why is SWP rated higher than SWD in the max dps cicle? i think SWDs damage is just a bit lower than mb because of the t6 bonus (4 pieces) and the less dmg, isn't it?
explanation plz

It's just a matter of spamming the crap out of the keys when you're casting anything, except chaining Mind Flays.
I used to try and simply time casts with Quartz, but you really can't reach max potential unless you simply mash your keys.

spell Haste
Hello,
I was wanting to know a little bit more about spell haste. At what point should you start going for haste instead of dmg? Currently i am at 1pc t6, so i am still 2/48/11 spec. I have a pretty decent start to a haste set. There are also a couple of crafted haste pieces out there that i can make. My dilemma is when to make the switch and if anyone had any pointers on haste. If there is another post about it ill gladly go there just got lost in the mass of posts.
Thank you for your help!

Im new on the site and I have trouble justifying searching through 46 pages for the spreadsheets on dps. Im combat swords in ZA/Hyjal gear atm, but Im mildly disappointed in dps output. I see people in similar gear producing higher numbers and it bothers me tbh. I was combat daggers for a long time, and decided to go swords to see if I could put out more dps. In fact, I did, but not enough to be satisfied. Im wondering if it is my rotation or if Im gemmed incorrectly or otherwise doing something ignorant. Any help would be appreciated.

I am also concerned about the prospect of bears becoming high-health sponges, but why not? A bear having better armor than someone wrapped in thick plate seems weird, even accounting for the magic nature of druids. A higher health pool is a better fit, conceptually.
Of course, that doesn't mean high health is all we have to have. Tanks should focus on their conceptual flavors: whatever makes them tough enough to tank (beyond equipment): - Paladin: Divine magic
- Warrior: Pure martial skill and training
- Deathknight: Dark magic
- Druid: Natural magic
We need to focus on the natural magic aspect of druids. Why not: - Rampant health: Healing done to you overflows to nearby allies.
- Brother of all: Damage you take empowers others around you, increasing their [something here, like haste, spellpower, rage, mana, energy, etc...].
- Earth bond: When your health gets low, the earth wraps you in [something like barkskin].
- Dream walker: There is a chance magical damage against you dissipates through your link to the Emerald Dream.
Some of these ideas might not focus on pure tanking (survivability/threat), but add utility. (Yes, I used the U word.)

I'll repost what I did earlier since now I have a couple of wow web stat files for you guys to analyze:
I was hoping some of you guys could possibly point out something I may be missing or give me an objective perception of something I’m overlooking.
I am trying to maximize my PVE raid dps. In Hyjal, I can easily be around 4th or 5th place on damage meters, usually behind our mages and warlocks on trash. I usually pull 1000-1500 dps, sometimes more sometimes less, overall by the end of the night. I can understand in Hyjal why mages/locks are pulling on average 3000 dps due to the amount of mobs on each wave. On the single target Boss fights I seem to drop to 7th or 8th place, usually behind locks/mages/ and 1 or 2 of our rogues.
In Black Temple, it seems to be a similar story, but my trash and boss placements on the damage meters seems to be more constant, around 5th – 7th place, due to the lesser amount of mobs in each trash pull.
I have been assuming it was simply luck, the nature of the boss fight, or certain classes being more suited to specific boss fights.
Myself, and our rogues are with a Shaman on most raids, and sometimes a BM hunter or a feral druid, depending on how many rogues we bring. So I usually have optimum raid conditions for a fury warrior.
I am doing BT/WW rotation, using a Heroic Strike while BT/WW are on cooldown and keeping Rampage/Battle shout up constantly. I am using Flask of Relentless assault, +20 food, Adamantite stone on OH.
I have gotten mixed thoughts on whether or not to put the Adamantite weightstone on the OH even in a group with a shaman for WF, I can see the logic to doing so, but I want to make sure I’m correct in this.
I’m working on getting the badge crossbow to replace my serpent spine bow. I know the Choker of Enldess Nightmares, and the Shadowmoon Cloak are my biggest upgrades, until we get back into Sunwell.
I just wanted to get opinions on if I’m overlooking something that I should change/improve. I hear about fury warriors doing 2k dps, not sure how I can do much more different, but I’m open to any suggestions.
My armory is:
The World of Warcraft Armory
My armory hasn't updated to show I'm using the 2 Fists of Vanir as my PVE dps weapons.
Here are 2 wow web stat reports for you to use to give me some feedback:
Wow Web Stats
Wow Web Stats
I usually use Heroic Strike while BT/WW are on cooldown, and I've been trying to monitor when I stop using it so I have enough rage for BT/WW, sometimes I get overzealous on fights that I'm unfamiliar with and paying attention to them more closely than other fights, like some of the sunwell bosses since they are new fights.
I do not usually use haste pots...Honestly I forget about them, I'll make more of an effort to use them.
As for the buffs in raids, I'm usually in with a shaman for WF/SoE totems. I very seldom get drums, unless someone is using them and I am not aware of it. I think our locks never use CoR, since we just started bringing a DPS warrior, so there was never a way to counteract it.
I had spec'd imp. demo shout, but our locks don't keep CoR on all fights and for 2 weeks of having imp demo shout, it hadn't helped too much at all, for the lack of CoR.
i appreciate any feedback you can give. I honestly think I'm doing my rotations correctly, and using BT/WW when they are up. i think if any issues with my rotation are there, it's because I'm not timing my rebuff of Battle Shout or Rampage at the right times and there is a second or two where BT/WW are off cooldown and I'm not using them. I can see where over time this might build up but I'm not sure.
I seem to be missing alot, higher than I would normally expect. I am using the best gear I can find, I think, while not gemming for hit. I compare to others and my hit seems to be on par with others with the same gear, and I seem to be lacking dps, so I think it's just me. Should I use +hit food instead of +str food?
One other big question....would it be beneficial for me to switch to a 20/41/0 2h fury build? I've tried it before but I had lesser gear and my latency is around 130ms. Wasn't sure when it would be a good time to switch to a 2h fury. I've heard around 3k buffed ap, which i have, but i heard with any issues with latency the imp slam build is bad. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance for your help or suggestions.

