Hmm, I think BasicChatMods may fit the bill - any function can be disabled.

Has anyone figured out a way (if it's even possible anymore) to get "Windfury" and "Extra Attack" messages for WF totem/Sword spec procs using the new SCT custom events format?

I'm wondering about the positioning of the text in Eph's unitframes here:

How did he get the text of the MP where it is on the player frame, and the text of the name/etc on the target frame. I can only find options to place them in the middle of the blank space, not on the edge of the power bar. Does this require lua editing or is there something that I'm missing ?

Since there is now a default totem-timer built into the UI, was wondering if there are any add-ons improving the funcionality? Could never really get CoE to work for and Numen doesn't always time Elemental totems properly, plus some other (minor, I admit) issues. But I also don't to keep the default frame to cancel a single totem... any help?

Anyone know when an updated ace updater will be out to update all the ace addons? I updated mine twice with ace updater and all my addons are -still- out of date =/.

I assume you mean the WoW client is flagging them as out of date? This has nothing to do with the ace updater. Every addon needs to have its TOC (like an internal version flag) updated by the author.

Simply check the "Load out of date addons" box and you'll be on your merry way.

, aside from skinner not working at all and the dogtags not working everything works fine, except omen has this new look to it and it doesnt have the hal textures i have for my casting bar and pitbull, any idea why omen cant find the hal textures (i had them yesterday)?

Aside from that i take it all the ace authors are updating there toc files? I would guess the new TOC # is 20400, just guessing

Speaking of the new Omen look, does anyone know how to make it look like it used to? I like the Minimal skin much better than this new one, and not just because I can't even get the new one to show threat bars at all.

Edit: I got Omen to work fine. Another question though is does anyone else have a lot of trouble with Mik's Scrolling Battle Text? I love how customizable it usually is, although more than half the time I can't even use the menus because the buttons, sliders and drop down menus don't even work. If anyone else has this problem and knows a work around, or knows another mod that has as many features as MSBT, any help would be welcome.

Is there some kind of command or addon that will increase the range of "unfriendly name plates"? It would really help on fights where adds spawn in different location, so I dont have to panic about thinking Shadowfiends are Parasites at Illidan

Im having a problem with Parrot not displaying any text outside of the events frame, Ive double checked that other frames are enabled and the demo display test that Parrot does is functional, however when actions are performed no information is displayed. Ive gone back to SCT/SCTD for the time being but does anyone know if there is anyway to fix Parrot without editing some LUA or shall I be waiting on the author for the fix?

Did a thread search and didn't see anything mentioned, but my CowTip mod adamantly refuses to show target names in the tooltip window. Whether it be a toon, an NPC, a hostile mob, or whatever, every tooltip lists "Unknown tag SmartClass" as the name. I assume it's some tweak to the DogTag code that I'm lacking, but as I'm DogTag-illiterate, I haven't the faintest idea if that's the case or how to fix it if it is.

Anyone else out there know what I should do (besides spamming WoWAce Autoupdater, that is)?

I assume most issues that present within the next few days will be due to mods/addons that are NOT yet updated for 2.4. Everyone should just be patient, as I'm sure the mod authors are working diligently. In the mean time, with the addons that ARE updated for 2.4, if these present problems, then this thread would be the place for them to go.
If you have a fix for a mod that will allow it to function for 2.4 without being updated (e.g. DogTag fix) those would be lovely.

I logged into 2.4 last night and there's something somewhere that's causing a LOUD whooshing sort of sound effect whenever I get certain buffs like Mongoose procs.

I use AGUF, Bartender3, SCT, standard raid mods, and a number of tanking mods like tankalyze. I haven't had time to really investigate by turning things off, and don't have a complete mod list at work - sorry for incomplete information. Mostly curious if anyone else is getting this or figured out how to fix it.

I've noticed that as well, same mods you mentioned. It was so different and louder than my usual sounds that I already suspected somebody is screwing around in vent.
The "low health" warning seems to be louder now as well, or maybe this was just my imagination.

Also I'm having further issues, TinyTip doesn't seem to have been updated, at least it stopped working (well it still works, it just doesn't actually do anything). Is there some easy mod that moves your tooltip, and doesn't do anything more fancy?

Also, I have problems with the chat filters. I have two chat tabs, one left (the original) and one right (added), but whatever I set up, I always see party and guild chat in the left window. Any way around this?

I've got a minor, but annoying, problem. One of my mods, and I don't know which it is, is basically filtering out the results of rolls when people click on the need/greed button, and only shows the winner. Any idea what mod I'm using may be doing this? I thought it was Prat, but it's not. I'm leaning towards Bartender, since I've got the Roll window disabled, but I'm not sure if that's it either.

Have you looked in blizzard's interface options for "Detailed loot" yet? Maybe a misclick while you were changing some other option has turned detailed loot off.

Is there anywhere other than the SVN where I can just download Threat-2.0 and not all of Omen? I have a tank who is very addon-phobic whose threat I would like to be able to see, but he doesn't want to download the full addon.

Anyone know why my pitbull frames turn white around the the border when i take a certain sort of damage? Does anyone know how to turn it off? Also why is omen not showing the hal textures i have? =( Help appreciated, thank you.
