Click for large. Mostly Ace2 mods, apart from Discord Art and a few others, and dart is surprisingly non bloated! (only 400kb of script memory.) I like to think it's slightly less generic than the other 8000 Ace UIs out there.

I'm fairly happy with it. In case anybody wants to try it out for themselves, I've uploaded it here:

Zygar's UI Compilation.
Contains:
ag_UnitFrames
bc_TrackingMenu
Bongos
cyCircled
Clearfont
Discord Art
ElkBuffBar
EngBags (autosorting bags and bank)
Fubar, with AmmoFu, ClockFu, GarbageFu, Mailfu, MicroMenuFu, MoneyFu, and PerformanceFu
GMail
Ludwig (lightweight item database, far superior to lootlink)
MoveAnything
oCB (Casting Bar)
OmniCC
Prat
RatingBuster
ScrollingCombatText
Skinner
Squeenix
Tinytip

Here's my generic ace UI

AG unitframes - Love these simple unit frames
Autobar
Bartender3 - Stance shifting is now fixed incase you had issues before
Bigwigs (raid warn small note, we had issues with the twins teleport last night with this version)
Cartographer - Great map mod, also I have it collecting my mining info with cart mining which is similar to gatherer
Chronometer - Dot Timer
Closetgnome - itemrack clone
Elkbuffbar - buffs in timer bar form
Fubar - Titan replacement which is a must have when you go ace for the easy configuration access
Gmail - ctmailmod replacement
Henge - This is like a necrosis for all classes. Its a ways off from being ready, I'm watching it develeop before I really start using it
Manufac - this makes pull down menus to attach your tradeskills into fubar. kinda handy has some bugs though
Minimalist - lots of little things are done by this mod. I really think everyone should have it.
Mobhealth - shows mob hps in target frames
oCB - casting bar replacement
oCD - shows cool downs for abilities in bar timer form
Onebag - simlar to allinoneinventory or other bag replacers
ORA2 - ctraidmod replacement
Prat - chat mod for clean easy chatting
SCT - shows combat info around your character
Silver Dragon - tracks rare spawns info
Skinner - changes most interface looks to make them cleaner and easier to read
Squeenix - square map ftw
Xloot - changes the loot frame
XPBarNone - using this for my alt warr mainly, but level 70 is aorund the corner. I think it can be used for rep tracking as well.
XRS - buff checking mod for raid leaders, has some bugs still.

How were you able to get AGUF to show all the debuffs and buffs? Do you change the code yourself?

you mean on the target unit frame?
Well the answer is probably no anyway since I haven't changed any of the code.

I do have show status and show raid icon enabled, maybe thats what you're seeing...

I keep everything i need to see on my main monitor, and things i only glance at on the other monitor. Sure there is black space but....who cares? Really, a second monitor can only add to your ui, not detract from it. If you can find even one thing cluttering your play area and move it over to a second monitor then it was worth it.

If you're going to run dual screen, why have anything at all on the playing screen? (left side in this case)

I still don't see the attraction to this.

Man imagine if you had to drive down the road in your car and your speedometer was in your glove compartment.

You answer your first question with your last statement really. As you can see, the stuff he has on his second screen are things that aren't of immediate need while playing, but still something you can't go without. You don't have your car stereo console next to your speedometer do you?

i have two monitors on my WoW PC as well and have thought about running dual screen for a long time, but always end up deciding that the second lcd is better served with a internet browser window up - you spend so much time in wow just waiting for something, whether its a raid start or sitting around the mine hoping someone shows up to attack :)

Since pretty much everyone on here seems to run the same set of ace2 mods, just layed out in different ways, here are some of my favorite ace2 mods right now:

- Automaton: tons of little modules that automate stuff in wow. skip gossip, auto release in BGs, auto repair, auto vendor grey loot, etc. at least half a dozen, some of which I had to turn off (nameplates??)

- capping: with all the recent PVP craze, great pvp mod. shows timer bars for everything that is going on in wsg/av/ab, like flag caps, estimated end time & score in ab, etc.

- cyCircled: changes bartender/bongos bars from squares to circles. pretty

- GoGoMount (not ace2, regular mod): bind key to mount, will auto pick random mount for you.

- MikScrollingBattleText (not ace2): lightweight version of SCT, easier to config and has some nice features like combining AOE spam (if you hit 7 targets with a AoE it shows only 1 message with X dmg [N targets]).

- ShardAce: lightweight ace2 version of necrosis for warlocks

- vBagnon: moving from onebag to this is a little strange, but once you get used to configuring vBagnon (its not easy) its very cool. I dumped autobar and instead have a "virtual bag" that has all my consumables, and I keep this open during boss fights for easy access to pots, bandages, etc.

remember you can get every ace2 mod at www.wowace.com/files , be sure to get WoWAceUpdater and you can run updates automatically. I do hope they figure out a way to have a "release version" mechanism put in, since right now its a crapshoot whether you'll get a buggy update or not when you run winace - hence I always backup my entire AddOns folder before running WAU and keep 3 versions of AddOn folders as backup.

Has anyone noticed that in ag_Unitframes, when you hide a mana bar and then unhide it (I think that is what triggers it), the mana frames get darker and more transparent? Does anyone know how to undo this?

The delivery leaves something to be desired, but I agree with the point. I have a widescreen monitor to see the games I play, not to alter them and hide everything. I want chat to be readable, but that doesn't mean I permanently hide the game where the chatbox is. I leave it with a dark background and semi-transparent.

Many parts of my game are semi-transparent, because I want the best of both worlds. I want to be able to easily discern chat, health, etc while still keeping an eye on my surroundings. Black bar strips on the bottom only serve to annoy me, because even if you can only see it behind your buttons without the strip, you can still see enough to make a difference.

By using the right mods you aren't hiding the parts of the screen, more of squeezing the visible screen into a smaller resolution thus producing your black lines

Regarding black space, keep in mind that when you alter the viewport (ie, world frame) you are reducing the rendered area of the screen. when I had a crappier system, it made some impact on FPS. There's also personal preference, visual organization, etc. ;)

See you, auntie.

your FPS goes up as well if you decrease the viewport. Honestly though how much can you really see behind the chat boxes... but to each his own!

my interpretation of viewported UIs has always been as an aestetic, like framing a picture in a frame with thick black borders. I generally like the look, but I never do it to my own UI since I don't like losing screen realestate.

Then again I play with a widescreen resolution on a non-widescreen monitor, so I guess I'm giving myself the worst of both worlds anywa...

I use viewport purely for visual appeal personally. I like how it allows me to focus on "what matters" in the middle of the screen. Typically the stuff on the bottom part of the screen is not detrimental to my gameplay anyhow, so "blacking it out" is not a huge loss for me.

I do, however, keep the top bar a bit transparent so when I'm not in a group I can see through it a bit. I have my group frames going across the top of my screen, so when in a group the transparency isn't as noticeable.

I think Kaubel was trying to say: "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything." Which is good advice that all of our mothers probably told us at some point.