Question
Hi,
I like to have some advises from you about the next gear upgrades I should take.
It's a while ago I raid with my hunter and now, I start again since a month or so, after the first struggles like creating as fast as possible shadow resistance gear are solved, I check what other Items I could upgrade as soon as possible.
But at fact, I'm really unsure what's better for a beastmaster, should I go to haste or go on crit/ap or at armor ignore.
Myself I think, if I go on something, I should stay on it and not mixed it up.
Here is my armory link:
The World of Warcraft Armory
Don't bother about the insignie I was still have it inside it because of Archimonde.
My Questions are:
What kind of stat is important as a beastmaster, If there are different options or so, please explain it to me.
I already informed me often about this options, but I every time read something else and now I'm little bit confused about this things.
If somebody else have some advises, what kind of Item need to be upgraded or see some other mistakes, please informed me about them.
I know, there is no enchant on my houset, thats known, because I get them yesterday and I'm already working hard on the epic enchant for it.
Thanks in advance for your answers

Recently, I fought Mauro's team.
His composition was marks Hunter Enh Resto druid.
Unfortunately, I think my comp countercomps his in some way, or another.
I beat him several times and I think I deprived him of his s4 weapons.
But from what ive seen, hunter enh druid could easily counter warrior teams, possibly war druid lock.
If he reads this forums, gg, well played.

The presence of Demons and Undead in KZ simply means you'll have the opportunity to supplement your DPS with Exorcisms. It does not change how you should be gearing.
Finally, please do try to maintain correct capitalization and punctuation. Contractions such as "qn" and "abt" should be avoided.

Hi Prinsesa, thanks for the useful information. I have a better idea on how to approach KZ now.

Juice, think about what YOU are writing.. :-)
"None of us give a shit what you do when you aren't on our forums. From the look of your post, you're busy filling your days with not learning how to read or write like a grown up."
Don't you think writing like a grown up includes not using offensive, provocative terms like "none of us gives a shit"?
It's pretty obvious this whole thread was doomed from the beginning due to thread starter's "internetz-badass" attitude which made him look like a laughable kid instead.
This could have actually turned out to be a nice cooperative project between the different users (official WoW forums / EJ forums etc) but due to the horrible attitude from the thread starter this probably won't happen now.
I also find it extremely hilarious that you are giving infractions to people not using capital letters but you have not given an infraction to Hattori Hanzo for using a common "l33t" abbreviation GTFO in the title of this very thread..
Good luck on keeping the forum "grown up" though!

*chuckles* I'm still in 5-man territory (just edging into 10), and so I think I'm overly biased towards utility. Most of my information on raids is academic based on what I read here.
What's amusing is that I'm in Industrial Engineering, heavily skewed towards Operations Research, simulation, and computational methods (read: programming). As such, it seems that Wrath raid compositions will turn into something akin to a knapsack or NLP problem. It's a problem I hope to solve. It's funny; sometimes I feel like I'm seeing my entire academic career through the lens of WoW. Or seeing WoW through the lens of IE.
