Hey guys. This is my first UI post because this is the first interface I actually feel proud of! I spent about 4 days working on this...any advice is appreciated.
This is just a view of me not in group or raid. If you can imagine it, in a group, 4 bars appear in a square for my party where the central NE icon is. The icon fades away and a kgpanel fades in to encompass all 4 bars. In raid (=< 25) a kgpanel fades in to outline the raid and the central icon fades away. In raids >25 the alliance icons at the side also fade away and are replaced by raid frames. The bottom left contains a BG minimap but also omen threat meters, so a simple shift+M will get rid of the minimap. The top right contains cappers or bigwigs depending on BG or raid. The top left contains PVP/World status information such as #towers captured.
List of mods:
Align
Aperture
ArkInventory
Bartender3
BigWigs
Capping
Chatter
Chinchilla

CowTip
cyCircled
FuBar

Quartz
Recount
SatrinaBuffFrame
SBFOptions
sct
sctd
Textures (Just a folder containing textures loaded into kgPanels ie both shield designs I found)
Tell me what you guys think! Again, any advice is appreciated.
PS: The shitty frame rate is due to working on this on a shitty laptop in my hotel room. It runs fine on my desktop.

After a while I am yet again posting my UI , lot of elements are based of Stardust UI from Slitherchick so whilst I am not uploading yet you can modify Stardust to similar fashion as I did :

My UI is very playable and very comfortable. I am just not pleased with how it looks. Thoughts, criticism and suggestions are welcome.
You might find that unifying the textures used in your UI (limiting them to one, *maybe* 2) end up aesthetically improving the UI by a great deal. The same goes for your fonts - your Quartz, SCT, and buff frames have one font, yet your UF + chat + misc have another - using one uniform font throughout the entire UI helps in tying it all together and making it seem 'polished'.
You may also want to use a map mod like Chinchilla to clean up your minimap in the bottom right corner, there.
After playing around with UIs for a long time, I was sitting down trying to think of something new. What came to me though, was the realization that the art and such really has no bearing on the actual gameplay of WoW. Now, that doesn't mean I don't like a clean and organized UI, and I'll be damned if I am going to have a cluttered interface. However, something like what I have below is really all I need.
In the middle of your screen, too much redundant information?
You have two set of identical "Fire invulnerability" and "Fireball" cool downs right above your cast bar.
And your player frame also has the cast bar from Pitbull going, despite you already have Quartz as your cast bar.
Like I said, good looking UI, you just need to be a little more "disciplined" to tidy up some redundant information.
So NoUI v8.1 is released. I have no concrete plans of uploading the files at this point, but you can always try to convince me if you really want it. The UI has now been updated with raid AddOns, and should be fully raidable for most classes.
General info:
Font: ABF
Texture: Minimalist
Solution: 1280x1024 with in-game scale to minimum.
Idle: (Player frame disappears when I'm not targetting anything)
Raid: With everything shown except party frames. They appear on top of the action bars scaling from left to right.
Combat:
AddOns used:
PitBull - Unitframes
Parrot - Combat text
EePanels2 - Panels & Boxes
Quartz - Castbar
Omen2 - Threatmeter
Bartender3 - Action bars, with Caith skin (cycircled)
Elkano's BuffBars - Buff bars
SLTimex - Time, fps, latency
Prat - Chat addon
Minichat - Hides the chat when it's not in use
OmniCC - Cooldown Counter on the buttons
BigWigs - Raid Mod
ORa2 - Raid Mod (not visable)
Cartographer - Map
Chinchilla - Minimap
Spamsentry - Removes gold spam messages etc.
Bugsack & Buggrabber - Removes error messages and puts them in a bind
Not much, but it makes me feel comfortable. The unit frames are from StardustUI minus the art behind them until I get around to making some that I like. I'll edit with a raid shot eventually, though it's not much different aside from omen and grid on the right.
I posted my interface here about a month ago, and since then have applied several coats of polish while retaining the same basic idea. Here's a maximally-hectic raid shot with almost everything visible:
wantd to give teh D3 UI a shot and tweak it a bit but ... I gave up, I already missed the configuration of pitbull and stuff like that. Anyway back to my Lyn-alike UI.
Only 'big' change is SBF font, Raid Frames and Cast Bars (inside Player, Target).
