I know I'm guilty of this as well, but what's the possibility of minor descriptions in brackets next to the mod for what it does? Say I'm not familiar with Bartender, or Chronometer? Clearfont/Natur's Enemy Cast Bars are straight forward, but something like warmup (Which I've detailed in my post) probably helps people out :)

While the tools (addons) will be the same for most people, there is something to be said for how they are used. I like to understand why people place certain addons in certain places (some healers like to keep raid frames near the top of their screen, while others stay to a side or even bottom.)

With that said, my work in progress

Trinity - the bar you see on the left are my bindings, which are usually hidden
FuBar (Regen, Bag, Mail, BugSack, Duece Commander)
ag_UnitFrames
IceHud
Elk Buff Bars
Squeenix - the default map icon is driving me crazy.
BigWigs
Enemy Cast Bar
oRA2
Skinner
SW Stats
Itemrack
Sorren's Timers
eCastingBar
Prat

Before you tell me I have Target, and ToT twice, I'm testing to see whether I can adjust to looking at the center of my screen for target information. ag_Unitframes are still only showing 20 debuffs for me, while IceHud is showing 40 for the target. I'm also trying to find a place to put SW Stats that I like. If I could figure out how to resize the window, I would just place it in the bottom right corner.

Yup! Sort by class, rather then group, show HP deficit rather then percent, deselect show boarders.

edit; I'll most likely be switching back to PerfectRaid once it's out, regardless of what libraries it uses.

BTW...one of the big reasons I like these threads...I used to use a colour buffmod before (I think it was somehow built into CT? Something like that), but no idea where it came from. Kept trying to find ElkBuffBar, but nothing coming up...

Elkanos Buffbar is the proper name. Will be getting it when I get home.

Going to redo the UI again. Really get it 100% down. Going to look for some more unitframe mods. I like simple (like AGUF), but find AGUF is bloated with a lot of stuff I don't need.

Can anyone recommend something (that preferebly snaps) in its place? Also the lower the memory consumption the better.

Not that I have a bad PC, but I just have a thing about having a lot of shit built into a mod that I don't need :)

There is the link for the most up-to-date copy of ElkBuffBar. No telling the last time curse-gaming.com has had an updated copy of it.

Bongos (bars on the left)
Squeenix (square minimap)
Aguf (unit + raid frames)
Titan
Fubar (honor mod bottom right)
Clearfont
ChatMOD (left chatbox)
Hitsmode (right chatbox)

I'm trying to figure out what to do with the cluster on the left side, and the rather large empty hole on the left side, but this is the basic setup I like. Does anyone know how to have Bongos [hide until mouseover] or is that no longer possible with the changes? I'd be able to hid 1/2 the stuff on those bars then.

Acustar,

Just wondering why you are using Titan and Fubar? I was under the impression that Fubar was basically Titan Panel Ace'd. I'm pretty sure you can get all the plugins for Fubar that you can for Titan. I personally use Fubar and doesn't see any advantage of using Titan Panel with it. Just curious :)

I just havn't gotten around to it yet, I guess I'll try and find everything I need and give it a shot, it's most likely a waste to have both running.

Here's what I'm working with:

AG Unit Frames, Bartender3, Cooldown, cyCircled, eCastingbar, Grid, Hotcandy, La Vendetta, SCT, Serious Buff Timers, Simple Combatlog, Skinner, Squeenix, Technicolor and XRaid Status.

Most of the mods are the same as have already been posted here. I have since moved my target bars together at the top of the screen along with my hot tracker and LaVendetta bars but everything else is the same.

Here is a link to the mods I used: http://members.coolcatguild.org/chos...les/AddOns.zip

I'm gonna guess its "Hotcandy" from his description.

Vyktianity already has over 75 billion followers. The first verse in his book "Gift of the Wild" is "In the beginning Vyk cast lifebloom and then maul."

Given the number of people that show their channel names plain as day, this is probably the case the majority of the time.
When I posted my UI I had a fake wisper going to a prominate member of EJ saying that I loved him (or something purposefully homosexual in nature). No one on these forums noticed, but everyone in my guild did. I now get spammed with lude macros of ASCII penises and that EJ members name once a day easily. Looking back, wasnt the smartest idea, but I got a good laugh from it.

GotWood works perfectly for me for totem timers. Just remember to do a /gotwood lock to get rid of the hideous background once you've moved it.

Question for Grid users. I'm trying to set Earth Shield as a high priority buff, but I cannot get it to display. I did the whole add buff thing and named it exactly as the buff reads on my screen - "Earth Shield." Is there something I'm missing?

Related question. Has anyone heard of a mod specifically for Earth Shield? I'm looking for something that will show how many charges are left on the person I put it on and maybe just a small notification when it needs to be recast.

Is it acceptable to use this thread as a "hey, help me here" or is that best left for the developer's forum?

I've been using defaultUI (with addons) since I started playing in June 2005 and only yesterday did I try to use Ace. I followed instructions and after 4 hours (!!!) of configuration and playing around I got it to where I liked it.

Then it blew up and I'm again back at the default UI (with addons).

Just to add to the collection of Generic UIs:

I'd give some kind of detailed description, but it's mostly just a collection of the mods everyone else uses arranged in a different shape.
I'm trying to figure out what's causing the ridiculous memory usage when I'm in a raid however, though the changes to Garbage Collection with the new version of Lua being used at least mean it isn't as noticable as before.

Chicken, can you tell me specifically what you're using for those player targets (MT targets?) to the right of your grid. Thanks in advance.
