Idea: CC Tooltips

So we ran a group of 5 people through Kael'thas last night and after the first wipe because I completely forgot about what's sheepable, fearable, etc I proposed that every mob should be renamed "TK Sheepable" or "TK not CCable." Obviously it would lose a bit of realism, but hell, it would be nice

What I really want though is a mod that bassically has a list of all the mob names and a list of CC techniques that can be applied to them. When I hover over a mob it has that list in a window similar to the Auctioneer suite. This would be awesome for going back to old instances or for those of us who really don't pay attention to names at all. Or for starting in on new content.

I'm thinking that mob name is "good enough" to be a unique idenitifier for this, but if there are examples that I don't know about, that would be nice to know.

I'm a professional programmer by trade and I've done a few simple ACE mods to yell at me about RF not being up and so forth, but this I think extends beyond that limited knowledge of the WoW API. So I guess my question comes down to two things:

1) Does something like this exist for raid leaders?
2) If "no" to the first, where should I start looking? Would the DBM or BigsWig people be interested in this?

Have a look at Mobnotes: WoWInterface Downloads

Extensible so you can add your own reference points as well - helpful moving into an xpack w/ tons of new content!

In a similar vein, you'll want to pick up MobSpells as well, which captures every spell/effect you ever see a mob use and shows them in the tooltip (or can report them to the raid).

Between that and your MobNotes, you'll have a clear picture of a mob when you hover over it.
