I cant get my party to appear when im in a raid when using pitbull. anyone know why and how i can change the setting if so.

Does anyone know if Satrina's Buff Bar has Button Facade support? I switched over to Bartender4 and Button Facade but I haven't been able to get SBB to work with Button Facade.

Yes, Satrina's Buff Bar supports ButtonFacade, but you might need an extra addon to facilitate it. It would have a name like satrinabuffbar_buttonfacade or buttonfacade_satrinabuffbar.

I just installed Bartender4, and am unable to custom keybind some of my bars. When I go through the WoW Keybinds menu, I can keybind anything in the first bar (Action Bar 1 I think it's called from memory) to any key, however the following bars I cannot keybind through the default menu, or Bartender4.

Is there a setting I've overlooked, or a mod that will allow me to add keybinds in?

Have you tried using the KeyBound library that BT4 packaged with? Hit /kb, see if that helps.

I just recently completely reinstalled WoW and all the addons, so I'm perplexed as to why debuff filters is bugging out.

The issue I'm seeing is that the "cooldown count" feature on "Player Buffs" ONLY (Works fine with debuffs) will disappear after about 8 seconds or so. The icon will still remain up until the buff times out, the cooldown count will only reappear upon a new application of the buff, not a reapplication....example Slice N Dice buff, new buff starts out at ~30 sec will cooldown count down to about ~22 sec then the cooldown count will disappear, if i SnD again before it wears out, the cooldown count does NOT reappear, it will only reappear after i let SnD run out and then put SnD up again. But tracking the cooldown count of Rupture and Deadly Poison on my current target works just fine.


Also, i Really like this mod, but is there an ACE equivalent?

I'm not sure if its some sort of conflict with other mods, or if Dfilter is bugged out.

Try Elkano's Buff Bars. It has a really good debuff filtering system and, if I remember right, it has the ability to place the debuff duration on the icon. Definitely has the ability to place the duration on the bar, but you can also get rid of the bar and just have the icon if you like (that's how I use it, though I don't like digital duration displays, so I prefer using a cooldown spiral).

I'm looking for an addon that can move screen elements around. I've tried Visor2, Moveit, Moveanything, among others and it seems like they are all either A) Buggy, often resetting the position of screen element upon relogging OR B) They lack functionality and can only move frames that are built into the addon- often missing frames I want to move.

Is there something out there that actually works well? I'm rather picky about where I want everything to be on screen.

If you're really picky about the screen elements, try replacing them with mod equivalents. That is, unless you feel like picking up basic LUA coding and using Roth's mods to do your interface.

The problem is, that as soon as people want to move screen elements, they typically also want to customise them, and thusly want an addon that makes a replacement element.

Hey I don't know if anyone has a similar problem, but i was looking for a way to hide my grid in arena. I find that it makes me concentrate on healing too much and not play as offensive as I need to. I like to use my pitbull party frames and bind my party members instead. I have Grid setting to show when I am in a raid, and i have my pitbull set to show 5-man raids as party, and to hide party in raids. I am very familiar with grid and pitbull and I can't find a way to hide my grid in arena other than to just turn it off. If anyone has any idea how to do this please let me know.

Well following the above recommendation to go to Elkano's Buff Bars.
Its not as nice as dfilters was, but it is definitely comparable. I'm still hoping dfilters gets fixed or i can figure the bug out.



In the meantime I am having one minor issue with Elkano's Buff Bars.

I have it tracking Rupture and Deadly Poison Debuffs. Is there anyway to have it show only my debuffs and not the other rogues? I've tried a couple things but nothing has worked yet.

Also the person who recommended this mod to me made it sound like it could have some sort of cooldown count, or spiral count. Where is this option at?

I'm looking for a fairly customisable non-Ace unit frame add-on, similar to PitBull or agUF. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Has anyone found the perfect priest healing UI yet? Or at least close to perfect? I don't like the way mine's currently setup and I'm bored with it and need something new... any suggestions?

I have finaly decided to stop being lazy about customizing my UI and do it up proper to make my game play as efficient as I can. My current UI:

I am looking for recommendations of mod catagories that I should be browsing on Curse, Ace, and other UI sites to find the mods that will let me achieve my goals. If anyone knows a mod right off the bat that would help me move towards reaching my UI enhancement goals then by all means please feel free to post your recommendations.

The only thing I'm thinking when looking at that is...where are you putting your chat/combat logs?

Beyond that, I would say try out Bartender3 over at Ace for a bar mod, and definitely pick up the highly configurable Pitbull Unit Frames from Ace also. You'll have to mess around a lot with Pitbull but the time is well worth it; it can do everything you need and more, and make it look just about any possible way you ever want (99% of UFs you see in pictures on EJ are Pitbull). Be sure to turn off any modules you don't need at the beginning, and then slowly work your way down the list of configurations (in other words, take it piece by piece!)

Next, I would look at maybe a minimap mod, even though you didn't list one. Options from Ace can include Chinchilla or Simple MiniMap (my choice).

Finally, with your bars, consider the fadeout option available on just about every bar mod. Use it for less-important things, like Arcane Brilliance/Intellect, all your shields, your mana gem conjuring, etc, things you don't need to use in combat. That will save you a ton of space.

Also, while it's a bit more "advanced," look into something like EEpanels, as what you described at the bottom there sounds like it might look good with some panel work. That's purely for looks though

I think I want to put the chat log in the top left corner. I use tabbed logs as seeing my combat log in the middle of a fight is useless. I was also planning on leaving the minimap in the top left corner. I may consider centering it at the top though. Is there a mod that lets me link hot keys directly to spell in my book without me having to take them out of the book? And then perhaps would also allow me to create action bars to put spells with long Cooldowns and macros on it and then perhaps would fade em out unless they are cooling?

As for the other half...I dunno...Jim's Cooldown Pulse announces it in a fun and handy way, but I don't know of any addon that would do what you described.

I currently use Chinchilla for my map mod and I use Minimap Button Frame to hide all my mini map buttons... But whenever I enter a new zone or click on the Minimap Button Frame icon the map will shoot across the screen to a random spot...

Anyone know how to fix this? The map is locked by the way...
