Hotcandy looks horrible, can't seem to get the mod to save or use any bar texture, let alone stay anchored to where I want it. The mod is still too necessary to get rid of =/

Well this is mine

The unit frames are partly taken from Oomm's UI, all the rest is done by myself. I wanted to have all the important bits in the center of the screen, hence the 2nd action bar close to my unit frames and (de)buff timers.

The button you see above my player frame in the first screenshot is the CoolDownButtons addon. It tracks all spells on cooldown and puts them above my player screen for easy CD tracking.

I don't raid so no raid piccies here. For parties I use the default party frame (yeah I like it >_>) and if I would ever have the need for raid frames I guess Grid would be the best option.

Perb, the Grid with expanded horizontal size is perfect. I like the clean look without all the extra space wasted.

I used X-perl since BC and I never liked the wasted space of the name over the health bar. Now, I can see the class, health, debuffs and more in a much easier fashion. I noticed Malkeir on this page with a similar configuration as well. Grid allows a lot more customization and the interface is more straightforward. X-perl just has so many options and tickboxes in my opinion. Not only that, Grid lights up when you are in range of the target making it easier for split group tactics or Battleground use.

It only takes one run to get used to the difference from X-perl and I can definitely say that it is worth it.

Screen Info - 1920x1200 windowed mode

Pitbull - From left to right...Myself, My Target, My Target's Target

Skinner - I use skinner to add my own custom Backdrop Texture File. It changes the background texture on the bottom portion of the screen and all my windows (bags, character window, etc...). I also use the viewport frame so that my game screen doesn't overlap with my addons.

Grid - Grid is sized to fit 25 people with two columns of pets and vehicles.

Other addons I use
Cowtip, Cartographer, Baggins, DBM, and Mounted

Ishtarra as usual, a beautiful and elegant UI. I'm having a hard time picturing where you're going to put the Grid layout in that iteration however. Can you post a raid screenshot to see how that looks?

Very clean, simple and efficient. I like it.
