars are removing information rather than compressing the field of view into a smaller area. So I might as well put my mods right on the game field, because at least I can give them some opacity to allow me to see "behind" them.
Am I missing something, or is there some magic aspect ratio formula which helps to calculate how to use this sort of mod without causing clipping?

Can someone please tell me if there's a way to somehow include weapon buffs in the normal buff area with Buffalo? That is, I don't want them on a separate buff panel, I want them the way they are in the standard Blizz UI along with all my other buffs. Cheers.

Im in terrible need of someone's help tbh ^^
I am a healer, and i I just bought a brand new 22" monitor. When i open up Wow i notice that my UI looks too bad on the new monitor, and I've been trying and trying and looking and looking for addons, but still cant find exactly what i need :S
I like when actionbars, buttons etc are so small as possible so that i can see as much as possible of the Wow gfx.
I feel stupid when there's too much information on my screen, and I cant relax.
Anyways, I made this picture. It explains all of the big things I want to get done =)

For the action bars ..get bartender
That will resolve your bar movability issue
as for unit frames..pit bull is best me thinks
or try classic perl

You can turn on 'target of target' in the interface options, but if you want to use a UnitFrame Addon I suggest PitBull. And congrats on the new screen

Thanks, i now got the action bars sorted, but im not comfortable with the new unitframes, so i turned pitbull off. Do you know if there is any addon that creates a targets targets target (weird xD) unitframe? I could really need it.
For example, im targetting MT in raid, who is targeting the boss. And the boss is targeting the MT. Thats all i want to see.

Hi Jemsky o/.
Try Violation instead of DamageMeters.
Pitbull and Bartender is probably best. Also get FuBar so you can get some of those MiniMap buttons away.
I prefer a square minimap for that you can use squeenix and simpleMinimap

I was under the impression the point of Aperture was to allow your computer to not render portions of your screen you couldn't see anyway, thereby improving game performance.
Aperture does not, to my knowledge, scale the rest of your UI in any way. It's just a big black don't-render-the-game-here bar.

Quick question here, what alternatives are there to importing your own art into your UI? I seem to recall having read something about either eepanels or skinner being able to do this but I've looked trough both and im yet to see any function that makes this possible.
If you could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I agree with using Bartender3. For unitframes, try Pitbull or ag_Unitframes (which is easier to configure imo).
With the larger monitor, you may find playing around with your UI Scale setting in video options makes a big difference. On my 20" widescreen I have this set to a minimum, which maximises the viewing space.

Texture problem
I can´t seem to figure out what the problem is.
Whenever I decide to change the texture on say Aloft, everything goes fine, I get my massive list of texture´s and I can click to change the texture to whatever I want.
However, if I try to do the same in say Elkano´s Buff Bars or ClassTimer I only get one option.
I can´t for the life of me figure out whats wrong. Any ideas?

Pretty sure this is an Ace2/Ace3 transition issue with SharedMedia and its associated library. Make sure all of your addons are up to date.
I'm afraid that I probably won't be of much help because I use standalonelibraries to keep problems like this to a minimum, but I had to minorly hack up my MyMedia.lua to get recent versions of ClassTimers to accept my custom textures.
