This is a pretty random thread to host that discussion, but runspeed enchants are mentioned here: Shaman: Enhancement

It's comparing agility to runspeed, but you could probably adapt his equation for whatever enchant you care about.

Eh, there was some dispute over whether that was even accurate and its from TBC too. I think its pretty much accepted now that getting out of the fire faster is better overall.

Shitting up every single thread on EJ since '06

This is currently the biggest issue I am having with Skada. I decided to run recount and Skada at the same time to see why there was a discrepancy. All the component damage is exactly the same, but Recount and Skada are calculating DPS differently. Does Skada take time between phases into account when calculating DPS? The 2 fights tested were EoE10 and ToC10 (I know, phase heavy, which is how I got to this conclusion).

I agree with the concept that the calculation is subjective, but having a toon show up as 3500 dps on one meter and 3000 on another seems to be a huge difference. Anyone else experiencing same thing?

I think recount guesses the dps by trying to figure out when you are actually doing damage and when you are not. Like the 5 second rule for healers. I think skada just takes the moment where you enter combat till the moment you leave it.

The realistic way to show dps over the period of a fight is from entering combat to leaving it. That's why dps is not the important factor to look at, it's damage and activity per fight!

If recount only counts damage and dps when you are doing something you could easily blow all CDs and do nothing until they are up again. Woot, imba dps! Yeah, I'm exaggerating, but I hope you get the point.

But people will notice that you are behind all pets in damage, although you have 12000+ dps, don't you think?
