I've had it happen when tanking a mob (no stance dancing) and mashing buttons that it just suddenly changes to a random bar.

I've checked to see if the modifiers where set to anything, I triple and quadruple checked paging. Tried disabling/enabling paging on several bars to see if it fixed the problem.

I can't seem to recreate the strange random bar swapping either, I've tried every possible keycombo I could possibly mash by accident while tanking/dpsing, still not any futher.
Are you accidentally cycling pages with shift + mousewheel? I did that at one point and it took me a good week or so to figure out why my bars would sometimes change while I was fighting (specifically when I was trying to zoom my camera in/out while pressing shift hotkeys).

And when I used /dash addmouse" with the mouse over it, it said 'world frame'.....lost for words on that one.
The chat frame itself won't register with the /dash addmouse commands, only the tab will. Think they are called ChatFrameNTab and ChatFrameN where N is the number of the chatframe, standard combatlog is usually ChatFrame2 I think.
So
/dash add ChatFrame2Tab
/dash add ChatFrame2
would add combatlog to dash

Hello! I'm looking for some help, this is my UI, and I'm very pleased with it.

I found out how to change border on the pitbull buff/debuffs, and so, I used the border from the World of Warcraft\Interface\Tooltips directory and used UI-Tooltip-Border.tga as a border for my pitbull auras. I thought this would be the one showing on all my borders, so I figured to place that one in my aura directory.

But it doesn't turn out as I liked, here is the screenshot.

How do I get the pitbull aura borders to look nice and clean?

Nope, turned of page cycling with modifiers (alt/crtl/shift), and when I use shift + scrolling/pressing other keys there's no page cycling.

I'm going to assume that you're using Buffalo to show you own de/buffs, so we're talking about the tiny ones under your target UF? Can't see much... perhaps you're using PB_AltAuras and changed the border in the PB_Aura folder.

Greetings,

I love tinkering with my UI all the time however, in preparation of getting a new computer I've started to look at how I can make my UI very aesthetically pleasing.

I see many people who have very nice looking textures throughout their interface and I am wondering if I could get guidance as to how to add them or play with the ones that were already in a specific compilation.

Thanks

There are some nice guides on how you use eePanels and how to make textures on the all deuce forums. EePanels is a pretty easy addon to set up tho, since you already said you liked tinkering you shouldn't have much of a problem. Not really that much to say, hard to give you help when you don't actually have a problem yet.

eePanels2 - MMOs - hosted by Singularity

What I struggled with most was to get the name of different frames so I could attach a panel to them, so a friend of me showed me this command:
/script message(GetMouseFocus():GetName())

Hello. As you can see on the picture above, I'm trying to create a UI with everything set to 0.5 alpha (50% transparency). However, I'm having some minor problems. First problem is that the minimap (I tried with both SimpleMiniMap and the one on the picture, RicoMiniMap) transparency disappears after reloading UI or login out, even though the settings still stay at 50% transparency. Since I'm having the same problem with both minimap addons, I suppose this is a quite normal issue? If anyone knows how to fix it, I would be most pleased.

Second problem: I can't find any way to change the transparency of AG Unitframes to 50%, I'm not sure if its even possible to change it on AG Unit frames since I couldn't find anything about it on wowace or google. If anyone knows how to change the alpha, I again would be most pleased. Thanks!

I have no trouble setting simple minimap transparency, and it stays where I set it. So there is probably something else that causes the problem for you.

You could use pitbull instead of AgUf, you have the same layout per default there and you can set transparency.

I've been fiddling around with pitbull's Aura.lua to try and put the buffs/debuffs over the name bit.

As you can see in the image, the buffs are properly being put over the name tag.

However, no matter how much I seem to fiddle I can't get the debuffs moving anywhere.

I'm wondering if someone can help me, possibly by pointing me towards the correct bit of code I need to edit, since I can't seem to find the proper one.

Eledorian, with PitBull_AltAura you can set the offset in WoW instead of playing with the .lua.

Looking at your ss it looks like buffs and debuffs aren't "Split" up. That might be the problem.

You can somewhat replicate this with any debuff mod with a decent filter. But it won't be perfect and it'll take time to filter the right debuffs.
Bumping a question

I just tried Aloft...and twice my entire wow froze, 1 time i had to reboot it from the power button, the other time ctrl alt delete. Also when i tried useing aloft from somone elses ui (taking the variables and such) my omen turned to this ugly default skin. Anyone have any clue as to why aloft did this or why it was only aloft to freeze up my wow?
