At the moment I´m trying to customize my Addons a bit more and what I wanted to add was playing sounds when I get a certain buff (Drums of Battle for example) now there are several addons that do let me play sounds and I even can add personal sound files (MSBT does that at least) Now my question is how do I get those sounds, or how do I find them in the different addon folders, for example Omen plays a nice Wardrum sound as a aggro warning I´d like to add that for Drums too, but I can´t find an audio file for it.
There was also a nice sound in one of the older WL compilations like Necrosis I think that said >Shadow Trance!< whenever you gained a nightfall proc. I´d like to add that again too.
Now the real question is, is there some sort of compilation or maybe a website, or just something where I can get myself some nice little audio files to customize these warnings?
Most of these sounds are already in wow, to view them all get a program like mpqviewer and open the wow\data\common.mpq file, then extract the desired sound files.
The Mpqviewer ist great! I have something to play around now for VERY long ^^
@zxixa I only looked for the soundfiles, notifying if something happens can be done by for example Mik's Scrolling Battle Text ... just go to events, make a new one with the restriction buff gained ... kill command, or whatever, I didn´t play my hunter since maybe 2 years or so ^^ but thats definitely the way to go.
I think this might be what your looking for. Scripts for every sound! "It's a .txt file that should have the command to play every sound in the game, from Illidan to Thermaplugg, from Kael'thas to the sound that items make when you move them in your bags."
