The main thing i still wish i could replace... Is there an addon that will show cooldowns (long ones like soulstone / battle rez / shield wall / etc) of your current target when you select him, and disappear when you deselect, and reappear when you reselect etc just like the old NECB?

Antagonist does this as far as I know.

And quite nifty with the icons, if you ask me It doesn't do everything that necb did (cast bars for instance aren't in), but it does enough for me and I would recommend it.

I'm currently using Natur EnemyCastBar and Hourglass as a supplement. Nothing I find provides the feel I have with Natur. I tried some of the other ace mods, and it just seems like since Natur has a modularity built in it's my best option. Personal opinion tho. I just wish they'd let me modify hourglass more

I know this seems rather anal but I really liked how Natur's placed the time remaining outside of the box to the right. So if you had Quartz going you could see like a stack of timers.

Most other DoT and Debuff tracking mods seem to want to place the timers within the frame along with the description of what the debuff is which makes keeping track of half a dozen timers much more difficult.

If anyone has seen a mod like Natur's that places the timer outside the frame and description within it then I'd love to try it.

The only thing RWMod does is PvP gains/cooldowns/drs. The DR feature is nice, but this mod appears to be in a very beta stage. For now, Afflicted2 is going to be the best bet for the PvP aspect of NECB, but I still can't find a mod that handles all of the information the way NECB did, via targetting, and neither mod shows debuffs on mobs you've selected. Call me crazy, but I'm still praying for a working NECB the way it used to be. I hope someone takes the reigns since Beladona appears to have given up due to lack of time/hep.

This is what I've been using for my DoT timer and its been working beautifully! It does not show DRs, but it does keep tracking dots on all the targets that you've cast on, and the bars disappear when the target dies (which is a problem with NECB right now). Its very easy to configure and customize, and its very clean looking.

Honestly what's needed is a "bigwigs for timers." Something that simply acts as a core, providing anchors and options, while allowing others to write plugins for it (pve abilities, pvp abilities, trash respawns, etc. etc.) That way everyone gets what they want.

This is my current problem with RBM, which I've been using as a replacement for NECB. It's really awesome so far, but the major problem is bars not disappearing when mobs die, and self-gains like clearcast not disappeaing when used. The boss timer modules are great, as is the ability watch module.

If you're just interested in CC durations and DR, check out DR Tracker. Same author as Afflicted.

If you're only interested in enemy interrupt CDs, try InterruptBar.

Well, I found this Thread via google. I hope it's ok to dig it out as it really fits my needs.

I am looking for a replacement for NECB either. But actually the reason, why I am looking for something else is because I don't get NECB looking the way I want to. I know that you can disable/enable durations on your focus target (displayed with a different symbol) but the way these bars are showing up is really unintuitive.

To make it precise I am looking for a mod which:

can display durations in two groups (one for your taget, one for the focus)
saves these durations when target switching
has an option to adjust these groups to your needs (fixed positions for stuns, like in NECB with category mode)

a nice plus would be a casting bar in addition.

As mod for unit frames I am currently using x-pearl. If these things can be realized with another unit frame mod I would be open for that either.

I've been using RBM with the ability watch module.. seems to work fairly well. It does need some pre-configuration tho.

Well, I found my replacements now. Instead of NECB I switched to a combination of Classtimer and Quartz

While taking the castbars from quartz I use the debuff display from classtimer because it allows easy filtering.

So now that RBM's broke, I've switched to Ellipsis & Afflicted. I highly recommend Ellipsis for self-timers of dots/hots/cooldowns. I'd love to see RBM get an update, but unless someone picks it up, looks dismal.

I'll likely get around to updating RBM for 3.0 fairly soon if apoco is truly MIA. I have some major changes for the configuration to make it much simpler to setup, but that's probably some time away.

Settings are a tiny bit confusing, but a 3.0 update would more than suffice at this point. Much like way NECB was, too much more for the addon wouldn't be necessary. Only maintenance, basically.

Softrix has picked up the lead on this addon and is working on it as we speak. It looks like it wont be long before we actually have Natur Enemy Castbars back to its old glory, thank god!
