I'll say this, I've tried ALL of the online wow-character template websites, and wasn't happy with any of them. All of them are just too "sluggish", have poor interfaces, or other aspects that just really make it irritating to use. I recently re-tried CTprofiles again however, and was actually delighted, partially because I was already familiar with it, and because it wasn't AMAZINGLY SLOW.
The item searching feature, while mostly nonexistant that I know about, is still the classic "massive dropdown box of every item in the game for that slot", which conveniently supports just typing in the item name as it hones in on that specific item. I much prefer that to the Javascripted or whatever super spammed graphical interface search options of the many other template sites.
Warcrafter is a perfect example of what I think most people AREN'T really looking for on a template side. It loads in about 100 different graphical icons on the page, and nothing is a smooth, quick response-time. Not to mention the enormous, massive overload of information that you might not care about in the least at that moment, yet it's still all in your face. I really find that needless and just adding to load times and difficulty seeing what you want to see.

I made a few profiles, and it was just amazingly painless, so I'm very glad CTprofiles is back - it will always be better than the alternatives, I think.
