In addition to what Heeno, suggested; for your Warlock I'd suggest also looking into EvemtHorizon.

I searched for a while (in this forum and on curse) for an addon that can do the following, maybe someone could help me.
Like in MSBT I want to create a few triggers and then send an custom message to the raid chat (or system chat frame) when they happen instead of the SCT area. For example something like:
Aura gain => "Wild Magic"
Output => "[Actor] uses Potion of Wild Magic"
I found one addon (Chat Event Manager) but as far as I can ascertain, it only scans the normal chat frame and not the combat log.

WoW Add-On for Multiple PC User Accounts
Problem - I have 3 User Accounts on a Windows Vista 64bit SP1 PC.
After searching the forums, the add-on issue discussed is sharing settings between multiple PCs by copying the interface and WTF folders to the other computers. In this case, it's one PC with multiple users where only the primary user where the program and add-ons were initially installed under is allowed to use the add-ons. The other users can only see 4 add-on. I listed the add-ons viewable and not viewable by all users below. I THINK the issue is likely a Windows Vista UAC problem, but I'm not sure.
WoW Add-Ons are installed in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns. The primary user (has admin rights - I'll call User 1 for referencing) is able to execute WoW and fully utilize all the installed add-ons. User 2 and User 3 can open WoW, but only have 4 add-ons available for use:
Viewable Add-Ons
- Addon Control Panel
- Inflight
- Talent Planner
- Nirriti's Talent Switch
Non-Viewable Add-Ons
- Ace2
- ArcHUD2
- ArkInventory
- Armory
- Atlas
- Bartender
- Cartographer
- Clique
- DBM
- Lighthead
- Outfitter
- SmartBuff
- Titan
- XPerl
There's a few other small ones, but you get the idea. I've tried copying the Virtual Store from User 1 to User 2 with no change. This references the folder and contents at C:\Users\User1\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft. All users have read and execute permissions on the WoW folder and sub-folders. Rebooted since users were created with no change (typically Windows, when in doubt reboot). Other references I have found refer to a C:\Users\Public\Game folder that was supposed to be installed after the last Patch 3.0.2 that does not exist on my PC. Found the character information is added to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\[account_name]\ for User1. The character information for User2 is not added. Changed User2 to have admin rights, started WoW, accessed a character and exited the program. The character info was not appended to the folder for this user.
The problem appears to be a Windows Vista UAC issue, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

I'm having some trouble with NeedToKnow.
I have it configured to show 2 of the panel groups. 1 group is configured for my buffs, to the right side of the screen. The other group is configured to show debuffs on my target. I have it configured to show only debuffs that I cast, but have noticed that it shows the debuffs I have configured regardless of who cast them. I've been in raids with other DKs, and NeedToKnow displays that my target has Frost Fever, Ebon/Blood Plague before I start casting anything at all. Is there a way to resolve this issue so it only shows those debuffs that are from my castes?

If at all possible, how do you change the background colour of bars in PitBull4? I'd like dark red or something to increase the contrast between backgrounds and health bars, compared to the default black in this screenshot:
It seems like it should be possible to do that, but I can't find it anywhere in the configuration dialog.

It's been a ticketed idea and something I believe CK said he was trying to do, It's all I'm waiting for to be fixed until I swap.

The character linked in your profile appears to be below level 10. This may account for your poor Patchwerk DPS.

A question to the users of ForteXorcist. My problem is the spell timer. As a warrior tank, I want to see the duration of Thunder Clap, Sunder Armor and Demoralizing Shout. I basically disabled any other things that can be shown. But here's the problem: I can also see Totem of Wrath. I tried disabling some things to remove it, but it occurred that once I disable Totem of Wrath, my Thunder Clap and Demo Shout disappear too. Is there a way to manually edit a file to determine what is shown and what isn't?
Another question about ForteXorcist:
The spell timer seems to merge buffs and debuffs into one module. Is it possible to separate the buff I have/am getting from the debuffs I apply and have 2 separate sets of bars?
EDIT: spelling

I deleted clearfont2 in favor of clearfont3. Much to my dismay, clearfont3 is broken at the moment. I tried out fontain, and wasn't really impressed. I'm now checking out sharedmedia and sharedmedia fonts. Is there any way to get a specific font out of there to override everything? Default wow fonts, menus, names?

