Inner Sanctum have released their own bossmod/dkp addon a few days ago and I thought it was worth opening a discussion about it. I'm gonna try it since it does look very good and simple, just what I want. Also it has the possibility for a leader to add new timers on the fly etc on progression encounters.

Hello,
yesterday I tested the addon at the twins in sunwell. it looks nice and clearly, but the problem was, the timer started random before we pulled the twins...
after that i manualy activated the timer a few second before the pull. then the timer for conflagerate come only once. for the rest of the fight, i had only the enrage timer and the hp bar..
sorry for my bad english, school is a long time out..

Why would you say "Too bad it ain't ACE'd"? Ace doesn't make an addon a good addon by default.

This mod was made at 1st for our use only, so it's possible there are a couple of bugs still, regarding Standalone mod ( new feature ) and other stuff.

Morrow is been updating it almost everyday to correct small errors people find, so if you enjoy it we would gladly listen to your suggestions and reports of errors/bugs in order to fix it and make it better.

Either here or in our forums ( Team Excello - Defining Excellence ) where you will be able to receive all information you need regarding it.

Yes, that is completely true. But the reason that i regret that it isn't ACE'd, is that 90% of my current addons are written in ACE, so I prefer to use ACE addons to keep the memory usage as low as possible without giving up on game quality.

Bigwigs timerbars aren't prettier than that of IScore either. I wasn't talking about performance, I was merely stating that from an esthetical point of view IScore surpasses CT_Raid (and BigWigs too, imo).

If you are looking for a one-click addon updater, check out wowmatrix. It works almost the same as WAU.

This addon runs the lowest memory of any raid timer I've ever used, including Ace's BigWigs.

Or perhaps numbers on things more relative to the actual performance of the addon, like memory churn or cpu utilization.

C'mon, I thought discussions like this were done to death 6+ months ago.

Memory efficient addons are perfectly possible even if they aren't ace and there are plenty of ace mods that use a lot more memory then non ace counterparts. And since one click updating with wowaceupdater isn't a possibility anymore, there really is no reason to act as if other addons don't match up purely because of whether they are ace or not.
