Mostly taken from Decay Ui i downloaded a couple of months ago, most of it has been changed/moved and a few more mods have been added.

Trying to keep the memory usage as low as possible as it's run on a laptop.

I've been hacking oUF_zlim to fit my taste for the laste few days and I've tried multiple bar mods but I've yet to find one that I like. Are there any addons that will just strip the mainbar graphics and nothing else? Is there a simple way to hide the sidebar and just show it on mouseover? I don't really want a full-featured bar mod just to do that.

Try Roth's action bar, rActionBarStyler . Other than that I like what you've done, maybe a small minimap addon to add some final polish.

Some more updates. I think it's close to something that feels like being complete.

idle
- the chat frames minimize/maximize independently of each other, the panel behind them behaves the same, that's why the right panel looks a bit off in the screenshot

in combat
- all bars, but one are completely hidden, the one that's not shows in combat and/or if you have a target selected and is used for displaying your cooldowns
- target frame debuffs are filtered to only show the players debuffs, showing 40+ debuffs makes not much sense, imho - if you want to track specific/necessary debuffs on a boss you should use something like rFilter instead

edited raid and party screen
- the frames are on the left side of the screen, party hides in >5 man raid, 5 man raid is shown as party

Okay here we go:

Further work on the Uf's (which may look familiar) of a Ui of mine that will be released upon completion.

Lot's of dogtag switching/modding and the obvious addition of the castbar.

Next: A brand new project I wasn't going to post pics of until it was done but oh well.

I really waned to make something more....spacious....I guess. Something that didn't use borders, something that felt lighter. The thin white line under the player health is the power bar and the gray bar inside the health bar is the cast bar. casting text is under power bar (obviously). Also my Ui debut of the Classtimer addon.

I like having all relevant information near the center of the screen so I can see myself standing in the fire. I separate buffs into a) Timeless buffs b) Buffs with long timers c) Short term buffs (<30 secs) and d) debuffs. The debuffs appear immediately to the left of my hud and short term buffs appear immediately to the right.

You could really save a lot of space there by scaling down some of the UI elements. Chat font, Minimap, and Grid all stand out immediately. Once those are scaled down you can reduce the verticle size of the transparent section on the bottom as there's really not a lot in there. No offense meant of course, just my 2 copper.
