Hey Margot, I have a question... Grid usually creates a huge, unclickable dead frame in the rectangle area its elements occupies. Is there a way to get around this?

If it's a setting in the menu, I'm going to shoot myself >_> It's the only reason I haven't done something like what you did to get more old-school raid bars.

I know it's crazy, but you can type "discord unit frames" into Google. It's the first hit.

I went there and quickly found a thread in their forum with a 2.0 port of several components.

Bartender3 for buttons. Discord Unit Frames hacked for 2.0 with a theme that I cooked up myself. ChatMOD, eCastingBar, SimpleMinimap and tons of other small addons. Best finds since 2.0: Rating Buster, cgCrafty and PoisonMaster3.

No, that's just the way it renders, unfortunately, as one big box, even if there's no 'frame' for a player, there is still the grid container frame. This works out ok for me, if I'm targetting stuff its generally in the middle or lower. Actually, now that I think about it, maybe the frama strata could be changed somehow for the grid frame.. thanks for the idea. ;)

Hi,

So I stumbled across your forums here while I was trying to customize my UI some more. I keep coming across screens of UIs that have a "dashboard" for lack of a better term at the bottom of them. Most of them are a black/grey gradient, the one guy on the first page of this thread had a pink one.

What mod is it creating this? I can't seem to figure out what it is. Are you guys making this yourselves with ACE or is it an actual mod?

I've even seen these gradients in the loot boxes of some screens.

An and all help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

With the introduction of 2.0 my personall goal was to key bind as much as possible and not have as much bar space taken up. I was previous a clicker and I believe this slowed me down in pvp and pve. My finished UI is pretty clean comparable to my old versions. I realise I'm not in a raid so it is likely to clog up much more but solo I think its perfect just need to find a way of moving my tooltip, I tried tinytip and it seemed broken for me.

i installed ag_unitframes some months ago and i loved this raidframes setup (tanks, DPS, Healer) but I can't find this option in the latest version

is this something Lua5.1/Patch2.0 related or am I just blind?

Basically just Ace stuff like AG unitframes, Bartender3 and FuBar. Also visible is Itemrack and Monkeyquest. Actually only took about 30 minutes to set up. I'd like to thank everyone who had good suggestions in the important addons for leveling thread.
