I got rid of oRA2 because I realized the only reason I was using it was tank frames. I tried out MainAssist for these frames, but it only gets CTRA/oRA2-style tank setting, not ones set in the Blizzard UI. I'm trying to find one that displays both, or at the very least, just the Blizzard ones, and I have not had any luck so far. Any ideas?

Pitbull has settings for tank frames, and I believe they're tied to the Blizzard setup, as Pitbull is not itself a raid mod. The frames should be enabled by default (which makes forgetting about them when installing, and then jumping into a raid, very interesting).

I'm having some problems with my UI, nothing major. I'm trying to reduce the number of buttons and action bars that I use, however, there's plenty of need for things like consumables, quest items, macros, and various class related spells.
I have three characters - a Paladin, a Druid, and a Warlock. The paladin is a tank, the druid is a healer, and the warlock is short. The spells that I use in combat are able to fit on just one bar on all my characters - that's fine.
However, I'd like some way to organise all my available consumables, spells that aren't on my bar, and macros in one handy place. I've tried Autobar, but it's a pain the rear to configure, and it doesn't quite cover all the bases (paladin seals for instance, as well as greater blessings).
Oh, and did I mention it's difficult to configure?
I guess I'm looking for something like sphere, but a bit more automated would be great. Any ideas?

Try Geist Geist @ WowUI
Provides up to 25 buttons that are revealed on keypress (use /geist bind to set this up initially), on your cursor location. Perfect for consumables, usable quest items, buffs and rarely used spells/macros. I've just found this, and initial playtesting is very favourable indeed.
Shows how it appears when partially filled, and how it looks when adding extra bits.
Alternatively, you could use bongos/trinity/bartender, set up a bar to show on mouseover, which I have also used. Geist gets the thumbs up from me as it is right by your cursor, making quick clicks feasible, rather than having to remember where the hidden bar is, mousing over it, then clicking.

I was a big fan of Geist on my mage--I kept all my portals and teleports there, my gem conjures, amplify/dampen magic, slowfall, etc. I swapped mains to my druid shortly after TBC and noticed a little problem. Geist just uses some buttons from the normally unused bars, but since I had so much bar switching going on for my druid, Geist was unusable (it would have some random bear/cat/caster abilities on it).
So if you have a stance swapping character, try Geist with them. If it works for you, it's a pretty handy addon. I just didn't have room with my caster+shift caster bar, bear bar, cat bar, cat stealth bar, and the miscellaneous hidden bars I assign to stuff like my mouse and numberpad.

Combat Lag
I'm looking for a way to determine which of my mods is causing me to lag briefly when entering or leaving combat. I've tried the process of elimination but I wasn't able to narrow down any particular mod as the culprit. Basically I get 1 or two seconds of lag any time I enter or leave combat as well as during certain events in PvP including several crowd control effects. Normally for PvE I can ignore this, but it's absolutely aggravating in the arena. Really what I'm asking is if anyone else has experienced this or better yet, knows the cause(s) or fix(s). Are there any tools I could use to help me determine which mod could be causing the problem? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I'm posting at work, so I don't have access to my gaming machine. However, if it would help, I can post a list of all my mods when I get home tonight.

I've been having issues with SimpleCombatLog not working right on some of my toons, or just not showing up at all. Any have this issue or have another mod that will do the same thing that has been updated?

Satrina's Chat Frame Extender isn't updated for 2.4, so I was hoping I could get some suggestions for what to use. Features I'm trying to get:
Timestamps
Mousewheel scroll
Short channel names
Chat edit box draggable
Tiny mods (e.g. not Prat) preferred.. and I'm fine with using 4 addons if that's all they do. Anyone know any 2.4 ones that fit the bill?

I've been using Minimalist to do this for ages, but I'm not sure yet if it works with 2.4. It also does some other things, but you can disable them if you don't need them.

Hmm, I think BasicChatMods may fit the bill - any function can be disabled.

Has anyone figured out a way (if it's even possible anymore) to get "Windfury" and "Extra Attack" messages for WF totem/Sword spec procs using the new SCT custom events format?

I'm wondering about the positioning of the text in Eph's unitframes here:
http://infetu.com/o2a.jpg
How did he get the text of the MP where it is on the player frame, and the text of the name/etc on the target frame. I can only find options to place them in the middle of the blank space, not on the edge of the power bar. Does this require lua editing or is there something that I'm missing ?

Since there is now a default totem-timer built into the UI, was wondering if there are any add-ons improving the funcionality? Could never really get CoE to work for and Numen doesn't always time Elemental totems properly, plus some other (minor, I admit) issues. But I also don't to keep the default frame to cancel a single totem... any help?
