Kay ... SO. I took all of your guys' advice and used it in order to minimize the amount of space i was taking up. I like this quite a bit more, but it could definitely use some fine tuning. Does anyone know of a chat addon that will allow me to change the font? I'd like everything to be in minimalist font, or at least all in arial narrow. Another thing, I need something that I can use to make blackish squares with which to place my mods on top of. Right now I'm using chat boxes, with the opacity turned all the way up and turned to black lololol. That's what my recount and Yata are sitting on.

Once again again, any and all help would be appreciated

EDIT: Also, there's no need to tell me to redo my action bars, i'm working on them as we speak, it's just that shit kinda piled up as i was leveling (hit 80 about 2 months ago) and i have yet to completely set up my ui the way I like it. Just trying out different things.

Most people use eePanels or kgPanels to create the blackish squares.

As far as font-changing, I'm a little rusty, but I think there are a number of them out there. I believe I used to use Prat for this, but I might be mistaken. I think I've heard the word "Fontain" mentioned as a possible addon for this as well.

If you don't absolutely need your heal meters at the bottom, you might want to move them top-left. That's a preference point though - I usually keep meters top-left or center when I don't need to look at them frequently, so that I can focus on raid bars or cooldowns or something.

Completely remodelled my interface recently, after seeing an amazing ui i really like in here, stole alot from it and still finetuned it to my liking

Will get a raid photo up soon aswell.

I downloaded eePanels2 and I really really like it, SO much more customizable than a blizzard chat frame >_>

hehehehe. I still feel like it's not being pulled together though

don't get me wrong, this is a MASSIVE improvement from my old ui, but it's still just not tying itself together =/

I might try putting my pitbull player frame down to the left of my shields addon and right above the chat dialog box, I feel like that'd free up some space in the center and would help to make it less cluttered, but it would also prevent me from being able to pop off a quick heal on myself if i'm ever in trouble from heals aggro, or just anything in general. II'd also like to change my dbm font to ABF but I have no idea how to do that lol, not even sure it's possible >.<. Let me know what you guys think, i'll get back to you in pm's because apparently i can only make posts of substance in this forum >.>

EDIT: blah, was just looking over my interface, and putting my player frame right above my chat bar is not an option because when i get more than 1 dbm large bar it would definitely cover up the unit frame :[ Would placing it above help at all? Then i could move the shieldsup to the left and move the unit frame between grid and shieldsup ...

Ok so here is my UI with the add ons this time. Inspired mostly from Lyn and Wimpface.

Raid:

Pretty classic. I tweaked somethings on oUF_Fleetfoot since i'm pretty lazy and don't want to start my own oUF.
It need some tweaking like the damage font with my big screen resolution a you can see on the full image (any help? PM me).
I know skada can do switch between threat and damage but i'm kinda crazy about symetrics and don't know what to put there instead of Omen.

Here's my UI for those of you who requested it.

Keep in mind that it is not healer specific, it's great for those who use keybinds (in my opinion) and I like how minimalistic it is. Let me know if any of you have any other requests.

Maatreis' UI v9000.000000001

FIRST THINGS FIRST:

BACK UP YOUR WTF FOLDERS AND INTERFACE FOLDERS!!!
Then replace your folders with my folders in their respective spots.

Also, this UI is configured for 1440 x 900 wide. If yours is set any different then you will need to go in and manually configure this interface.

Next, go into Maatreis' WTF folder into account and where it says YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT (messed this up, the YOUR CHARACTER should actually say MAATREIS. this MUST be changed in order to get your ui looking like mine.) enter your account name. Where it says YOUR CHARACTER (once again) you need to edit the name of the folder so that it reads MAATREIS.

In order to get everything set up the way it is, you'll need to go like so ... :

/bartender4 config --> and load Maatreis' profile
/grid config --> Layout --> Uncheck horizontal groups
/sexymap. borders --> rune 2 --> Layers --> 5. highlight.
/sexymap. borders --> preset --> load preset to simple square.
/sexymap. zone button --> on hover --> font size 13, font ABF.
/sexymap. uncheck lock minimap --> slide scale to 0.7 --> drag down to right of action bars and position where you see fit.
As far as chatter goes, just hover over it and right click general, click unlock, drag around and adjust the size of it to your preferences. The same goes for Recount.

The font used for my interface was ABF.

If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message and I'll respond when I can. For a more immediate response feel free to send me a message on game server and I'll answer any questions that I can.

*NOTE* - If youre not a shaman you'll want to turn off Yata as well as ShieldsUp, as they are shaman specific mods, which would then allow you to move your damage/healing meter to where YATA is now (right of the minimap)

My UI, although not much has changed since I last posted it here, it has just been perfected. (that's what I like to think at least

)

The main components:
Dominos - Bars
All but one hidden and everything bound to keys.

Pitbull - Unitframes
Only really used for me, target, target target, pet, focus and focustarget.
Focus and focus target show up in between me and targat right above the bar with abilities.
I should work pet target in there too.

Raid and party things are handled by Grid.

Satrina Buff Frames - buffs
sorted in short duration buffs (right side of the screen top to bottom)
Long duration buffs (along the top of the screen, hidden in combat)
Aspect (top right corner)
Debuffs (right side, below short duration buffs)
Lock and Load/other special procs (Middle screen, see through and with a timer bar)

Quartz
Castbars, in the middle between me and my target, for Me, target and focus.

Sexymap
Simple map with all buttons and crap on mouseover to prevent the cluttered minimap thing.

Edit: Forgot to mention Mik's Scrolling Battle Text.
The latest and one of the best additions to help keep my screen from getting cluttered.

Edit2: added a screen of out of combat casting.

This is something I'm working on, atm. It's very much work in progress. Just to get an idea of how I can do it. The UI is inspired by Aion and Lineage. It's not quite minimalistic as I use to make my UIs, but I'm aim at coming close to something that feels minimalistic, while using some art.

I'm currently using 'stuf' to try out some layout thingys. The final UI will most likely be done with oUF.

The wings are hp on the left and power on the right. While the yellowish parts (outer wings) are allways visible the red/blue parts fill/empty when you lose/gain hp/power.

I have to figure out how to set everything up, position, size, .. I'm also thinking about using the wings on the left for player and on the right for target, to save some space. I'm not so sure about the target portrait, either. It's not possible to make a real round one, and that looks stupid from time to time, even more since the game doesn't know all "SetCamera(1) aka full body" models by default and "SetCamera(0) aka Portrait" looks even more stupid on a round shape. I will most likely put the minimap there, instead.

I like to keep things simple.... prefer to edit addons in .lua to avoid bloated menus. All abilities are keybound and hidden; the abilities that are visible are for cooldown tracking.