In Pitbull 4 I have noticed that the buffs on friendly players has a red border, but debuffs are also red. I have tried to look around for a way of changing the colour but to no avail.
Fixed: Found it in the LUA

Have you tried to run WoW with elevated rights? I had an odd issue with WoW on Vista always prompting me to accept the license agreement every time I launched the game until I did so. To do it, unfortunately, you can't do so from the start menu (I believe). Just right click the launcher.exe in the WoW folder and one of the options should be to run in an elevated mode. You will get a UAC prompt as well, because of the elevation. Don't forget that in Vista, just straight out admin rights isn't enough anymore.

Better than that is to simply install WoW to your Desktop. The problem is that, by default, you don't have the permission needed to alter things in the Program Files directory (which is a good thing). The other thing you can try doing is set yourself as the owner of the WoW folder (and make sure you set yourself as the owner, with full permissions, and make the change recursive).

I'm not entirely sure whether this is the right place to ask, but I have no idea where else to post it.
Problem:
At random moments in the middle of a bossfight in 25man raids my UI fully locks up. When this happens all my (de)bufftimers (EBB/Scorchio), my Unitframes (Pitbull3), my castbar (Quartz) etc just freeze. I do still see HP-changes on my MT-frames (Ora) and Poweraura's still displays procs, but everything else just seems to lock up completely. When it's really bad I can't even type in chat anymore. I noticed this happens when my Fubar-PerformanceFU shows near or over 100MiB in Addon memory usage, but I can't check which addon it is specifically as that doesn't work anymore either at those moments.
At first I thought it might be related to recount having collected too much data, or my Pitbull Dogtags which I had changed a few days before it started happening. So I disabled all my dogtags, disabled recount and started reloading my interface after every bossfight in case anything else would be saving up data somewhere. This didn't help at all. The lockups can happen hours after I last reloaded but they can happen just minutes after I did it as well, I can't find any patterns in it except that it only happens during 25m bossfights, I've not had it happen anywhere else.
I did try to disable about half of my addons and only kept those I couldn't live without (which is still a fair few) and it did seem better. I didn't experience any more lockups for the rest of that evening, but the next raid they started again while I was still playing with the same addons as the night before.
I assume it must be an addon problem, but I have no idea how or where to start looking. In case it's needed, a full list of addons can be found here, I don't have all of them enabled all the time though.
If anyone had any similar problems or could help me fixing it without having to start my UI from scratch (no time for that right now) it would be extremely appreciated.

Are you also having severe framerate drops during these times as well? After the fight ends, do things return to normal? The issue might not be with your addons, but in the overall load the game is putting on your system. Try turning down the graphics options for spell effects and similar things to see if that improves your gameplay. Granted, it won't be as pretty, and there's always a chance that important visual clues about boss abilities might be affected by turning things down too low, but it's another diagnostic step in the chain of fixing the problem anyway.

No, there is no specific FPS drop when my UI locks up and I'm already playing with all graphical settings at the minimum so can't change much there.
When everything locks up it simply stays that way, it doesn't return to normal after the fight ends. A reload during combat results in the game shutting down as if I'd alt-f4'd instead. Reloading after combat ends usually puts everything back to normal, except for the really bad freezes where I can't even type in chat anymore. At those times my only choice is to alt-f4.
I know a better system would solve a lot of other issues I have with WoW but so far I've never had any problems as annoying/frustrating/serious as this.

1.) The green and red layer around your buffs/debuffs is just there because your buffalo is unlocked. Simply type /buffalo lock and this should go away.
2.) To solve your issue with the debugging spam go into the Grid menu and disable the debugging in the according submenu.

I did a quick search but I didn't turn up anything helpful so here goes.
I was recently linked Kollektiv’s Kool Mods For Kool Kids | Arenacast - a nameplate castbar mod that shows everyones cast bars, not just your current target. Obviously useful in arena and such (which is why I assume it defaults to arena only), but I was hoping to find some way of turning it on all the time for FoK interrupting on a few ulduar hardmodes, and just for general BG play.
I'm not much of a lua genius. Is this even possible?
