No problems, I'll add the feature sometime in the next week and post it up, either in 1.17 or 1.18. I suppose if nothing else, it's a good reminder that your debuff fell off even if it isn't all that useful for maintaining a high DoT-uptime. I'd love feedback on it once you've had a chance to play with it too, if you wouldn't mind.
Once you have it made let me know and I will test drive it for you.

I am looking for a timer i had pre 2.4 that really wasn't a countdown but made a flash on the menubar when a cooldown was up on a spell.
If the above poster's comment about Ghost:Pulse is not what you meant then I think you are also referring to OmniCC or CooldownCount. Both have an option where you can increase the scale of the default cooldown "flash" you get when the cooldown spiral has completed on an action button. The base one is pretty faint, and flat. The mod ones just made it a lot brighter and faster, looked like a big flash on each button as it came up.
I'm a big fan of button's for CD display, I used to use Cooling/Cooling2. The addon got broke in 2.4, which lead to me discovering Cooldown Buttons, which is superior in every way, imo. It's easy to config, flexible, and works quite well for it's purpose.
Once you have it made let me know and I will test drive it for you.
Your feature (or my interpretation of it anyway) is available here. I'm calling it a beta-quality feature because there's a small bit of memory tidy up I have to do on it, plus provide some options for controlling whether it should only occur on boss-mobs or everything, probably a private whitelist/blacklist (uses the normal blacklist for now) and better pre-warning based on the spell/abilities cast time that causes the debuff.
But let me know how you go and if it needs any adjusting or options added that I haven't mentioned above.

I will test this tonight in the raid environment, and let you know. Thanks for the effort in advance.
Edit:
I love it!
Thank you.

Welcome. So I should add the options I mentioned and call that feature complete?
Yes, please do. I also have a few suggestions. Maybe I am blind but I could not find place to re-size the notification window and some of the notifications while off were still popping back up. I am sure if I used black-list they would stop.
To reply to private message. I've noticed odd behaviour only once about not being notified when debuff drops off. While using your mod combined with new OMNICC. My dps went up good 100 points and my dot uptime was almost 100%. Oh and I did like one window feature where all notifications are in one window. Now let me re-size the icon and I am set.
By the way, thanks again for great addon feature.

Has anyone got a nice way of displaying Rampage time left? I use ClassTimers to keep track of my battle shout, which gives me a nice 30-sec bar that decreases properly. But for Rampage the bar stays at max-length until a couple of seconds before it expires, then it shoots down to 0 very quickly, so I sometimes miss refreshing it in time.
I'm guessing it's something to do with each melee hit stacking Rampage to 5, but Rampage is perhaps unique out of buffs that have charges in that I don't care how many charges I currently have, I just need to know the time til it expires.

All pulse icons are resizable. If you're using the 'One Frame' option, then the size and position is based on the 'Cooldown' pulse settings. If you're not using 'One Frame', then if you want to change the size of the target mob debuff pulse for example, go to the 'Mob Debuffs' entry in the configuration, and use the slider labelled 'Target Size' to change the size of the image.
As for notifications popping up after the debuff on the mob is long gone: I'm aware of this problem and will code in a fix over the weekend.
I found the problem with missing pulses for mob debuffs - it's the GCD. I ask the API 'Is this spell ready yet' (based on the debuff) and if you're in a GCD, the API says it's on cooldown and hence no pulse. I've updated GP to 1.19 to remove this 'ready check' until I get time to code in a real solution (which isn't hard, just have to find the time).

Does this help?
I told you I was blind when it came to resizing. All of the issues have gone away and I am one happy camper here.
Thanks for the mod and the updates!

What i would find nice is an addon that does the opposite of CD timer...
Basically, as a druid I am almost always in the GCD. I am too busy staring at my unitframes during intense situations to be able to see if the spell went off yet (I usually click someone, lifebloom, click another, spam lifebloom until I see the buff added to them, continue to next person, etc). It would be awesome for something like ghost:pulse, where when I cast a spell it pops something up on my screen, rather than popup when a cooldown is up. This way I can spend less time staring at little buff icons for a refresh and quickly switch to the next target. Oh and I know I could see this by looking at my action bars, but it is too far away from my unitframes to spare looking there so often. I am also our raid leader so the last thing I am looking at during a fight is my action bars...something that flashes to get my attention like ghost would be ideal.
If I understand you correctly, you want a single pulse icon that you can position/size where like that shows you the icon of the spell you just cast? This feature would have text associated with it (which of course you could choose to switch off) that tells you the spell name and perhaps, if I'm clever enough, who you cast it on?
Is this what you're after?
EDIT: I'm not clever enough (well, couldn't be bothered *just* yet) to add your spell target in to the text bit, but the feature you request will be in 1.21 out sometime in the next 24 hours I'd say.
EDIT 2: It's posted up now as 1.21. Let me know if it's what you're after.
EDIT 3: Feel free to post comments on my WoWInterface page if you want something - let's keep the EJ forums free of this sort of stuff.

Awesome, Footrot ... That is exactly what I would like, in fact I just updated right now to 1.23 ... I'll try it out. Yea I'll keep any further requests to the comments. I was sorta just speculating to this thread, didn't actually think it would be implemented Thanks.
Edit: It's amazing...exactly what I envisioned ... Thanks again!

I saw that as well. I believe this fixes it, you'll need to edit ClassTimer.lua. Insert the highlighted line below, at line 349
break
end
if unit == "player" and name == "Rampage" and remaining then duration = 30 end
if duration and duration > 0 and self.db.profile.Abilities[name] then
local t = new()
if self.db.profile.Units.sticky.enable and self.db.profile.Sticky[name] then
My wish for a countdown timer would be one that actually plays custom sound files that says: "Scorch is dropping" , "polymorph ending" , "trinket 1 is up" etc. I know I am lazy but I would like to convenience of just watching bars and focus on enjoying the fight.

I have to stop 'selling' my mod where I shouldn't be, but Ghost: Pulse does this. You can define custom sounds for custom events. Try it out and tell me where I need to change stuff to make it work for you. You'll need to find (or record) your own sounds, but the facility to do what you're after is there.

I use ElkBuffBars for this, and some boss buffs/debuffs. I don't use EBB for my buffs/debuffs, just delete the groups and uncheck "Hide Blizzard Buff Frame" to make the default ones available to your buff mod of choice. I created a custom group called Fury and placed it in the middle of my screen for Battle Shout and Rampage. Works perfectly in a single bar reducing down and shows the stack count.
Only time I've ever had it bug out is when I get MC'd in BT by Charming Courtesans. For some reason it loses context and from then on every second that ticks makes the bar refresh to full length. Easily fixed with a reload.

Did I miss how to change the visual appearance? I really really dislike the way the buttons look, Id prefer on icon on a rothui style border, but I didnt see a way to adjust it easily.
Finally figured out what this (the boxes above his player unit frame) is... oCD available from oAddOns
Do you have any idea how it was modified to look like that, I just downloaded it and loaded it up and as it says in the summary it is hardcoded right below the UI errors frame. I'm just wondering if there is anyway to change this as well as tweak some other things, any information would be greatly appreciated.
