I fixed this (with Prat still enabled) by disabling timestamps on my general chat window. I have no idea if it's a bad interaction with another mod, but toggling that checkbox made my chat go away and come back like clockwork. I don't really need the timestamps so I haven't looked into it any further.

tekticles is the way a lot of people seem to be going. It does require some manual editing if you don't like Calibri (it has no config UI), but is very lightweight and plug-and-play beyond that.

Seems like this old addon called "Statusbars" doesn't work correctly after new patch. It doesn't update energy and combo points correctly. Is there fix for this. And if there isnt one yet could someone try fixing it.

You should be able to copy the pitbull config files from the WTF folder from one account to another.

Hey all, just a quickie. Having updated to the new Prat since 3.0, when typing in a chat log the text appears at the bottom, whereas before it would be above as my chat log is right at the bottom of the screen. Is there any way to make it appear above the chat log?

Editbox module, one of the 5 tabs gives you a list of modules and options to kill, disable, or run each.

With Aloft not working at present, I decided to try out evl_Nameplates I've seen recommended here, but it didn't appear to be working either so I removed it as well as all the associated files in the WTF folder etc. Now I can only seem to get either Pitbull OR Fubar to function at a time, but not both. I've tried copying over completely new updated versions of both of these addons and cannot for the life of me figure out what changed, or how evl_Nameplates could have possibly changed either of them (or if it was the cause in the first place). No one else I know with both of these addons seems to be having this problem, though. Any possible idea? This is driving me insane.

I have tried copying every file tagged as a pitbull file, and even tried copying everything from one account file to the other but it still wont let me load the profile options or anything.

Does anyone know how to stop OmniCC from displaying text timers on pitbull aura buffs? I'm not even sure its OmniCC doing this but its driving me nuts.

This is what I'm talking about, its rallying cry of the dragonslayer on an npc and it says "35m".

I think it's Pitbull.
Pitbull -> Global Setting -> Aura -> Cooldown Text

Edit: And a question of my own.
I'm using CowTip and Pitbull, but with the patch it stopped showing tooltips for players out of range (like physically not on my screen). I've tried fiddling with the setting, but now it just says "mouse over" on the tooltip (again, only out of range units).
Anyone know whats going on?

I would be truely indebted to anyone who could tell me either a option in the default UI or any addon that will remove the black 'quick filter bar' from the top of any combat logs created. I've manged to removed the text links to specific filters and made it disappear most of the time, but it still shows up when moused over and creates a rectangle of dead space you can't click through.

does somebody know of an addon which save the state of my current "desktop" and let me switch between profiles for all addons easily?

Eg. I'm a shaman and I would like to have an enhancement, elemental and healer desktop with different bars, unitframes, etc. shown and I would like to switch between them depending on my role in the current raid.

Currently I'm using different clients for this and the one addon I found that does this is OpenRDX, which looks like a nightmare to set up.

I've been trying out my enhancement shaman and fury warrior since the latest patch, and feel like I really need a mod to control a limited set of buffs and show me when they are up. For example, all the new shaman maelstrom procs, as well as the instant-slam proc for my warrior.

At the moment, I have my buffs up in the top-right of the display, so, if I miss the SCT notification that the procs have occurred, I often miss the fact that the buffs are there. I know I should be watching the buffs in the top-right all the time, but often my attention is focused elsewhere. Is there any mod that I can use to just select the relevant procs and buffs, and have them moved to somewhere else?

Ideally, I'd like them near my unitframes, which I keep near my actionbars towards the bottom of the display.

Like supplicum said, PowerAuras can do this by showing certain graphics when things proc or you gain a certain buff.

Buff/debuff bar mods can also do this if they support filtering. Take a look at NeedToKnow, Elkano's Buff Bars, and Satrina's Buff Frames.

In regards to the chat problem (not being able to see party/raid and so on).
For me the problem went away by disabling BigWigs bossmods.
I tried Prat3.0, Chatter, standard chat and evertime bigwigs activated my chat was gone.
I now run the combination of pChat and DBM and it seems to work.

Maybe that helps.

Has anyone run into an issue where one of their mods is somehow displacing the achievement window so that it is partially off the screen?

Mine is displaced upwards such that the top centimeter or so is off the screen.

I know that disabling all of my addons fixes the issue, so it must be one of the 50+ addons I run, but if someone else has narrowed it down I'd love to save the hour of disabling addons one by one.

I'm assuming you're talking about the actual achievements pane, not the achievement tracker? I can't help you, but I came to this thread to post a similar question - my achievement TRACKER is now displaced so that only the heading is visible at the very bottom of my screen. I believe it started happening when I installed Satrina's Buff Frames, which is frustrating because I would like to continue using this addon. Before the achievement tracker was located in the middle on the right-hand side of my screen, and now it appears to be attached to my minimap, as it is displaying a little bit below and to the left of Simple Minimap.

Is there a way to move my achievement TRACKER?
