Couldn't run rBars on the beta so I modified it a bit.
Not an LUA expert so I'm sure its not super efficient but it beats LUA errors.
If anyone wants it just send me a PM.

I'd like to try that whole layout. Any chance you could post an updated download for it?

Hmm, rBuff correctly skins the very first buff I gain, but everything else has the hideous blizzard border, and it spams me with:
Interface\AddOns\rBuff\rBuff.lua:85: attempt to index local 'b' (a nil value)
[C]: ?
Interface\AddOns\rBuff\rBuff.lua:85: in function `checkgloss'
Interface\AddOns\rBuff\rBuff.lua:30: in function `runthroughicons'
Interface\AddOns\rBuff\rBuff.lua:21: in function <Interface\AddOns\rBuff\rBuff.lua:10>
EDIT
Commented out the SetAlpha, and uncommented the b:Hide, like the previous version. It now seems to work fine for me. Thanks hugely, I adore this buff addon!
--b:SetAlpha(0)
if b then b:Hide() end

Zork is there anyway to add HPs to the Orbs? I will automatically admit that I have no idea about coding or any of this.

Zork, big fan of you UI. Just curious will you be updating rUnits? because as beautiful as the orbs are I just cant seem to get away with them.

Back again. The fixed version has swallowed Temp Item Enchants (oils etc)...
Edit:
Ignore me, I'm an idiot. I had temp enchants in the old rBuff set to a different border colour, which seems to be disabled in the new one. I added it myself and they're working fine. I was just missing them amongst the buff spam since 3.0.2.
Some sort of addon that filters out buffs I really don't care about is next on my shopping list...

rFilter2 is available. It does buff/debuff tracking for every unit you like.

I'm suffering pretty bad fps drops in raids, particularly in combat. Example: Waiting to pull Muru, 45 fps. In combat with Muru, 18 fps. This is similar for the vast majority of raiding areas. Solo in Shat I'm sitting at around 40-60, Terokar is around 100, and Durotar is around 250+. All pretty low view-distance/spell-detail settings, with a 3.1ghz CPU, 4gig ram, 9800GX2.
Needless to say, I'm not impressed and pretty sick of it. So I was hoping to gain some fps with wise mod choices. I'm told the rmods and oUF save quite a bit of CPU time. I did a fair bit of searching, but I couldnt find any hard numbers as to how much of a performance increase one might expect when going from Pitbull -> oUF for unit frames (raid included). Is it a substantial gain? I'm guessing it changes from system to system. Changing to these style of mods seems like quite a plunge (and a large feature loss), so I was hoping for any input on the topic before I give it a shot for real.
Some background info if it helps:
Current mods:
Pitbull, Grid, oRA2, BigWigs, Recount, Omen, Dominos (OmniCC, RedRange), Fubar (with around 10 basic "must have" plugins), ElkBuffBars, Quartz, Mapster, Chinchilla, Bagnon, GhostPulse, Parrot, ItemRack, Prat, TipTac, and then a bunch of small miscellaneous stuff such as sell price info, Rating Buster, BugSack/Grabber, and a couple of simple mods I made myself.
I'd appreciate any advice anyone may have for my situation, thanks!

Do you have shadows set to high? I have the same gfx card and with shadows set to full I get pretty bad fps all over the zones. With shadows set to low or on the second slider I get far better performance. This is with the latest beta nvidia drivers.

I have turned them down, yeah. This has been a problem for quite a while, not only 3.0. Thanks for the tip though.

I saw that, and I'm using it as a target buff filter, what I'm desperate for though is something that will just block certain things from showing up at all in the default buff display (I'm looking at you, Rampage).
The constant buffon/buffoff spam with raidwide everything means my default buff-frames (made beautiful with rBuff) is constantly jumping around, which gets really distracting after a while.

zork I'm thoroughly enjoying the diablo UI atm and the new nameplates look great. I was just wondering if you were planning on continuing supporting the traditional UI with the bar unitframe style or if there is a working version/layout around that I may have missed? Keep up the good work.

There may be a oUF_rUnits layout in future. Not yet though.
By the way: RothUI081026 is out.

I've tried your rothui compilation last night and got drowned in errors. Mind you they weren't on screen but game kept asking me if I wanted to disable all addons. I've tried running !BugGrabber and BugSack just to see what those errors were no luck.
