I have Chinchilla for my map add on...But the map is below my panel and I can't click or highlight anything on the mini map.
Anyone know how to put the mini map infront of the panel?

I may be wrong, but if you are using eepanels or something similar, locking the panel should give you clicking access?

I'm rebuilding my ui, and this time I'm trying to get along without unit frames. Seems to be going ok, but one thing is bugging me: Usually, when I right-click on a unitframe showing myself, I get a "Blizzard-Menu", giving options such as "Leave Party" or to adjust the difficulty of dungeons and whatnot. I don't want to loose that menu, but there's nowhere to right-click without unitframes. Does anybody know how to get that menu otherwise? Maybe an addon that provides it, or a "/script" makro that makes it show up? I'd even be happy about the name of that menu, because googling/searching for "blizzard menu right click" (or similar stuff) doesn't really help.

If you use kgPanels for your panel you can adjust the strata of it (to "LOW" or something like that).

It's the same for eepanels really.

If you use eepanels change the layer of the panel. I think layer 1 or 0 are below everything.

I'm having trouble with the Omen interface options:
If I set the opacity of the main window towards zero, a gray window appears which I can't get rid of:
addon folder:
When I only load Omen it works correctly, so one of the other addons must be the source of the problem, but I have no clue where to start searching. :S

Do you have a panel from eePanels parented to the Omen frame?
Is zBorder doing that? I'm not familiar with the addon, and a search on Curse, WoWI, files.wowace.com, and the EJ Forums all turn up zero results.
If you move the opacity down and then do a reloadui, does the gray frame go away?

zBorder was indeed the culprit, thanks for the help!
(Forgetting why you download certain addons for the loss >_<)

I want transparent frames for Grid, just want to see the classcolored names. But when I take the texture "Empty" it shows a black background. What do I have to do to make it transparent?

Quick question about making a new ui.
I have been testing/using new addons for a long itme now, and I have an over abundance of them in my ui folder. How do I go about getting rid of them and the saved variables properly so I dont have settings saved. I'm looking to do a complete add on wipe but I dont want any saved info from previous addon endeavors.

If I'm understanding your question right, WowAceUpdater has an option to cleanup your saved variables.

Go into your WTF folder and find the SavedVariables folder. Delete the files for the addons you dont want to keep.

Can someone explain to me how I go about anchoring/parenting an eepanel to something? I want to assign a panel for my bartender3 bars, specifically the first bar. If I type in Bartender3 Bar 1 it locks it in the middle of my screen. And is there a specific way to do it for other things like Omen, Recount, etc? Thanks in advance :3

You can parent it by first finding out exactly the name of the bartender bar. Unlock them and hover your mouse over it, and use this macro:
/print GetMouseFocus():GetName()
Once you have that, simply type that in as the parent for the panel. Sometimes it will snap to the middle, and yeah, it's annoying.
To set a panel for Omen/Recount etc, use the same macro and find the name of the item, and repeat.

Sweet, now I've got another eePanel question. Is it possible to parent my target frame to a panel and have it not show when I don't have anything targetted? I don't want a box in the middle of my screen when I'm not pew pew'ing :c
Also, is there a package other than SharedMedia for borders? SM only has 1. Thanks

Should be able to parent it in the same way and have it work. Just get the name of it. Not sure though, I've never tried, but I do that with my Grid (Only have the background showing when grid does) and it works fine.
As to the other question, no idea

I thought it'd work, too, but when I tried with Omen it wouldn't go away and just stayed in the center of my screen.

I'm having this error on Grid, with GridStatusLifebloom, only on my computer that has linux with WoW. Not my comp with Vista and Wow.
Interface\Addons\GridStatusLifebloom\GridStatusLifebloom.lua:5: Cannot find a library instance of Babble-Spell-2.2.
What could this be from?

I would say you are missing the Babble-Spell-2.2 lib (I'm clever right?).
Just grab it here with the rest of the Babble-libs http://files.wowace.com/Babble-2.2/Babble-2.2.zip

That means you're most likely parenting it to the wrong frame. Omen can be a bit of a bitch in that aspect, but for the way Omen works it had to be done that way. I had successfully parented eepanels to Omen when I still used eepanels, but I don't remember for the life of me what the frame name was....

Hi.
I'm currently looking for an addon that alters the text frame that shows quest progression (not the quest tracker) and "Discovered: <zone>". What I want is to make it match my scrolling combat text setup, or even better, integrate it into MikScrollingBattleText.
Would be great if anyone knew of such an addon. Thanks!
