I've been having this same problem. The things I have discovered.
- It only happens in a raid for me.
- It only happens in combat.
The way to reproduce it is to type who and press escape. Once the social window is up, the escape key stops working. You can't use it to remove the social window or to deselect a target. You cannot bring the game window up via escape.
The only way to fix this is:
- leave combat
- not only must you leave combat, you must type /who to bring the social window up. This brings it up and once clearing it, you can use the escape key to clear your target and access the game menu again.
I did the following to test:
- removed all mods/wtf, blank interface, it doesn't happen.
- added ctbarmod and ctmailmod, it doesn't happen.
- added ctcore and it happened.
- removed the ct mods, and tried bigwigs the main mod only, it happened.
- removed bigwigs and tried fubar only and it happened.
By removing the mods i mean remove the folders (with updated externals) from my interface folder so the wrong library doesnt get loaded. I tried without externals and it still happened. The latest ct versions were used, as were the latest acemods, updated via wowaceupdater.

Having some trouble with Prat. I have two chat windows, one right aligned. On the right aligned chat box, item links are moved off to the left of the actual link. So I have to click in blank space to view the link. The option designed to fix this doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

2) Add BattlefieldMinimap as the parent
3) Add a script and put this in it:

Right, apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm wondering can anyone help...
I'm looking to get some kind of mod which will alert me when a buff is about to run out. When I say alert I mean something like flashing the screen or throwing up a trigger ala an SCT or Parrot critical event.
I've got ze Darkmoon Card: Crusade, and want to know when I hit 4 secs left on the buff so I know to refresh it fast. Don't want to have to keep checking my buffs for it manually.
Any ideas?

Elk Buff Bars - You can set up custom locations for buffs of various names or durations, it's really slick; you can see some of this above the unit frames displayed here:

Hey there guys and gals. Currently I am getting an odd error with my UI which prevents me from seeing my tooltips. The error gets logged in my Bugsack and reads as follows.
Interface\FrameXML\PaperDollFrame.lua:1160: Usage: GameTooltip:SetOwner(frame):
Interface\FrameXML\PaperDollFrame.lua:1160: in function `oldItemRack_PaperDollItemSlotButton_OnEnter':

I would like to replace the Dialogue type border with Zork's border. How would I do this? Can I simply copy the file and rename it, or do I have to go into more detail. I would greatly appreciate any help on this.

Hmmm, I tried EBB ages ago and hated it, I really, really don't like how it takes up so much screen estate for displaying buffs.
I'll give it a shot if nothing else turns up and see if it still produces the same loathing as it did last time.
Any other ideas?

If you use EBB you can filter buffs so that only the Darkmoon Card: Crusade buff will appear on your EBB bars and then anchor them wherever you want. that way you will ahve the buff bar all along by itself, however it wont have a warning, but it will be very easy to see.
Also had a question of my own:
just updated mods a few days ago (all ace mods cept for a few but they wont be the problem) and i now have those buff bars in the middle of my screen above left of my target. the work for buffs and debuffs and i cant figure out how to get rid of them.
my only thoughts:
pitbull
necb
ebb
dotimer
dont have any clue outside of those but i cant figure out anything inside those mods that would be doing it

I still can't figure out how to get Bongos to let me do my druid forms. I'm using Bongos2 and it won't automatically switch bars for me, so my forms are sort of ineffective since i have to manually page the action bar.

Need some help with parrot. For hots, it adds up the total healed when i just want a single tick.
ie, the excessively long +411 [110 OH] [2 heals] should just read +261 or +151 [110 OH]. Tag for hots is set to "[Name] +[Amount]".

Silly question but I am currently using Hourglass2, that I found on someone's compUI. I downloaded it just for that.
I can't find Hourglass2 anywhere. Hourglass is on files.wowace.com but it's just hourglass and not hourglass2. Here's the stupid question. Are they the same thing? If not does anyone know where I would be able to find Hourglass2. I've checked all the normal UI/Mod sites with no luck.

One minor detail I've found that goes pretty far in cleaning up the overall UI look is having bar mods all use the same bar texture where appropriate/possible. Your cooldowntimer&capping both have flat textures, your quartz is using gloss(?) and your unitframes are using something else. Most of these can all be modified to use the same texture.
The same can generally be done with fonts.
It's all personal preference of course really.

Is there anyway to move that new minimap tracker? Or go back to using vtrack and have what your tracking said on your map? Might i also ask: did anyones buffalo buffs all of a sudden get a dream layout outline around your buffs?

There is a setting in the parrot configuration somewhere that combines all heals recieved within x seconds, reduce this to zero and it will fix it. I can't tell you the exact setting because I am not at home right now.
